Bunkhouse Farm Stay

Bring the kids, visit the beautiful Florida Springs, and enjoy staying in a peaceful, cozy farm bunkhouse. Have a rest on the front porch rocking chairs or enjoy connecting with farm way of life while relaxing in the barn themed living room. This renovated goat barn boasts of exposed beams, tin ceilings and chic farm decor. While staying with us you can enjoy visiting with the animals, maybe meet our 2 newest babies and gather some fresh eggs for your breakfast! We are located at a very central area to many parks and springs. We’re also located about 40 minutes from the University of Florida, so come for a game, but stay out of the hustle and bustle of Gainesville. We are located approximately 10 minutes off Interstate 75 and less than 10 minutes from the All-Tech Racetrack so if you are just passing through we are a good 2 night option for weary travelers or a race fan who wants a little distance from the hustle and bustle of the crowd. Couples needing a weekend getaway have enjoyed the comfy cabin feel and the local “rural Florida” exploration.

Our hosts went above and beyond to decorate for us for Christmas. They were very nice and helpful. They put a hay bale right next to the house so we could see the horses and pet them. Generally an amazing experience. The house was comfortable and cozy! We will definitely be back!

This was my fourth stay. I love this place! The hosts are amazing. My favorite is the fire pit and sitting on the porch watching the kids ride horses. Fully equipped with all you need, comfy beds and plenty of linens. Thanks for making this available.

Beautiful property, barn and horses. The Bunkhouse is well equipped, clean and comfortable beds. Due to limited street lights the nights are really dark so the night sky is gorgeous.We will definitely stay here again when visiting family and springs. Thank you

The bunkhouse was very cozy. There was a cute farm kitty that came and greeted us every morning, we fed the supplied treats and catnip.We loved that the kitchen was supplied with items(thermal lunch bag, iceboxes, to go coffee mugs, and refillable water bottles) we were able to use on our outings to the springs.

For any reason or no reason at all the Bunk House is a great place to get a way or stay. Clean, quiet, with beautiful views of the farm and animals. Great communication with your host and excellent local knowledge of restaurants and attractions. She bribed us for this fantastic review giving us a dozen fresh eggs her chickens laid just for us. We fed them CheesIts. Best we can tell you is we want to come back. Thanks for a great stay, … and the eggs.

This wholesome ranch over exceeded our expectations! In addition to exceptional cleanliness and a fully equipped home (for 6), the grounds offer a different perspective on living - compared to our city life. Watching the animals during our morning coffee and throughout our stay was mesmerizing! Janie and her family went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. It is definitely a home that will stay imbedded in our core memories forever.

Freedom day stay at a farm

Great secluded country setting. Plenty of room and very comfortable for 4 adults.Was perfect for our needs.Host was very gracious and accommodating!Note that the driveway is not paved and farm animals are nearby.Expect we will return for future stays as it is very handy for visiting several state parks.

Peace & Quiet & Springs & Birds

Heading up to Ft. White to enjoy the springs in the area for my daughter’s birthday weekend. From the moment we arrived till the moment we left every second at the Bunk House was wonderful! Super quiet, super clean, super comfortable!! Everything you need is there and the decor is farmhouse country and very welcoming and cozy. Out in the country and away from crowds…just what we needed!! A truly lovely spot and I highly recommend it if you are looking for peace & quiet in a beautiful area of north Florida! Nearby Ichnetucknee Springs was absolutely beautiful…we kayaked there and felt like an amazing slice of heaven! We enjoyed the birds and the local kitties that visited us outside before we left! Thank you to the hosts for providing a truly special place for us to spend the weekend celebrating my daughter’s birthday!!

Amazing stay

We loved our time spent here, the house was clean and the farm was beautiful. The owner came and welcomed us the morning after we arrived and brought us fresh eggs for breakfast. The house is stocked with anything you need and is 20ish minutes from the springs.

Hidden getaway

Stayed for a long weekend with my son for the NHRA in Gainesville. We’re FL locals but this was a great change of pace from the city. Not far from I75 to get you to and from places but far enough away at the same time. The Bunk House is by itself away from the main houses on the property so it was very private. It’s an old converted place but upon entering, you get the whole vibe in a VERY clean and well decorated quaint place. Smells nice, and the character was charming. Don’t hesitate to book this. Very reasonable too.
