This villa is an interesting stay of mostly pros but some cons. First and foremost the views on both stories are spectacular. Pure joy to look out all day long. The mattresses are good, the bathrooms are great. Two sitting areas and a table for 6. Front door has the walkway so no stairs getting in and out every time. But...if it matters to you the wrap around lanai is narrow. No eating out there together. The upstairs is accessed by a spiral staircase, mobility impaired wouldn't like it. Plus and this is a big con, the upstairs master is open to the first story (loft like) essentially no noise privacy. You can carry on a conversation with someone upstairs in a normal voice from the main dining room. Better be very close to another couple if your sharing. Main bedroom two double beds FYI. Kitchen is sparse with amenities but workable. Still haven't decided whether the unbelievable view and other pros out weighs the cons.

Unbeatable location and great condo

Kapalua is the best location on Maui and this unit is just about in the perfect spot at Kapalua. Short walk to a great beach for boogie boarding, and a short shuttle ride to Kapalua Bay Beach for snorkeling. Quiet area with a nice pool. The condo is extremely well appointed with excellent washer dryer (not always the case!) and nice kitchen. Rooms are large and beds are comfy. Absolutely top notch across the board.

Great location!

Great location within walking distance to Kapalua Bay and the pool. Easy drive to Lahaina, Kaanapali, honolua, and the blow hole. The condo is spacious, and the staff is very responsive.

Heavenly Views

This location was perfect. The views of the ocean are priceless from both floors. The place was nicely sized for my family of 5. Our ten year old daughter slept on the pull out couch in the master bedroom while our teenage boys shared the second bedroom with two beds. Plenty of bathrooms with showers. Access to beach was simple. Oneloa beach is one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. Private, clean sand, crystal clear water, and great waves to play in! Took us a couple days to find the Honolua market near the Ritz. Once we did, we were there daily for snacks, lunch to go, or breakfast. Snorkeling at the nearby Kapalua beach was fantastic. And, we even cliff jumped by the cliff house which was easily found down the path near the beach.

Big condo, amazing views

We loved our time in Maui and this condo was perfect for our family. The views are absolutely astounding! The walk down to the beach was easy and having beach chairs and towels was so convenient. Kapalua is such a nice area.

Really nice place. The 11:00 checkout was an hour too early and the 3:00 check in was an hour too late. Understand you need to clean the units but a little flexibility would have made the experience much better. Thanks.

Great Property, Great Views, Good Location

This is a very nice condo. The description of the views was very accurate. Panoramic ocean views from the common areas and even better from the master loft. The master has a nice size patio with chairs, a little table, and awesome views. There is a pretty narrow wrap-around lanai on the lower level but you will probably not spend much time out there other than to take a picture. The unit has a lot of space overall and a ton of sleeping accommodations. There is a king in the master, 2 queens in downstairs BR, and additionally 3 queen sleeper sofas. Three three-quarter bathrooms is hard to beat in a property this size. The showers were spacious and nicely appointed. There was adequate kitchenware.The washer and dryer are small so it takes several loads to do the beach towels, etc. There were some ants but that is Hawaii. We took out the trash nightly and treated the entry points with the supplied Raid and it was no big deal. The nearest pool is nice and has great ocean views, but it was closed for maintenance during our week. However, the complex has other pools that are still close. The Kapalua Bay beach is nice but it was always very windy to the point that a beach umbrella was unusable. The blowing sand actually stung and blew into ears, eyes, noses, etc. This is not the fault of the property, it is a very beautiful area. Just be aware. Geographically, the property is about a 15 minute drive to Kaanapali Beach. There is a full size grocery 5 minutes away in the Napili plaza, open until 11 pm. There are not a lot of restaurants close but again, there are more in Kaanapali. Overall, I was very happy with this unit and would certainly consider coming back again if we are able.

a vacation home should be

It is a wonderful vacation house for a large family staying in Kapalua area. Except a small issue with the toilet flush valve in the guest bathroom and some noise with the master bed, the condo is in near perfect condition. The owner is very responsive to inquiry over both phone calls and emails. The semi-private beach is easily accessible and is not crowded at all. The nesting ground of the wedge-tailed Shearwaters (sea bird) is a wonderful place for kids to visit after 9PM and the sound of the bird is quite mysterious like a human baby. The famous Bay Course can be easily booked with some discounts. We hope we can stay in the same house when we come back to Maui in a few years!
