Luxury Apartment with pool on Marina De Lagos


  • This stylish 2 bed apartment is located on the exclusive 'Marina de Lagos' complex. This is the only building with its own adult and childrens pool on the Marina. The apartment boasts open plan living space, combines style, comfort and convenience. The apartment is located on the 2nd floor in a secure complex with video entry phone. The interior comprises a large master bedroom with marble en-suite bathroom. There is a further double bedroom with two single beds and a second shower/guest bathroom. The kitchen comprises a hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer, dishwasher. The living area is light and spacious and opens onto a wide balcony through double French doors. The apartment is fully air- conditioned, cable tv and DVD and Free WIFI( we have installed additional WIFI cababilites) . The large terrace is perfect for dining, sunbathing or sipping sangria while enjoying the views or watching the sunset. The terrace enjoys a south facing aspect. A 10 minute walk to the beautiful town centre of Lagos and only 10 minutes walk to the great beach & on the Marina, Supermarket 1 minute walk. We have visiited with our children when they were babies & it was ideal & now as they are older they love the freedom of popping to the Marina & to the village.

Beautiful apartment in a perfect location

You will find everything you need. The supermarket is on the other side of the street. The service and handling was perfect. You will find a nice flat super clean with very good facilities. The resort has a great pool and is very well maintained

Great place

Amazing location. The check in was fast and they responded to my questions every time. They also recommended a lot of places to eat and walk, and they were all amazing. The only thing that I could say is that I wish they had beach towels in the property. We can here from USA and didn’t have beach towels.

Great stay!

Lovely spacious apartment in a great location. Very accommodating host. Only negatives I can think of were the bed was quite hard in the master bedroom and the pillows could have been better! A welcome pack would have been a great option too as we arrived very late and all the shops were shut. We would definitely stay here again and had a wonderful holiday.

Nous avons séjourné 1 semaine dans ce très joli appartement, très bien agencé avec tout le nécessaire pour passer un bon séjour. Lovely stay - Ticked all the boxes

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment, it was peaceful, clean and well equipped on a lovely little complex with a nice pool. It also felt quite spacious and the dishwasher / washing machine were very handy. It is well located on the marina and within easy reach of beaches (15 - 30 min walk depending on your beach choice) and the old town (20 min walk) which was full of restaurants and shops. As first time visitors to Lagos, we'd definitely return. Very convenient to have a supermarket so close and the train station a 10 minute walk away.

Perfect family holiday

Just home from 10 fabulous days in Maggies apartment. Our second time in this complex, first time in the particular apartment. Fabulous location. Apartment exactly as you see in pictures. Spotlessly clean and has everything you could possibly need. Brilliant for my three sons (Aged 5, 2 and 4 months) Lagos is becoming our favourite spot to holiday and we will definitely be back!

wonderful apartment, perfect vacation

We spent a great vacation in this lovely apartment, spacious, comfortable and very well located. I loved the pool and the surrounding space. As negative aspects I point out the lack of cleaning, stains on the sofas and bedspread, dust on the furniture and textiles. lack of some essential items in the kitchen such as a coffee machine and cups, a tablecloth for meals, boxes with lids, among others.

We will be back!

We are thrilled with this clean and spacious apartment. A beautiful view towards Lagos and the complex's pool. We felt very comfortable here. It's only a short walk through the marina to the old town of Lagos. Everything you need is there. But perhaps the next guests would appreciate a coffee machine. A few cushions for the patio chairs can also really enhance the balcony. Communication with management was perfect and obliging. 😀 We'll definitely be back.

Loved our stay

Once we were in and got settled, it was great. It felt like home. It is walkable to all amenities and Lagos is a great tourist hub. Lots of restaurants and entertainment. We attended two amazing concerts at the cultural center, and a couple of fado performances at a restaurant. On one rainy afternoon we went to the cinema to see a movie. The buses and trains are minutes away so we explored a few towns along the Algarve and one on the Portugal/Spanish boarder. This apartment suited our needs perfectly.

A great base for a holiday in Lagos

We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was well equipped and comfortable. The balcony has a nice view over the garden/pool area and towards the town. At the back is a busy main road but once the windows and shutters are closed, you can hardly hear it. We have stayed in Lagos a few times and like the marina area a lot. Communication between us and the property owner and the agents was excellent. Pool is a good size and there are lots of sun beds (although sometimes it’s hard to get one as people put their towels out). There is a lovely beach about a 10/15 minute walk away with ample free parking if you’re tired at the end of your holiday and can’t be bothered to walk (like us!). The nearby supermarket is great - fresh bread and pastries and a hot chicken counter for an easy dinner option. Fab base for a holiday!

Amazing spacious apartment!

Easy to book with very accurate description of apartment and surrounding area. Monica met us at the apartment (on the 2nd floor) and was very friendly, helpful and informative. Apartment was super clean and comfortable with a large balcony and a smaller one to hang up our washing. Will most definitely recommend anyone to stay here we had a lovely, relaxing holiday. Only thing I would recommend is to have a small welcome pack provided such as water,milk, bread, fruit as we arrived late. We had hired a car which is advisable to see some beautiful beaches and surrounding areas of Lagos. Ample free parking close to apartment. Old Town a lovely 20 minute walk. Thank you to Monica for all her help & Maggie & Richard for their lovely apartment.

Perfect location to enjoy Lagos

The apartment block is clean, well maintained and easy to locate in the Marina area. The access to a private pool for the block is a real bonus, although additional sunbeds and parasols for the pool area are definitely required. The apartment is fully functional, with 2 bathrooms and a washing machine being extremely useful. Some inter-room noise between apartments which is to be expected in a block of this size. Owner/management company easy to contact and quick to respond when required. Only main gripe is the lack of clean towels and linen during our 10 day stay - that's when the washing machine played its part! All in all a pleasant apartment in a central location.

A good experience

This second floor apartment overlooks the private pool and gardens, and is well laid out. Would fit a family well. Situated at the edge of the Marina, the road noise is there but easily shut out. Parking is close by as is Pingo Doce, an adequate supermarket. The apartment has WiFi, a TV and DVD Player, with some DVD'S - we could not get this to work properly - and suspect the DVD player to be the culprit. Families with young children in need of some entertainment, please note. The pool is exceptional, but the sunbed reservations in advance was well underway, even in early June. It takes a brave person to remove towels from 4 sunbeds! Fortunately, Meia Praia beach is a short walk away, and is breathtaking. Not to be missed as is Marina Bar, and all of Lagos. As to check in, the map provided was poor and needs revision. Enjoy!

A lovely apartment.

This is a lovely functional 2 bed apartment for our family of 4. It was clean and very spacious. It had everything that a family would need for a short stay. The host, handling agent on the ground was very communicative with us. When we arrived they were there and went through the whole apartment as where the refuge went etc. Overall a lovely apartment....The wifi was grand. The pool is great, not over prescribed, however to note, a number of days before we left the pool towel brigade had arrived in mass and were down early every morning with their towels and then not seen for hours after. I observed one holiday maker putting towels down at 6.15am and did not arrive back down till noon!...very wrong of them. There are signs up around the pool advising people of said activity but they are clearly ignored. The 2 pools are very clean and spacious, plus every morning you will see the facility staff out in force. The marina is just minutes away. The supermarket, the Pingo Doce is seconds away with everything you would need. The location is super A couple of items to flag, not necessarily good or bad but from other holiday lets we have stayed in there are just a number of items/additions which I think might be considered by the owners but as they are small items Id probably just flag them with the owners separately to this review. Would we come back......100%. If your thinking of booking it, book it.

A relaxing, enjoyable stay!

For us, a semi-retired couple, this large apartment "ticked all the boxes". The location at the Lagos Marina was excellent. It was a 10-minute interesting walk to the town, the beach, the bus station, and the train station. The supermarket and a local bus stop were just around the corner. Although the back balcony overlooked a busy road, the apartment was soundproof. The large front balcony was sunny, with a lovely view of the pool, the well-kept grounds, and the town. The separate large kitchen had a full-sized fridge and dishwasher, a microwave, and a cooktop. For coffee there was a French press, fine for 2 people but perhaps a problem for more. An electric kettle and 3 different sizes of teapots took care of tea-making. A drying rack and clothespins were supplied. We did not use the washing machine. The furniture in all rooms was comfortable, and quite adequate. There was excellent light for reading. The elevator was appreciated for getting groceries up to the second floor. Free WiFi and a modern TV with some English channels were welcome amenities. The English-speaking owners were very fair and pleasant to deal with. The local Portuguese, English-speaking manager, Sandra, was most obliging and pleasant. For our long-stay of a month there was a weekly cleaning and change of linens arranged by Sandra. There was a large quantity of cutlery and place settings so it wasn't necessary to run the dishwasher's full cycle every day. The nearby Pingo Doce has long hours and delicious rotisserie chickens! The owners even supplied some books in English and we contributed some of our own for the next renters. the heaters in each room worked well for the odd chilly February evening. All in all, our one-month stay in February and March in this apartment was an excellent experience! A Canadian couple
