Waterfront Lakeside Mansion Great for Large Families, Retreat, and Events

Welcome to the Lakeside Mansion, a 1.5 acre waterfront oasis situated right on Lake Elsinore in sunny Southern California with its own gated, private, sandy, water front beach with private launch ramp. This Mediterranean Villa is centrally located between LA, Orange County, San Diego and Big Bear Mountain. This is a very rare property that allows events!

The area is known for wineries, motor sports & great antique shopping!

THE SPACE

The Lakeside Mansion is separated into 3 sections, the Main House, Bunk House and Guest House. It allows small group to use the Main House only at the advertised price of $2000/night but gives bigger groups option to rent the Bunk House and Guest House for an additional charge.

The 6500 sq ft Main House sleeps 18.

For more beds, we have two 750 Sq ft "Bunk House" each with 6 bunk beds for an additional 12 beds per bunk house. Each "Bunk House" can be accessed for an additional $500/night + $150/stay cleaning fee.

Cook for your large group in the entertainers kitchen with a 22' island, two sinks, and a large walk in pantry.

The master bedroom in the Main House is located upstairs on its own wing with an impressive bathroom with a steam shower, jetted tub and walk in closet. The master also offers its own private covered patio to take in the exceptional views of the lake and mountains.

Relax and have fun in the large game room that includes a ping pong table, pool table, fridge with wet bar, a piano and lots of fun games. The large laundry room has an extra large washer and dryer to tackle all the dirty clothes that comes with the fun your party has.

The house has 2 50" TV's and 2 30" TV's with Netflix and Hulu.

The spacious open family room has 30 ft ceilings and plenty of room for your whole party.

The outdoor deck and balconies all have water views and boast a fire pit, large outdoor dining table & lounge chairs & outdoor TV's.

There is a small gym in the house so you can keep up on your workouts even on a rainy day! Guests 18 and over only.

THE GROUNDS

In the front is a beautiful garden and behind the house is a fenced in lawn overlooking the sprawling sandy beach with a volleyball net & tetherball. There is a private boat launch.

We provide kayaks and S.U.P. boards for fun on the lake, an outdoor glass BBQ, plenty of seating for lounging and dining.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancel any time. We will refund what we are able to earn in rent if we rebook your dates minus a $150 admin fee. Cleaning and taxes are always 100% refunded.

Have fun!

No smoking inside house, this includes vaping and marijuana

No Pets

All music outside must be turned off at 10pm, this is a city ordinance

Please do not leave kayaks, paddle boards or anything from the property on the shore or by the lake, bring back all these items from the shore to under deck of the house

Please do not use the neighbors Dock

Please do not cross the no trespassing lines on his property

Please do not leave dishes in the bedrooms (we would rather you not eat in the bedrooms)

Please do not leave dishes scattered across the house, this includes outside too

Please gather up ping pong balls and pool balls, put back in place

If you use the BBQ please clean it after use and be sure gas is off

Please clean up before you leave, gather up all bedding (sheets/blankets) towels and put in laundry room, if furniture was moved please put it back, please place all dishes in dish washer and start it. Place trash in the trash dispenser. All trash should be out of house and in trash cans outside.

Please leave the property in the manner as when you arrived, neat and tidy

Failure to comply to rules listed above will result in us keeping A PORTION OR ALL OF your Security Deposit

Muslim sisters retreat

Loved the lakeside mansion for our Muslim women's retreat! It was private and spacious and clean! Only thing was, the fan remote had been lost so it was cold in the living room and some of the beds made some noise but other than that, great experience!

"Regal Venue with Exceptional Service – Highly Recommended!" Regal Venue with Exceptional Service!

We had an amazing experience at this property. The space was enormous and regal, offering the perfect setting for our event. The view of the lake, especially during the sunrise, was breathless! The property manager, Daniel, was incredibly responsive and helpful, promptly answering our numerous questions. The highlight of the experience was Daniel's outstanding assistance when we accidentally left a bag behind—he went above and beyond to ensure we got it back. We had a fantastic time and highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a seamless and enjoyable stay.

Perfect getaway for large group

Beautiful location. Hosts are easy to communicate with. Well stocked with extra sheets, towels and blankets. It was nice having the outdoor lake items. Definitely a 5-Star stay.

Great for large groups

Great property for large groups, especially with the bunkhouse. Great view of the lake with a nice backyard and big porch for hanging out. Furniture and decor is a little dated but in relatively good condition.

Wonderful for our family vacation

The property was Ideal for my large family, very clean, kept us very comfortable during the extreme heat wave.It is well stocked with plenty of towels, pillows. The kitchen is well equipt for large groups. We enjoyed the game room and had our family pool and ping pong tournaments.The lake with the kayaks and paddle boards were enjoyed by all ages, This was our 2nd year and hopefully we will have a third.

Professional Retreat

Everything was perfect. We had a lovely time and stay. We did have a weird encounter with a random person pulling up to our property from the lake asking to use our ramp, but other than that everything was perfect

Perfect for large group & events

This is our second year using this location for our leadership retreat. It is great for large groups. Has plenty of beach toys and outdoor fun, sleeps all of us, has a large kitchen and plenty of cooking/kitchen supplies. We love this location and highly recommend!

Wonderful place!!

We loved the property. Lynnette was an excellent manager. She was very understanding and courteous. I also had a good feeling about the owner although I never met him. They were well organized. The only suggestion is that I wished that they had shower gel/shampoo. Didn’t realize that they didn’t carry it until I had hopped in the shower :). But other than that, we had the best times of our lives!! Great place for any events or water activities. We had a blast!!

2022 Youth Retreat

This was our second time at the property and it was AMAZING! We have used other locations in the past but this one is special. What you see is what you get. It’s a beautiful home and a must stay to make great memorys.

Great Place to Host a Large Group

To summarize our stay, this venue is a fantastic fit for hosting large groups. It's very spacious and built to accommodate a large crowd with ease. Pros: Plenty of sleeping space (massive bunk rooms). Plenty of seating throughout the mansion (tables and chairs). Great layout that accommodates a comfortable stay for dozens without feeling the least bit crowded. Gorgeous view of the water. Fun game room. Lots of room for parking. Spacious lawn and beach. Private feel. Large televisions. Massive, comfortable couch. Responsive management. Just a few cons from our stay. Most of these are quite minor: When we arrived there was a considerable amount of trash leftover from the previous tenants and some general messes that weren't cleaned up. One of the slider screens was also broken. When it came to the kitchen, the stove was missing its main burner, one of the two coffee makers was broken, and while there were two ovens they were both a bit smaller than typical ovens, so if someone were to trying to cook a meal for a larger group and needed to use the ovens, it could be difficult to time it all out correctly. All that said, we informed the manager on many of these and they were thankful to hear these things, responsive to us, and apologetic, which we were grateful for. Of course, this is a very large place and so maintaining it is a large undertaking, but the ownership and management really seem to care about doing a great job. Overall, this place would easily meet the need for hosting a large group comfortably.

Family Retreat/Getaway

THis property was great for our get away, and communication with Lynette was amazing. We had 25 people all 18 and up stay for our family getaway. From my 85 year old mo, to my 18 year old niece. Everyone enjoyed it. Although we were there in the rain, there was enough to do in the house that made the stay great. The pool table, and ping pong table were used a great deal. We even held a Chopped Family style with 4 cooks in the kitchen and the kitchen had plenty of room! Thanks for a memorable trip Lynette and team! We might need to make it an annual event!

Great big home...with deficiencies...

I just finished a family reunion at the Lakeside Mansion and the home offered a lot of what we needed to have a successful reunion. It is huge, it is beautiful, and it comes with plenty of amenities. However, this house recently changed ownership & the house/owners aren't honestly prepared for the ways the house is used. We planned to arrive on Wednesday night. I had to message the owner via the app after check in time to obtain check in instructions. He informed me that the property manager would be there to let us in & show us the property but only until 4:30. Most of us weren't available until closer to 5:00 so that didn't work (he then gave us the entry code). After arriving that evening, there were 40+ of us, we had the inevitable issues that arise with a large group and a large house, nothing major, but several important concerns. I reached out to the owner via the VRBO app & to the property manager via a phone # left in the instructions at the house. I received NO response & followed up the following morning. I discovered that the property manager was unavailable after 5:00, which if check in is 4:00 is completely unacceptable. Eventually I was able to communicate directly with the owner via text and communication issues were resolved. From there the house generally pleased me & my family. There are plenty of small issues from some door locks not working, to holes in walls/doors, to issues with the stove malfunctioning (although my handyman bro-in-law was able to fix it). Honestly just a lot of small things that would be common in a house of that size after years of not being properly maintained. When I asked the owner about issues to fix, he WAS very responsive and worked to take care of it. That said, when spending thousands of dollars on a rental home, I don't love playing the role of maintenance coordinator. Despite these issues, my family had a great time at the house and upon leaving we agreed we would rent it again if given the opportunity. Hopefully this new owner will be able to get all the issues taken care of and fixed in the near future.

Perfect for large group & events

We had an amazing weekend at this property with a group of almost 50 of us. It fit all of us comfortably, was cool, clean, and just perfect for us. Manager was great and everything we needed for a fun weekend was there (kayaks, volleyballs, corn holes, large kitchen with everything we needed to cook and serve meals). Highly recommend for large groups. It is right on the lake so bring bug spray and sun block. We would love to go back to this location once a year if possible! Love, love love.

Great family vacation

The property was all that it was advertised as. Wonderful for large groups. We had a wonderful time. Would highly recommend it for large groups and families. Everyone enjoyed it even the teenagers had fun. It was well stocked and extremely comfortable for all.

Wonderful memories to last…great experience..love it

Wonderful experience!!. We were about 38 people including adults and kids including teenagers. The house was kept clean, and all the towels, linens and pillows were plenty. The rooms and bunk beds were plenty. Kids had fun and we had memories to last…The kayaks, volleyball, chairs…were all in the property and we had great time in the lake. Jeff and Lynette were very responsive and we would live to come back sometime in the future. I have few recommendations to the property owner… 1. Little bit of renovation on the bathrooms with locks and flooring would be helpful. 2. Jet Skies, Pontoon boats at the property would be awesome… Such a great property and Jeff and Lynette were awesome host. Can’t wait to come back again…

Mansion with ants and spiders

The property has a to die for view and a more that you can hope for lake front property. The home is wonderful. The upkeep is less than desirable. It is under new management so hopefully they will be able to deal with the ants and spiders. The beds were comfortable and anything you need is there. Just hard to find. Plenty of TP and paper and beach towels. It was very misleading because there were so many garages shown in the pictures but none of them were available so our cars had to sit in the heat. The furniture was comfortable and well decorated. The ice maker and water didn't work. We had 8 families there and there was plenty of room for all of us. We had a wonderful time there and loved that the new owners even came and visited for the 4th of July. We are so grateful they let us keep our reservation as the house was sold.

Family reunion at Lake Elsinore.

Property was beautiful. We never saw or spoke to the property manager which was unfortunate as we would have liked to have rented some of the amenties mentioned in the ad. We also had some issues we would liked to resolve hence the lower overall rating. I believe this to be because of the ownership transfer. To bad, this could have been a much nicer vacation. It was still enjoyable and we had great fun visiting many of the sites in southern California. This property has great potential and is well worth investigating , especially if you have a large group.

Great Lake Property

Great house for our family reunion with plenty of space and things to do. Some cosmetic and simple home improvements can be done, i.e. no toilet paper dispensers, screws missing on 2 toilet seats, more paddles for all the kayaks they have, could have nicer pool cue stick and ping pong paddles, and we weren’t sure how to turn on 2 of the fans…but overall a perfect house for large groups. Owner was quick to respond to our concerns both prior and during the trip. Would definitely think about returning again.

Lakehouse family vacation

We loved this vacation lakehouse. We came with a full family of 32. There was plenty of room that we did not feel crowded. The lakehouse location was perfect with its own private boating launch and private beach. Enjoyed plenty of lake activities. Thank you to the management team for the ease of our stay.
