KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

→ Consumables: plan on bringing paper towels, toilet paper, soaps, laundry detergent, spices, etc.
→ Propane: check tank upon arrival. We will reimburse you if you fill up or exchange. Locklin's Bottled Gas in Hamlin or Dollar General are the best options.
→ Small items: light bulbs, batteries, etc…we do not stock, but will reimburse you if you purchase during your stay.
→ Summer Pests: if you notice any activity call or text us so we can relay the information to our pest control service.

✓ Summer bookings for weeklong only. Saturday-Saturday.

➨ Please remember that you’re staying in a house in a community with neighbors. Please be respectful.
➨ The community and our neighbors have cameras up and will report you if you don’t follow the community rules. Here are some things that have caused violations in the past:
★ All dogs must be kept on a leash.
★ Do not go onto neighbor’s property (our neighbors are awesome, until this happens).
★ No street parking.
★ Keep the noise level down.
★ No fireworks.

★★ Because we’re located in a rural area, please be patient if things need to be addressed. We live 2 ½ hours away and will do our best to fix any issues that may arise, but sometimes it takes a little time to get people to attend to things.

The cabin is just what we had hoped for. Cute, nestled in nature with a beautiful lake front view. The community is perfect for couples or families. Quiet and serene, the perfect getaway!

We had a lovely time staying Christine and Shawn’s home. The amenities within the community are great. Hawley is a 15 minute drive away and has a great small town feel with loads of antique shops. There are some good hikes near by and the lake is beautiful. We had trouble trying to fit everything into one weekend. The house is clean and cozy and Shawn and Christine send you loads of info and recommendations making the trip easy and enjoyable

Wonderful house. Hot tub was great. Clean and organized. Games for kids. Record player was great. Alexa helped to ask some questions about the area. On the lake. Beautiful view. Host was accessible. The only tough part was trying to find the dumpster to throw out the trash. You have to drive for this.

I booked this place for a weekend and that was my only mistake. This place was fantastic. Hot tub overlooking the lake. A trail around the lake right outside your front door. Hulu live TV which was a great addition since I stayed Super Bowl weekend. And so much more! I went to have a quiet birthday weekend with my pup and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. I got snowed in my second day there but even then I was able to make a day out of it. Getting in was so easy and everything is house was clean and neat. It really felt like I owned the cabin for the weekend. I didn’t have to ask for one thing, everything was prepared for my stay perfectly. Even if I did have to ask, communication was open at all times from booking to staying. Shawn was amazing!I can’t wait to book again during a warmer elongated week!

We had such a time playing games and listening to old records. I loved being able to have my fur babies with us. Beautiful way to bring in the new year. The jacuzzi was hot and felt fabulous! Will definitely be back in the warmer months!!

My partner and I stayed for three nights. Overall everything was great - communication with the owner was amazing, making for a seamless arrival/departure process. The house was exactly what we were looking for, and their openness to dogs made it a perfect fit for us and our 6-month old puppy. Overall one of the best poconos houses we’ve stayed at!

This was a perfect getaway. Away from the city, which a nice view to a lake. The owner was attentive. House had everything we needed. And more. It was just a peaceful home and cozy. The jacuzzi over looking the lake was a highlight.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is beautiful, just as the pictures, and location is perfect. Beach is walk distance. Communication with owner, checking in and checking out was smoothly. I would definitely stay again. Things to improve on: the backyard needs maintenance we couldn’t use the canoe because the way to go into the water was obstructed; there should be extra garbage bags, I understand that renters take advantage but at minimum an extra 3-5 bags would do the job.

Overall stay was ok. Found this place to be unkempt. The listing says “luxury” but that turned out to be an underwhelming expectation. View from master bedroom upstairs, electric fireplace and kitchen were the best parts of this rental property.

My family and I had a great time at the fountain house! The location was great as my teenage kids could easily walk to the pool on their own. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and the views from the deck. We were not able to find carts to bring the kayaks down to the lake but we were able to fit one in our SUV and drive it down. My wife had a great time kayaking around Deer Lake. Also have never seen so many deer so close! Overall great trip!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this lake house. The house is very nice and the view from the deck is gorgeous! The beds were comfy and they had lots of neat touches inside the house like a record player, a huge tv, and tons of games. It's located in a great community that has so many fun amenities (lake, indoor/outdoor pools, gym, small game room, tennis courts to name a few). It's also not too far of a drive from good restaurants (John's) and stores (Weis Supermarket, Dollar Tree, CVS). The owners were wonderful so easy to contact and quick to respond. Overall, we loved the place and would definitely stay there again!

Tranquility is the only way to describe this property. Peaceful and quiet. Every morning (and some nights) I would sit on the deck and watch the deer and listen to the fountain in the middle of the pond. Great things to do in the area for couples or families (Bushkill Falls). Shawn was a great host! My car died and was towed to a dealership 50 minutes away. Shawn offered to bring us to a car rental place at the airport! We gratefully said yes and had great conversation the whole ride. If you're a couple, definitely sleep in the loft (great views of the lake) or if you're a family, the kids can sleep there ( has an extra living room up there with a gaming system). Besides the car issues, it was the vacation we needed. We can't wait to go back, hopefully yearly.

Our family really enjoyed our stay. House was clean and the open floor plan made it roomy enough for all 7 of us. Beautiful view from the porch and great swimming pool right up the street. Community has great activities (we particularly enjoyed the ceramics) and everyone was very nice. Host responded promptly when we messaged. Overall a great place to vacation!
