  • The "Zydeco House". Quaint 76 old year renovated in 2021, 2 br, 2 ba, home located in the heart of Breaux Bridge historic district. Come sit, relax, and enjoy morning coffee on our front porch or sitting area viewing the backyard. We named our home after purchasing it from a "Zydeco dancer" from Washington State.
    Put on your dancing shoes or walk the streets of downtown to visit veterans park, library, antique shops and restaurants for great food, fun and much more.......

Perfect Place for our Family

Absolutely delightful stay for two couples.

This VRBO property is well located, so nicely decorated and comfortable for a family gathering. We loved it and we look forward to returning again. Highly recommend it.

Comfortable cottage right in Breaux Bridge

Very comfortable and spacious cottage within easy walking distance of the restaurants, shops and churches in Breaux Bridge. Fully equipped and feels like home. Also a very central location to get to Lafayette and all of the other towns and sites in Cajun Country. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful.

Breaux Bridge Fun

We booked for the annual Crawfish Festival. Perfect location! The hosts were very nice and the war stories of the Penguin were so interesting. Beds were very comfortable, the house was clean and felt like home. Thank you for sharing with us!

Singing in the Street

The "Zydeco House" is on our top 5 of places we have stayed. One of our favorite things was waking to the church bells chiming and this morning someone was singing while walking in the street. We ate wonderful food, shopped, toured and spent a great weekend being together, 3 generations of women.

Mom's Bday Getaway

We loved the house! Perfect location to downtown. Within walking distance to donut shop, church, shops, and resturants. Buz and Angel were great hosts and quick to respond to any questions we had. They gave us helplful suggestions on places to eat and things to do in town. The house was beautifully decorated and well stocked for our arrival.
