"This was a highlight of my trip to India. Fifu is such a kind and generous man, not to mention so helpful with coordinating a camel safari and transportation at the best price. The whole staff at the hotel was so hardworking. The rooftop restaurant had a great view with excellent food. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone. "

"L’hotel è gestito da un indiano che ha sposato una spagnola e il suo gusto nell’’arredamento si vede in tutto l’hotel, veramente molto carino mantenendo fede allo stile indiano. Abbiamo anche cenato sulla terrazza dell’hotel con vista del forte prendendo un pollo al limone non piccante perfetto dopo tanti giorni di cucina speziata. Anche la pulizia è ai livelli europei, una rarità in India. Unica pecca la stradina per arrivarci ma siamo in India e le strade sono queste. "

"The Marina Mahal is a great value option close to the centre of Jaisalmer. Akbar and Marina are a delightful Indian/New Zealand couple who are extremely hospitable and who do everything to make your stay memorable. They can arrange a brilliant trip into the desert. The vegetarian food in the rooftop restaurant is excellent and the views are stunning. Rooms are comfortable with AC, reliable hot water and free WiFi and the whole place exudes local atmosphere. "This hotel was incredible. The room was a comfortable size, beautifully decorated. The bed and pillows were so comfy. They decorated it in rose petals and balloons for my birthday as a driving surprise ( after my partner asked them) The outside of the building was so intricately decorated in carved sandstone. "Loved my stay at here—completely overdelivered for the price. New property, beautifully maintained. Fantastic location, a 5 minute walk from the fort entrance. Gorgeous rooftop area with the best views in town. Lovely, attentive staff. Helped me upgrade easily when a room became available. They don’t have a traditional restaurant, but the food they had was very good. Only quibble was that the pool wasn’t quite clean enough to swim in. Otherwise, great stay."

"Bad front desk service; extremely slow to carry out a simple task. Food isn’t great - they should be able to get a good chef and cook more appealing meals given that the hotel is in the middle of Rajasthan. Comfy room but location is poor, staff are badly-trained and not interested in being helpful or doing anything at all above the bare minimum. Stayed here last-minute and would only advise booking if you have to do the same. "

"Staff is very average and not the warm kinds (which is very unusual in hospitality industry). The staff was evidently pushing tasks from one department to another. Seemed like they want to make money on every given instance- baby food was also chargeable, which is not chargeable at every Hotel, wherever we have stayed earlier. Food is very basic."
