OVERVIEW
Charming south facing open plan ground floor apartment located in a quiet & peaceful residential area just outside the centre of Lagos but only a couple minutes by car to the historic town center, marina, beaches, supermarkets and restaurants or about 20-30 minutes if walking. Set in beautiful mature gardens with a lovely patio just a few steps away from the large swimming pool.

Ideal for those wanting to enjoy all that Lagos has to offer in the summer. Peaceful for long stays in the quieter winter months.

Perfect for families, friends, remote workers or couples sharing!

CLEANING & SANITISATION
The apartment will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitised before every check-in. Cleaning material and products will be available in the apartment for your convenience. Additional cleaning and change of sheets/towels will depend on length of stay.

APARTMENT
This is a large well kept apartment block with 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms. Master Bedroom has 1 standard size double bed. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds. The apartment has a well equipped kitchen and a dining/living area. It is comfortably furnished and has all the necessary equipment for a holiday. Fast & reliable Fibre Optic internet throughout and cable TV international channels. The apartment is located in a mature and well maintained gated condominium of 24 privately owned apartments with beautiful landscaped gardens and private outdoor parking.

POPULAR FOR LONG STAYS IN WINTER
For self catering long stays (28 nights or more) from November to April. Included in the rate is cleaning and change of sheets/covers and towels every two weeks. If you wish to have additional cleaning this can be organised and extra charges will apply. The long stay rates are for 2 guests.

MEET AND GREET
Either José or Carla will meet guests on arrival and give tips on how to make the most of their stay in Lagos. Thereafter guests will be given their privacy and space to enjoy their holiday but are only a call or text message away if they need any assistance or information.

GETTING AROUND
The apartment is minutes away by car from the beaches, town centre, marina, and supermarket, railway station & bus depot.
The apartment is approximately a 20-25 minute walk from the town centre and beaches. Downhill going into town and uphill going back to the apartment. If you're a walker then you could easily rent without a car if you wanted to just focus on experiencing and exploring Lagos. However, we recommend a car in order to explore the beautiful surrounding areas close to Lagos or further along the Algarve. For families with children, for hot summer months and those that don't like walking, we recommend car rental.

Lagos is easy to reach from Faro or Lisbon airport with direct bus routes.

ABOUT LAGOS
One of the most popular towns in the Algarve, Lagos is a top holiday destination and has it all! From history to culture, beaches and climate to a lively, easygoing and friendly atmosphere all year round. Steeped in history it was from here that Henry the navigator set sail on his discoveries along with many other Portuguese explorers.

A walk across the Marina footbridge will lead you into the heart of the old town where you will find a very quaint typical Portuguese town with narrow cobbled streets and many shops, bars and restaurants and entertainment. Here you can experience the raw authenticity of Portugal, the daily fish market, the local Tasca, the smell of grilled sardines and seafood toasting on the grill, tiled houses, the clear blue skies and the warm hospitable people.

There are many places of interest to visit such as museums, churches, historical monuments and a mini-zoo for the children. Activities are endless in and around Lagos and include boat trips, dolphin tours, fishing, surfing, diving, kayaking, golf and much more. Lagos is also very popular for hiking and walking trips.

CLIMATE
The Algarve, situated on the extreme South of Portugal, offers gorgeous sandy beaches and glorious sunshine nearly all year-round. With around 300 days of sunshine a year and idyllic temperatures averaging 14ºC in winter and 25ºC in summer - and rarely going below 10ºC during winter and reaching as high as 28ºC or 30ºC in July and August.

Wie der Deutsche sagen würde:,,Kann man nicht meckern''!Die Gastgeber sind pünktlich, hilfsbereit und sehr gewissenhaft. Bei Problemen und/oder Fragen reicht eine kurze WhatsApp-Nachricht und Carla macht alles möglich.Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und bietet alles was man braucht. Von Geschirrspüler, Waschmaschine, über Pizzaschneider u.s.w. ist alles vorhanden.Wir waren 16 Tage dort und hatten nach einer Woche sogar eine Zwischenreinigung, mit neuen Handtüchern und Bettwäsche.Der Pool und die Terrasse sind sauber und haben uns und unseren zwei Kindern schöne Stunden beschert.Trotz Hochsaison war es immer leer am Pool, fast privat.Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

Fantastic stay

We had a wonderful stay at the apartment, the hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating and gave us great local information and knowledge.The apartment is well equipped and comfortable with everything you could possibly need.The pool is lovely and was empty nearly every time we tried to use it. Agreable sejour dans petite Residence très soignée et au calme à Lagos .

Appartement au rez de chaussée , avec terrasse et accès direct au très beau jardin et à la zone piscine . Agreable impression d'espace pour cet appartement spacieux ( 2 grandes chambres et 2 belles salles de bain/douche) avec cet acces direct vers l'exterieur . Cuisine bien equipee . Résidence soignée et de taille raisonnable ( rez 2 etages ) , à l'ecart du bruit . Zone tres calme . Une voiture est indispensable pour les courses , l'accès aux plages et au centre ville .A recommander .

Loved Lagos

We had a lovely stay in Lagos with very helpful and friendly owners. They even picked us up as we tried walking up the hill. A nice quiet location away from the noise of downtown yet close enough to enjoy the city! Loved the use of the complex pool! Highly recommend.

Wir haben 10 Tage in diesem Appartement verbracht.Lagos Altstadt ist gut zu Fuss zu erreichen. Ort Lagos perfekt für Ausflüge an der Algarve. Wir haben das Appartement genossen.Es war viel Platz und alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Der Vermieter war sehr nett und hat uns herzlich empfangen.Vielen Dank!!!

Très bon séjour

La propriété est très bien située. Les hôtes sont très disponibles, accueillants et aimables. La location était très propre et bien entretenue. Le seul bémol pour nous est au sujet du chauffage. C’est une location moins appropriée pour les mois d’hiver. Il n’y a pas de chauffage central donc nous devons utiliser des chauffages d’appoint, très consommateurs d’énergie ce qui représente des frais beaucoup plus élevés que prévus. Mais nous avons passé quand même un très beau séjour et avons apprécié la location.

Great stay

We had a great stay in Lagos! Carla and Jose are very friendly, and prepared everything for us and our 1 year old son. We enjoyed the garden, the pool, the area and the house itself. With a convenient kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms, comfortable sofas and couch, we had everything we needed. The only minus for us was that the beds are quite firm, which we aren’t used to. But that’s a matter of taste and other than that everything was perfect!

Relaxing and interesting stay

My husband, my sister and I had a wonderful stay with all the comfort you need for your holidays. Carla and José a very obliging landlords and gave us a lot of helpful information for our stay. And the apartment is a good base to visit the west side of the Algave. We will defenetly visit the Algarve again as we liked it very much!

Spacious main floor apartment with wonderful pool!!!

My family, consisting of myself, wife, and 15 year old son had a great 2 week stay in this Albardeira apartment. It is very roomy with a walk-out patio only a few steps away from the condominium pool. Carla and Jose met us for the check-in process and gave us the run down of the property and also a lot of useful tips for the area such as the nearby Pingo Doce for prepared foods and groceries, some great local restaurants, and where to find free convenient parking from where we could easily walk to most of Lagos. Our only suggestion for the property would be to update the master bed as we found it small and uncomfortable for 2 people and after 3 nights we switched rooms with our son who enjoyed it while my wife and I found the single beds in the second bedroom much more comfortable. Carla and Jose were very welcoming and prompt with any questions or issues we had during the stay. About halfway thru they had the linens and towels refreshed for us which was very much appreciated! We suspect there were quite a few other apartments in the complex which are also short-term rentals, as we often saw visitors with bags coming and going, but everyone was very respectful of space and noise. There were absolutely no issues at all with comfort. Overall, we really enjoyed this well equipped property with the pool being the highlight to help beat the August Algarve heat!

Les photos correspondent totalement à ce qui est publié. Notre hôte a été extrêmement accueillant et prévenant. La copropriété est bien entretenue et la piscine est idéale avec un enfant de 4 ans. La résidence est idéalement située pour un séjour au calme mais à 2 minutes en voiture de la marina et donc proche centre ville. On recommande.

Beautiful quiet location, yet not far from beaches

This spacious and well furnished apartment, situated in a quiet location, yet only a few minutes‘ drive from the sea, is the perfect place for a restful holiday. The pool, just a few steps away, although not heated, was pleasantly warm in early June. The apartment is very well equipped, the beds comfortable and the owners always at hand for any questions. With two bathrooms the apartment is ideal for two couples or for a family with children. The beaches, the pleasant town of Lagos and supermarkets are only a few minutes away by car. We would recommend a car rental so you can explore, and it is quite a steep climb from the sea or the town back to the peace of the apartment. You enjoy private parking. We felt very much at home and would strongly recommend this apartment for a wonderful holiday in Lagos, which has so much to offer.

great time in Lagos

The property was wonderful. Peaceful and quiet when we were on site but close enough to everything when we wanted it. Jose met us and gave us a tour and all kinds of helpful information to make our stay enjoyable and then turned the place over to us. Albardeira Apartment

We stayed here for 7 weeks and loved it. Location is an easy 15-20 minute walk to the beach or the marina or the old town. There is a very good little bar/restaurant basically next door and a great grocery store called Pingo Doce within walkable distance. Uber anywhere for 4 to 6 Euros. Carla and Jose were amazing hosts and very very helpful. Responded quickly to any queries and are both lovely. Everything you need is in the apartment. Kitchen is excellent. Would definitely stay again.
