Perfect Riverfront home offers a truly five star accommodations. Your Adirondack get away begins with a private 50 foot waterfront with walk down steps for easy access into the river. Enjoy using the supplied kayaks and row boat on seven miles of clear sparkling Hudson River, flowing fresh water in daily directly from the Sacandaga River. Our private dock is ready for your boats and jet skis to be anchored. New York State Public Boat Launch is located three miles down the road. After a long day of swimming, fishing, and boating, enjoy gas grill, fire pit, and many lawn games.
There are many things to do In Lake Luzerne . You can enjoy restaurants, tubing/rafting, rodeos, horse back riding, golf, hiking, snow mobile trails, and cross country ski trails.
A scenic twenty minute drive will lead you to the heart of either Lake George or Saratoga.

This place is AMAZING! We probably average one rental a year, which might not sound like a lot, but I have to say- this one was THE MOST accommodating/well supplied place EVER. I generally pack all provisions that I think the family might need, and this place is so well stocked, much of it went unopened. So clean, high quality sheets and towels AND indoor and outdoor furniture (and dishware-platters, serving bowls etc). It was beautiful and spacious for our adult children and grandkids to all be together. The river front was a perfect size for all of us, has a reasonable/safe space for 3 kids under 8 (with adult supervision)have kayaks- including a double kayak, a rowboat (although that needs a little "fix") the owners have multiple life jackets in various sizes, floats (we did bring a tethering system-ie a climbing rope-35ft. And some 10 ft outdoor dog ties with clips on both sides to secure the floats- there's is a current and the house is NOT in a No Wake zone, so if you love to"ride waves" you will have plenty.- when we were there, we got the chance to watch a "Christmas in July" boat parade( which came with lights and music). Fire pit was excellent. House was very spacious for all of us. Close to golf courses, mini golf, and the amusement park(Great Escape-Six Flags, PERFECT if you have young kids like us, our rollar coaster enthusiasts also enjoyed and it has a water park- fyi- we thought the one day pass with meals for the day was worth the cost, meals were shareable)
Using the double kayak- excellent steps down to water- but water shoes are helpful with temp/shape of rocks

Bring your firewood, the fire pit is GREAT. (We also brought our own S'mores sticks)
Decorated for our daughter-in-law, whose birthday was day before arrival and rarely gets a "surprise" decoration in her honor-used magnets to not harm the home.

River House stay

We had a terrific stay at the River House! The river view was beautiful, kitchen was fully stocked, the beds were comfortable (even the cots!), and the bathrooms were clean and spacious. Laurie was a responsive host and wonderful to deal with. We especially appreciated her suggestions for dinner in Saratoga Springs. Thanks again for everything, Laurie! We hope to see you next year.

Great weekend!!!

The Riverhouse is a peaceful Adirondack waterfront and Laurie has gone above and beyond with providing everything you need to stay. From the fully loaded kitchen to fishing rods, lake fun gear, closets full of extra bedding/folding beds and games. It was a perfect location to sit back, relax and enjoy the views on after jaunting around the area during our friends b-day celebration weekend. Thank you Laurie for sharing your home! ♥

Tons of fun on the Hudson

Our family had a very enjoyable stay at Laurie’s place. The location on the river is perfect and the availability of multiple kayaks, tubes, floats, etc cannot be underestimated. The house was well stocked and beds were comfortable. Unfortunately the cleaning crew seemed to have taken the week off as the kitchen was not properly cleaned and the house in general only seemed to have received cursory attention. Considering the previous reviews, this doesn’t seem to be the norm. Communication was great and overall we had a great time.

The perfect getaway

Our party of 7 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this riverfront house. The house had everything we could possibly need from yard games, floats, life jackets and boats outside to kitchen supplies and comfy beds inside. We all loved the direct water access and dock during the day and lovely fire pit area at night. The yard has plenty of shade to keep you cool during the hot sunny days. The owner was very friendly and helpful before our stay. We all can’t wait to book our next visit here!

Very Peaceful and Relaxing

Staying at a new place you are always a little unknowing. We were surprised to see how big the interior was an d very clean. The outside was very nice, enjoyed just sitting and watching the river floe by. Was a hit with us. Will do again.

A lovely time by the river

Had a delightful weekend here. The house is very clean and cared for, well-stocked and welcoming. The fire pit was a big hit (you need to provide your own firewood, but there's a 24-hour supplier available a mile down the road). There are several kayaks, including a double one that was great for taking a younger kid out on the Hudson. Not a secluded place – there are several adjacent properties with just a fence between the yards – but quiet and pleasant nonetheless. Would gladly stay here again.

Peaceful Property

Awesome house and property! The house had everything we needed for our group of 7. We had plenty of room. There were tons of towels, blankets, pillows and the kitchen had everything you can think of. The shed had plenty of outdoor games, beach chairs, kayaks. Fire pit area with nice view of the river. We loved fishing every morning and evening. The kids enjoyed swimming in the river. The neighbors are super nice and friendly, they gave the kids feed for the ducks. Prefect location between Lake George and Saratoga. I can’t say enough good things about this property. We will be back.

The house had 3 very comfy queen size beds n bedrooms. And also 2 folding beds. Our group were 6 and we had a lot of space to lounge. They had everything for us to cook with including bbq n fire pit in the back. We were also only 10-15mins away from activities at lake George. We all agreed we would definitely go back.😄

Perfect Getaway!

Lovely, clean, comfortable and peaceful home. Was just what I was expecting based on the pictures provided in the listing. Everything we needed for fun both inside and outdoors was available for use, including life jackets and water shoes in all sizes, fishing poles and kayaks, and plenty of fun board games. Gorgeous views of the river from the home’s large windows and yard. Quiet neighborhood and friendly neighbors. Two of the beds did have a slight dip in the middle of them but we got used to it after one night. Everything else was excellent - including the AC. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality and for sharing your home!

Absolutely Fantastic

Vacationed with family(ages 7-91). We throughly enjoyed our stay. Home provided everything we needed for our summer vacation. All on the property- We went swimming, kayaking, fishing had campfireS, toasted marshmallows, bbq’d. Had dinners outside as well as inside. Had game night at dining room table -extremely Comfortable seating. AC worked great too!! We also went mini-golf, Lake George village for arcade and shopping , Bolton Landing for shopping, opening day at Saratoga race track as well as the casino. All close by!! Home was well equipped and comfortable. Laurie-Thank you for sharing your home with my family!!

Just absolutely perfect!

This place is absolutely perfect. We had a great host! Upon our arrival we were given a bottle of wine and a s’mores kit! Laurie was great at getting back to us if we had any questions. The house was very clean and the decor is absolutely beautiful. The beds were comfortable and the house was stocked with essentials. Just bring your food and beverages and you are all set. Oh and bring fire wood or you can buy it at a local place off the main road not even 2 miles up the road. There is and the rail trail, tubing, convenient stores, pizza shop, hardware and liquor store in walking distance. Laurie neighbors were great and offered to help us blow up our tubes. Overall, we would love to come back. We just fell in love with this place! Thank you Laurie for being a great host!

Beautiful home for a beautiful time with family

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The property is extremely well taken care of and had everything we needed. Everything you could ever think of was located in the kitchen. The walk to the water front is very short. The neighbors are very friendly. The only downside we had was the first night, there was a power outage and it took out the electricity and cell service. Luckily the owner had a ton of flashlights and candles available for us to use. The owner was quick to answer my messages when the power went out and contacted con Ed for us. After we got our electricity back on it was smooth sailing. I would highly recommend this house to anyone and I plan on booking again in the future.
