"When we travel to Florida this property is our first overnight stay. We travel with our Golden Retriever, room is always clean beds are comfortable and the staff is always friendly. Stayed on February 28th on the way down and May 9th on the way back. We have done this for 7 years now. Mac’s restaurant is right next door for an added bonus!"

"The room and halls of the hotel were not clean. We felt there may have been fleas In the room. There was dog poop residue on the floor of our room. We got to the hotel late, so we didn’t notice till the morning . I will not be repeat customer."

"Cuando llegue el ascensor estaba dañado. Mi habitación estaba en el tercer piso donde llegar con el equipaje fue muy dificil. Despues de realizar la solicitud el personal del hotel me atendio muy bien cambiando mi habitación a la planta baja. La habitacion estaba muy limpia al igual que todo el hotel. El desayuno es bueno. La ubicación es muy buena cerca de restaurantes , bares, etc. y tambien cerca del lago Norman que es muy bello."

"I understand the property is under some improvements at the moment. The room they gave us for three nights was about halfway remodeled. It was also very dirty for Marriot standards. I did inquire about a different room and they stated there were none available. They also told me the room I was in was already remodeled. Beware of the photos, the outside is not the same building and the rooms will look similar, but may not have all amenities listed. "

"I’m a repeat guest at this location. Staff is friendly, breakfast is delicious with amazing presentation and attentiveness. Rooms are comfortable, clean and the front desk does a great job at trying to accommodate request for room location, etc. Small touches to connect with guest and enhance experience such as the collection of rubber ducks (learned this during this stay), decor to highlight holidays, popcorn, fruit, coffee/tea available at all times. I love it here and it’s my home away from...
