Pocono Lackawaxen Masthope Lakefront Game Room Community Pool Ski Big Bear Kayak

This beautiful lakefront home has 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms that sleeps 12 people comfortably (Master bathroom has Jacuzzi Tub, one extra daybed in the basement). It also has incredible views from the rooms with an open concept living and kitchen space. Kitchen is fully stocked. There’s also lots of outdoor deck space to catch some sun and enjoy the seasonal lake views. Outdoor BBQ grill, fire pit and dining space available. The house also provide 1 canoe and 1 adult kayak to our guests enjoy the water fun. Paddles and life jackets are provided. The finished basement offers some games and additional hang-out space. Enjoy to use the pool table, tennis table, air hockey, dart, foosball table, and the arcade games. Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN are available on all 4 TVs. The community offers tennis, mini-golf, arcade, fitness center, etc with the amenity passes. Guests can enjoy swimming, kayaking, and canoeing, boating, fishing in the summer. Other amenities such as the horse stables, mini golf, Ski Big Bear (winter only), the Summit Restaurant, tiki bar, and the community pool (summer only) are also located just minutes from this property. For the winter, skiing and tubing are available with discount rate. Great place to bring your Family and Friends.



The guests will have access to the whole house with the exception of the few locked closets that we use for our own personal use. Parking for 5 cars in driveway.

If you would like to purchase amenity passes that would allow access to pools, beach, stables and miniature golf, the cost is $10 per person for each day of use. Passes can be purchased upon arrival at the Office. Passes must return to the office. You will not have access to Masthope amenities for the Independence Day Holiday weekend (July 4th weekend)

You will be required to fill in the rental registration by providing the names of everyone staying with you, information about the cars you will drive and provide a photo ID for the lead renter. $75 late registration fee will be applied to your listing if you book within 7 days of the beginning of your stay as per HOA rules.

All garbage must be removed from property upon departure. Please throw all trash in the community compactors. Failure to dispose garbage will result in a $30 fee per bag left behind.

We had a great August stay with 12 people. 4 kids ranging from 3-12. The house was big and rooms were great. The downstairs games kept the kids busy! There was a lot to choose from. The dock and boats were great. We went fishing on the lake. We got the community pass and went to the pool and lake. Both were wonderful. The house had most of what we needed. 2 bbqs, pots, pans, bowls. Etc. my only suggestion would be to bring some pillows. There were enough, but only one per person. Also there weren’t face cloths or hand towels, so you may want to bring those as well. We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely 2 week stay; kids loved the kayaks and lake, as well as the pool and beach facilities; nightly bbqs on the deck: fire pit and smoores by the lake. House easily accommodated 6-10 of us. Constance was responsive and helpful. All in all, a fine experience.

The house was terrific, handled 10 people easily, my two sons & there families. The quiet lakefront location was much better than the house we rented last year which was several lots away from the community beach. The kids absolutely loved the fully loaded game room!

Definitely for families

The location was great. Quite and peaceful, beautiful lake front. Home had everything needed for our stay. Plenty of room for everyone to enjoy and stay busy in case of rain. Host truly dependable and available for every question. Definitely recommend and hope to return.

Great Winter Getaway

The property was nice, well maintained and clean. It worked perfectly for our group of 11. The kids loved all of the games in the basement. We had an issue with the hot water heater (breaker flipped) and the team was super responsive.

Beautiful home away from home

Home was perfect for a holiday family getaway. We enjoyed the warm fireplace and game room. Close to skiing. My only opportunity for improvement would be to provide towels and better quality pillows and bed linens.

Beautiful home with something for everyone!

Beautiful home to celebrate my husband’s 80th birthday by having his grown kids and grandkids surprise him by showing up unexpectedly. He never saw it coming! The teens and their dads got a chance to enjoy the kayaks while we fished. The game room downstairs was quite the “man cave” for the 2 teen boys who decided to sleep down there too with their own tv , games, and bathroom! A wonderful time with lots of space for everyone!

Amazing lake house vacation

We stayed in the house for 4 nights in August, two families with 3 young kids each (ages 3-7). Had a wonderful time hiking around the area, canoeing, and spending time in the pool and in the lake. The area is bustling with animals, we and our kids were super excited to see so many deers, frogs, bald eagle and even one spotting of a small bear! We definitely recommend the house for families.

weekend away

We had a great time at the property, was as listed, very clean and quick responses from the owners to any questions. We had some rain that weekend and the gaming area in the basement helped to keep us occupied while waiting out the weather, the fishing was awesome, we really had a great time.

Incredible community and property. Just like the listing. Very comfortable and more than enough room for 4 adults and 5 children. Tons to do both at the house and in the community. Would love to stay again in winter to Ski Big Bear. Very close to many great amenities. Excellent! Excellent!
