The room was like a fantasy - second floor balcony facing the ocean. Amazing!! The air conditioning did not work well, but we requested a fan and that helped. The staff was very kind, friendly & down to earth. The food was fantastic! All inclusive and we upgraded to the Sun Club, so worth it. Exclusive club room, beach and pools. Five star treatment. There were five restaurants and bars - food and drinks ready and available all day long, all included - NO WRIST BANDS. Truly a Paradise. Free snorkeling, kayaking and breathtaking beaches. Live music, fun games and sports throughout the premises - very engaging and laid back at the same time. We went for our Honeymoon, and I could not have chosen a better more romantic place in the Caribbean. Wonderful stay - ready to move to Curacoa! Breathtaking spa and spa treatment. Would recommend Sunscape for anyone and EVERYONE. Single, Family & definitely couple friendly. One of the Best travel experiences of my life. Dream come true. The attached casino needs to be seriously upgraded & better staffed- other than that- Sunscape Hotel is a Marvelous getaway.

The property is older like many reviewers say,

Don’t expect an early check-in. We arrived at 12p and had to wait until 4pm for check-in and the room still wasn’t even ready. They let 2 others get a room and we continued waiting until 4:30pm to get a room. The bathroom has a broken panel that was off multiple days and their fix was just placing it against it but clearly had a problem flushing because it wasn’t appropriately attached. Water pressure was horrible in the shower. The pool’s floor conditions were poor and every day the water levels dropped significantly while we were there. Some of the food was good, other food we had was well over cooked and rough to eat. We did room service the first night via the stay app and an hour passed by without any word of food delivery. Called the front desk and they put order in for us, had to call 2 more times to check-in and simple sandwiches that were too tough to eat were delivered 2 hrs after. I needed a computer really quick to submit a time card since my phone and iPad were having malfunctions. When I asked front desk if they had a computer I could do that really quick with (5min time) they said no, it was only for employees. Didn’t even offer any other solutions to help so I had to FaceTime someone back home to try and help me. Cleaning would take ages,we’d get back to room by 5pm and it still wasn’t done. For being part of the Hilton we had higher expectations and were extremely let down from staying here. We will not be returning to this location at all.
