Welcome to the 'Mahina Hideaway', a premier beachfront unit on the gorgeous west shores of Maui, halfway between Lahaina/Kaanapali and Kapalua Resort areas. The Hale Mahina Beach resort (a small private beachfront complex with only 52 units) is just minutes from Maui's best golf courses, shopping, dining, and the famous historic town of Lahaina. This direct oceanfront property is set among tropical gardens, a sandy beach, and a lush green lawn that overlooks the ocean.

Unit B305 is freshly updated (February 2023) with all new lighting, paint, ceiling fans, furniture, artwork, a spacious king-size bed, a comfortable sleeper sofa, quality bedding linens, and a 65" smart TV in the living room (there is also a smart TV in the bedroom). Enjoy the fully stocked gourmet kitchen with Sub-Zero and Fisher & Paykel appliances. There is an in-unit washer and dryer for your private use. This unit does not have AC (due to policy for the entire Hale Mahina complex); however, it does have several fans and nice ocean breezes.

You can access this third-floor unit by elevator or stairs. Being on the third floor, you have sweeping ocean views from the private lanai. During whale season, you can watch them swim and play offshore while sipping your morning coffee. In the evening, you can enjoy the famous West Maui sunsets. Fall asleep to the rustle of the palm trees and the sound of the waves gently lapping on the beach below. Take the Tommy Bahama beach chairs straight out front and sit near one of the local turtles sunning themselves on the sand beach.

Take a dip in the oceanside pool, soak in the hot tub, or relax on the provided lounge chairs on the oceanfront lawn. There is also a BBQ area for your enjoyment, complete with tables and benches. The condo is well stocked and has everything you may need for your Hawaiian vacation, including beach equipment, a fully equipped kitchen, BBQ tools, and more. For your entertainment, there is a large HDTV with streaming capabilities and free WiFi.

Our second time staying in this area. Loved this property. Conveniently located to many beaches, shops and restaurants. Very clean, beautifully decorated, well equipped kitchen. Having the washer and dryer was a bonus as we didn’t have to pack extra. The beach on the property wasn’t the easiest to access but that might just be the time of year. We will stay here again!

Beautiful condo in a beautiful place!

This condo is perfect! From the gorgeous kitchen with awesome appliances to the one of a kind view from the lanai. We’ve been to Maui over 20 times, and this is the BEST condo we’ve had the pleasure of staying in. The hosts were wonderful and attentive. INCREDIBLE VACATION RESORT

This unit is amazing! Hale Mahina is the only place we have ever and would ever stay. We've stayed in several units at Hale Mahina and this is definitely one of the best units ever. The unit is newly remodeled, has everything you need, the kitchen is amazing and of the view of course is spectacular! If you are looking for a quiet getaway in a great location, this is your place!

Great stay!

We had a very enjoyable stay. The only drawback for us was the lack of air conditioning on our first night (beginning of September) as it was hot and humid with the fans not providing enough cooling that we are used to. This experience may vary for different people with different temperature preferences. The condo had everything we needed with exception of soap and shampoo for showering which was easy to get with a 10 minute drive south to Safeway, or even closer at the Times Supermarket Honokowai. Condo felt spacious enough for two adults and a toddler. Beautiful ocean view and adequate privacy night and day. Neighbors and neighborhood were not noisy. We did not run into any problems inside or outside the apartment. Wish I could have stayed longer. We would come back in the future if the opportunity presents itself.

Gorgeous Views and Relaxing Stay

I came on my own for a little rest and relaxation and a break from my family -- this condo was perfect!! Beautiful ocean front views, sunsets, sandy beaches, and turtles and whales all day every day! The unit was extremely clean, well-appointed and the kitchen had everything I could possibly need. I will definitely come back!

Whales, Turtles and Ocean Breeze

The view from the lani is beautiful. We stayed during the height of whale season and were treated to views of many whales over most of the stay. There were also numerous sea turtles that swam off the shore and some that came up onto the beach to sun themselves. During the weekend the number of people swimming, paddle surfing, and snorkling was greatly increased and with that, the whale and turtle sightings dramatically decreased as would be expected with increased human activity in the waters. The only downside to the entire 10 day stay was the neighboring dog that barked off and on all day and all night. Since this occurred only the first 7 days of our stay we were unable to determine if it belonged to another guest in the complex and was not a permanent resident or neighborhood pet, but the guests prior to our stay had also mentioned the barking dog in their comments. Overall the stay was fun and enjoyable.

The condo was great and had all the amenities we could have wanted and then some. Loved the cooler and beach chairs, we used them every day. Lanai was great and view was amazing! We were concerned about no ac but nice breeze through the jealousy windows and the bed was awesome. Check in was easy and the hosts were great. We would come again.

Incredible views and a relaxing stay

My husband and I celebrated our honeymoon here and were impressed with the Hale Mahina especially their views of the ocean! This place has everything you need - an extremely comfortable bed, roomy bathroom, gorgeous kitchen and perfect lanai. The beach access was very easy to get to as well - we were able to see so many sea turtles from here! Thank you so much Hula Hideaway for the amazing stay!

Epic scenery

Our family had everything needed right in front of us to enjoy our vacation on Maui. Waking up to the view with the sound of the ocean waves made it extra special. We snorkeled at the private beach just steps away from the condo while kids played all day in the sand and pool. It was perfect! We barbecued a couple of times in the backyard which was nice because it saved us some money to spend on other fun activities to do. Definitely worth every minute and penny. This was truly paradise! The condo was so beautiful and clean. We made some of the most amazing memories while being there. We couldn’t have been happier. Thanks again for sharing your place with us.

Stunning Unit

What an amazing unit! The bed is comfy, the bathroom is huge, not mention the shower! The kitchen is beautiful with plenty of room to cook and well appointed. Excellent Place to stay in Maui/Kahana

This was an amazing location to all things in Maui. The property was well kept and service with management was great. Their beach area was great for swimming and snorkeling. Each day 3-4 sea turtles would come into the beach each evening. Wonderful place!

Mahina Hideaway is Amazing!

We had such an amazing experience at the Mahina Hideaway and will definitely be back. The place is totally remodeled and modernized with everything a person could want. It honestly just felt like home from the moment you walked in. It is in a very quiet area about 10 minutes north of Lahaina. The view from the lanai is exactly as the pictures show. Every day we enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and beach directly in front. The beach is loaded with tropical fish, tons of sea turtles, and great snorkeling 5 feet from shore. So many turtles hauled themselves up on the sand and rested for hours directly in front of us. Jill is very quick to respond with any questions you may have prior to arriving and we wanted for nothing. Thank you for helping make our summer vacation a 10!
