If you'd like to treat yourself to a grilled meal, use the shared gas grills in the pool area. The shared outdoor pool is a great perk you and your friends will have access to during your stay; there's even an outdoor shower by the pool so you can rinse off after spending some time there.

    Beachgoers will have the time of their life thanks to this location. Less than half a mile away is Pohaku Park where they can swim and surf to their heart's content. It also has three picnic tables and two BBQ grills in case you'd like to plan an entertaining picnic after swimming. A four-mile drive south brings you to the highly-rated Ka'anapali Beach and Black Rock, one of the best snorkeling spots in all of Maui. We know cooking isn't everyone's forte, but there's no need to worry as you'll be surrounded by great local restaurants such as China Boat, classic McDonald's, Miso Phat Sushi, and Dollie's Pub & Café. Many locals agree that the best way to experience sunsets in Hawaii is from the water–you can book a cruise that departs from Lahaina Harbor, which is seven and a half miles away.

Very spacious, amazing view

We loved waking up to the full windows that looked over the ocean. We would make our morning kona coffees and sit on the lanai and watch the whales. Just beautiful.

Beautiful view and excellent customer service

The view was amazing! All amenities were provided. Had to reach out to Vacasa due to construction noise coming from unit directly above and was impressed by swift response and ultimate resolution. Will definitely stay again and recommend this vacation rental.

Functional but a little dated

The unit met our needs with good view from the living room area. Nice beach in front. We appreciated the multiple appliances that came with the unit. Master bed was too soft and the unit needs a new set of cutlery. A good deep clean of carpet areas would be beneficial.

Great unit, awesome visit, Vacasa is just ok

Everything about the unit was as advertised better. There were some comments about cleanliness in the recent past but either it’s been fixed completely or was overblown in the first place. We would re-book. We have stayed in 5 or 6 units at Valley Isle and this is a fantastic example. It’s our favorite complex on Maui and we look forward to going back. Vacasa while I’m certain they’re responsible for the good experience as much as the issues did fall down in checkin: The elevators were completely out for a few hours and while not the fault of vacasa, they offered no options for us. Alternative units, communication with the building on our behalf, even updates as to when it was rectified. I contacted them directly and asked for help - they offered apologies and promised to be in touch. We got in on our own and then the next day Vacasa responded as though they didn’t know anything about it. So like i said, annoying but not overly impactful. But when you look at the fees associated with booking with them, you do wonder what it gets you when you can also book similar units directly with owners.

ROACH INFESTATION

We checked-in in the evening and went straight to bed. The next day we got up and out quickly, but when we came back to the unit in the evening, we noticed 3 or more baby roaches in the sink. Then, we opened a drawer and saw adult roaches. We tried to sleep but were concerned about the pests. In the middle of the night, we came into the kitchen again and turned the lights on and there were 10+ roaches on the sponge and around the sink. We then went to the bathroom and turned the lights on and saw another 10+ roaches around the sink and our toiletries. We knew then that this was an infestation and not just one or two bugs. While I know roaches are a fact of life on Maui, I also know that buildings are sprayed regularly for pests and if a particular owner or renter declines pest treatment, an infestation can happen. We contacted Vacasa, the rental company, to either get our money back so we could go somewhere else immediately or have them move us to a building where they knew the unit had been sprayed recently. The process dealing with the company was terrible. We were on the phone and unhoused for at least half a day, cutting into our vacation time, and forcing us to simply sit in the car or a cafe nearby to wait until we heard back from them. I spoke to several different agents and consistently got disconnected from them, through no fault of my cell reception, and the agents didn't call back to finish the call. I had to keep calling and starting over. We were finally moved to another building where the unit was great, but again Vacasa was terrible. The unit wasn't clean when we arrived, so we had to stay in our car longer. Ultimately, I was told that a manager would call me back to compensate me for all of the issues. We checked out 3 days ago and I still haven't heard from a manager to get some sort of partial refund for the pest problem.

Roach Resort!

Well, sad to say what we loved was not in your condo. The 1 star was given for the ocean view from the balcony. The condo itself was a 0 and definitely will never rent a condo from VACASA again. You pride yourself in taking care of your customers, you failed us and should not be allowed to rent this roach infested condo. We had been planning this family vacation to "Maui" for over a year. Never imagined we would have to deal with spraying for bugs ourselves w/insecticide we purchased, had to wash each dish used because roaches were in cabinets, dishwasher, drawers and refrigerator. "DISGUSTING" This added stress to all of us and took time away from our family outings. When we 1st spoke to you about this problem you ensured us that it would be addressed with the appropriate person who will take care of this. We kept getting the run around with promises of our satisfaction is top priority. We text stating we wanted a refund and would go elsewhere and would report this to Hawaii Health Dept. We were there from Saturday to Saturday. Last text from your company was on Tuesday late afternoon promising that our issue was assigned to a local staff who is currently working on this and asked for our patience. Never heard from anyone and our calls went straight to voicemail. We even sent pictures of the roaches throughout the condo. What was sad is that you knew there was a problem but stated this was the first of hearing about it; however, there were roach baits placed throughout the condo. This was such a problem we had to keep all food including boxed goods in the refrigerator. Our kids slept with the lights on afraid of what might crawl on them. We definitely will be letting our friends and family know not to rent from VACASA! The property was eventually sprayed by the resort itself and not for roaches but ants. Another disappointment but not surprised. Thanks for nothing you flat out didn't CARE!

Great spot near beach

Loved this spot! Great view, awesome location, comfortable Beachy feel. No a/c but not really needed. There was a great constant breeze and was very cool for it being so warm. Turtles everywhere in the water.

Excellent views

We enjoyed our stay here. Excellent views for watching the sunset. Walking distance to some restaurants, convenience and liquor stores, snorkel rental. No air conditioning, but you can keep the place cool by opening the front and lanai doors (both have retractable screens to keep bugs away). TV in living room and bedroom for entertainment. We appreciated the washer & dryer for our 11 day stay. Mahalo for the great stay!

It was a good stay while I was their. The place has NO A/C. If you run hot at night this may not be the place for you. Definitely spent more than a few nights drenched in sweat. Not the best place to bring your plus 1. Great view though.

Lovely Beachfront Getaway

This 1bed/1bath was the perfect Hawaii getaway. The balcony overlooking the beach and ocean was perfect for romantic sunset dinners. The warm breeze fills the place with fresh air. We were also pleasantly surprised to find beach chairs beach umbrellas and snorkel equipment in the closet! Absolutely recommend staying here. Location is also perfect, many beaches close by and snorkeling at Honolua Bay just 15min drive away.

Girls Trip

We had a fabulous time in unit 605, the views are totally amazing, better than the photos! The murphy bed in the living room was wonderful to fall asleep to the ocean waves & breeze & waking up to a breath taking view on top of all of that! The condo is nicely appointed but we honestly never spent much time inside, we were always on the balcony taking in the beautiful peaceful view!
