"We wanted a pet friendly hotel and boy, did we get it. Every member of staff treated our little pup like royalty. In the room there was a comfortable bed for her with a towel and 2 blankets along with some bowls but the piece de resistance was a the little bag containing poop bags, treats and a ball. We had a very satisfied little dog in the room but when she saw the outside greenery she was absolutely thrilled as were we. Unlike a lot of hotels where they claim to be dog friendly but then...

"This was one of the best experiences I’ve had in all of England staying at this charming inn. The food was outstanding as well as the service and staff. I would highly recommend this to anyone, especially if you want to visit several of the southern Pride and Prejudice movie sites such as Stourhead or Wilson House. Stonehenge is also close by! "The welcome at the Grosvenor Arms was great and the homemade cookies on arrival were a lovely touch. The room was a good size, clean, in a lovely condition and quietly facing away from the road. When we walked in, the bartender checked us in seamlessly, walked us to our room, helped us with our bags, and by the time we meandered back down to the bar, drinks were waiting for us. We opted for breakfast the next day and had the most delicious full English. The outdoor space is also incredibly comfortable and inviting. Would 100% both recommend this gem AND stay here again in a heartbeat."

"On arrival we were greeted at the bar by a lovey gentleman whose name I believe was Wayne, he was very welcoming and great fun to talk to. The check in process was very easy and the room was everything we wanted. The location of the hotel was perfect, situated in the town centre. The food and service at the pub was great, certainly no complaints and we were very pleased to find “trickles” on the menu, something me and my partner were both very excited to try and they didn’t disappoint "
