  • Amazing Property located in the gated community of Rumbling Bald Resort on over one and a half acres of land featuring a trout stream, waterfalls and a swimming hole. Perfect location to get away from it all. This property has all you need for a restful family retreat. Less than an hour away from Asheville and two from Charlotte - make this your summer stay-cation or perfect work-from-home paradise!

    We are following CDC cleaning guidelines and offer contact-less check-in.

    The main home sleeps up to 12 in four bedrooms and one bunk room. The Cabin Guest House & Pavilion has a large covered gathering area (20 feet by 30 feet) as well as a 650 square foot sleeping/living area with 2 bunk beds (queen on bottom and twin on top). In addition to central heat and air, both are equipped with large ceiling fans for the warm summer days as well as fireplaces for cool mountain evenings.

    Numerous porches, decks and patios provide many areas to gather with family and friends or to get away for a quiet spot by yourself. Sit in the swing by the stream and enjoy the soothing sound of the waterfalls, roast marshmallows in the fire pit or play board games by a warm fire.

    The house has ample parking and easy access for loading and unloading. We are conveniently located near the beach, pools, wellness center, clubhouse and golf course.

    Your rental also includes access to all of the resort's amenities including a private white sand beach, children’s water park, distinct dining experiences, numerous hiking and biking trails and two championship golf courses.

    Internet access has been upgraded and includes a separate wifi at the guest cabin.

    Lake Lure Rumbling Bald resort and it's amenities (many of which are included in the rental cost) is approximately a 10 minute walk. There you will find the beach, indoor & outdoor pools, lazy river, mini golf, fitness center, spa, salon, tennis, pickle ball, golf courses, restaurants, marina, boat and golf cart rentals and more!

    The Town of Lake Lure with another beach and water park is a 20 minute drive.

    Chimney Rock is a 25 minute drive.

    The nearest large grocery store (Ingles) is a 15 minute drive from the house.

Beautiful setting, peaceful and relaxing. Gathering spot for family and friends. Celebrated my sisters 60th birthday with 20 guests who all stayed innRambling Bald at the blue green townhomes. This home was the perfect spot to get together for meals and socializing.

Beautiful!

Great Place to Stay in Rumbling Bald Resort

Booked this home for a golf trip for 12 friends. Guest house was great, owner communicated regularly, and location was fantastic. Had a great stay. Seems like home would be great for families, as well.

Family Time @ Lake Lure

Beautiful and comfortable home to spend time with family. The owner, Toni, was so accommodating and helpful, answering any questions we had re: our stay. From the peaceful stream that runs through the property, to the safe and perfect s’mores fire pit and guest cabin, complete with pavilion, all of us had a great vacation!

Family Vacation

A week filled with family time, lots of resort activities such as golf, pool, Fourth of July golf cart entry, and day trips to nearby points of interest. The house and amenities met all our needs. The stream was refreshing and relaxing.

Gorgeous property with great amenities

Comfortable accommodations for 10 people and 1 kid. The property is even better in person. On-site amenities at resort were great. Enjoyed playing golf on resort and nearby golf courses. Easy day trips to Tryon to tour wineries and Asheville for breweries. Near great great restaurants.

Peaceful

Our family of 12 had a wonderful experience at this property. The home was comfy and cozy and the property surrounding the home was very peaceful and surreal. Perfect place for our 4 grandchildren and grand dogs. I wish it would have been a summer visit so the kids could have swam.

Great reunion property

This was the perfect property for our family reunion. The trout stream, bridge, and large sheltered area attached to the bunkhouse are unique features. Trout stream is beautiful and provides perfect background noise. I think this was the best overall property I have ever rented.

Family Fall Trip

Awesome property on a wonderful stream. The grandkids loved getting in the stream and fishing. The sound of the stream on the porch is soooo relaxing! Even got to see bears which was a treat!

Our Son's Wedding

This home was so close to the resort where we had our son's wedding, only a golf cart ride away.. The owner was always easy to reach and ck in/ck out was a breeze... The river and Pavillion added the right touch to the celebration where 3 generations and friends came together for a wonderful time for our son's wedding weekend!

Absolutely Awesome!

Best of Rumbling Bald

We have a large family and have rented multiple properties in Rumbling Bald. This was one is the best! In addition, the amenities of the lake, pool, boating, pickleball, tennis, and golf are hard to match at any competing mountain resort. Great job, Toni!!

Second time staying here

Just overall wonderful property. No issues with anything in the house. The resort is fun for kids and adults. But the kids really enjoyed the actual property anf surrounding grounds. Its a dream for parents who want to see their kids outside exploring nature. My kids immediately asked if we could come back, again! Deinitely recommend this house.

Great stay in a great place

Perfect place for our family of 10. Our children and grandkids enjoyed all of the amenities of Rumbling Bald Resort. But with the beautiful river, falls, wading pools and tree swing we had the best of everything right in our back yard. Went to Chimney Rock, Grandfather Mountain, drove the Blue Ridge Parkway and enjoyed Asheville as well. Thank you Toni for sharing your beautiful home with us. We made memories for a lifetime.

A memorable stay

Clean and comfortable property, with a well-stocked kitchen. The clear highlight was the gushing stream that provides the perfect soundscape. The guest house deck, and swing are a bonus! Wifi was intermittent - which is not unexpected in the mountains. Would rent this again.

Lovely Home

The property was perfect for our family of 10. We utilized both the house and the cabin, which was so great. We were able to hear the stream 24/7. The grandkids enjoyed throwing sticks in the waterfalls and playing in the swimming hole. We rented a golf cart and rode the short distance to the pool and beach area. There were so many nice amenities in Rumbling Bald Resort. We hope to return next year!
