Romantic getaway on the Caribbean with private plunge pool.

  • Sol Patch Jeremi is a brand new, spacious duplex in a gated community at the west end of Curacao. The house faces west on a cliff overlooking the Caribbean Sea for fabulous sunsets. Watch frigate birds following local fishermen and keep an eye out for leaping tuna, dolphins and sometimes whales. You'll have your own private plunge pool for sunning or stargazing, wide wooden stairs down into the water for snorkeling and you can walk to our local beach, Playa Jeremi, in minutes. The house has two mirror image apartments, each completely private. Perfect for 1 or 2 couples. Because this is a new community there may be construction happening, we apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

Perfect getaway for a couple!

Loved our stay. It was the perfect trip for a couple to getaway. The deck and plunge pool are perfect to enjoy beautiful views. The hosts were very responsive and helpful with any and all questions. Would love to stay here again!

Fantastic Vacation Rental

We really enjoyed our stay at Lisa and Joel’s and they were very helpful with giving recommendations on hiking trails and places to visit. The space is beautiful and so is the view. We really enjoyed the covered deck and dunk pool. Highly recommend a stay here. Hope to make it back again sometime. Laura and Don

Gorgeous views!

We enjoyed our stay. The view was amazing and the condo is very comfortable. Loved being able to take stairs down to the water…we snorkeled several times a day and saw lots of amazing fish. The closest restaurant, Bahai was a great spot for dinner. Great food and great views. It is a ways to the closest grocery store, so you need to be organized. Joel and Lisa were easy to work with and very responsive. A great place if you want to chill out…and close to several of the best beaches on the island.

Beautiful and Relaxing

Lisa and Joel are extraordinarily helpful and knowledgable hosts. And the apartment is lovely and comfortable. Everything you need and nothing you don’t. I adore the simplicity and practicality of well thought out spaces. Snorkeling, hiking are just steps away. Highly recommend Jeremi!

Perfect Stay in Paradise!

Lisa and Joel are the consummate hosts. This duplex could not have been more perfect. My husband and I traveled with another couple. We each had our own amazing spaces. The place is immaculate and the view is beyond compare. We enjoyed cooking dinner and admiring the sunset from the decks every night of our stay. The plunge pool and proximity to the water made everything beyond perfect. If you want to be at home in paradise, this is the place to be!

AMAZING! YOU HAVE TO GO!

This place was amazing. Everything we could ask for on a vacation. Most BEAUTIFUL beaches you will ever see! Lisa was just amazing! ❤️ Hynrick just the sweetest. We were late getting in being luggage got lost. We kept in touch and he waited at the gate for us to let us in properly for several hours… I felt horrible. But he greeted us with this big smile 😃 and immediately felt like family! Highly recommend this romantic beautiful place. It’s not just the place, but the people you meet as well. We are definitely going back! 🏝️❤️ hopefully moving there

Pure paradise!!

My husband and I were blown away by the beauty and quality of this place. We had one of the most romantic, relaxed and serene weeks of our lives. The space is so clean, airy, and well thought out and the outdoor deck and pool were a dream. We loved the new stairs that go straight into the ocean for spectacular snorkeling. Sunsets in the plunge pool were like a postcard. We were close by all of the spectacular beaches the west has to offer, and surprisingly great restaurants. While it was difficult to locate at first, we quickly learned our way around the around the area. Hynrich, the property manger, was very kind and accommodating. We will be dreaming about this place until we can come back!

Location Location Location !!

Our stay was simply fantastic. First, forget whatever you are trying to see while snorkeling at the various Curacao beaches. Instead, go down the steps off the deck and you will discover undisturbed, most beautiful reefs and abundant marine life. Never saw something so beautiful, and it was all right there. The hosts are amazing, very responsive and full of insider tips regarding sights, dining and getting around. The house is beautiful, airy and very clean. Everything you could possibly need is there. Best of all, the location. Easy to get to, yet far enough away from the overcrowded tourist areas further south. And all of the most beautiful beaches only a short drive away. Kleine and Grote Knip are less than 5 minutes from the property. Our stay far exceeded our expectations. Thank you so much, Lisa and Joel, in hopes to be back soon.

Quiet property with water access and stunning sunsets

We had a very good stay. Thank you Joel and Lisa! We rented both sides of the duplex. They are almost the same, but the left/southern appears to be the "main" unit. The location is some of the best on the island. We did grocery shopping mainly in Wilmestad, at Centrum supermarket which is about 30 min drive. You can also buy fresh fish from the fishermen at Playa Paskado/Grandi which is 5 min drive north from Lagun. come there between 10AM -12 noon. The units have one staircase leading to the water. The last part is a ladder. We swam, snorkeled and Scuba dove directly from the villas. For diving, we would drop inflated BCDs tied to long ropes so they do not drift too far, ascend, and then put on BCDs in the water. A dive shop in Lagun is Bahia Divers. They charge 9 per tank. The sunsets were stunning! We would sit at the staircase landing, directly over water and watch the show every night.

Exceptional Rental with Super Ocean/Sunset Views; Awesome Hosts!

Thanks so much to Joel/Lisa for sharing their exceptional rental property. Additionally, they were both incredibly helpful, offering super suggestions which greatly enhanced our first visit to and experience in Curacao. We especially enjoyed sitting outside and enjoying the super ocean and sunset views. We found the house to be very comfortable and well-equipped. Enjoyed the plunge pool and easy access to snorkeling down the stairs/ladder. There were many nearby highlights/activities but to name a few of our favorites: beaches (get there by 9:00 am for best beach chairs locations), Kleine Knip, Grote Knip, Cas Abao); restaurants, Cactus Cafe, Shelterrock Paradise (on Friday, they have grilled/stuffed coconuts, and karaoke....fun, local experience/reservations recommended). Also, found D&D car rentals to be efficient, local, and cost-efficient option compared to typical, larger chains.. Again, thanks so much to our super hosts Joel/Lisa for sharing both their lovely rental property and local insights....which resulted in a very memorable, fun stay!
