Parc del Llac Conroe

Been staying here for a while and the location is on the decline. Rooms always have an odor, ice machine not working. Gotta have a suite for a microwave when that used to not be the case a while back. Pricing is fair, location in good but i can also get this + elsewhere now.

The property was well kept. Most staff and service were good. There was a lady on duty when I checked in that I found rude and insensitive. Unfortunately I was there to bury my daughter. Due to last minute planning and arrangements I forgot about incidentals and did not have the card that reservations were made with. Long story short, she was unwilling to accept card from reservationist who wasn’t present or accept cash from me. I certainly didn’t need the stress on this occasion. Learned a valuable lesson and also to never book with a Sonesta ever again!
