Large 4* chalet with terrace and breathtaking view 5 min from the Paradiski area

Traditional wooden construction on a stone base, this large chalet of 219 m², entirely renovated with a typical mountain decoration, is ideally located for sports holidays with family or friends; in the small hamlet of Montorlin: calm and conviviality will be the order of the day.
The chalet benefits from a privileged location 5 minutes by car from the ski lifts and the slopes of the Paradiski area. The chalet is classified 4 stars and 4 Paradiski crystals.
It is surrounded by 2000 m² of fenced land not overlooked with a magnificent view of the Versant du Soleil and Mont Blanc.
Parking for all cars. Internet Wifi.
The 1st level welcomes :
- a large entrance hall, with a 3-person sauna,
- 2 rooms with 2 single beds each and 1 room with 4 bunk beds,
- a laundry room with washing machine
The 2nd level welcomes :
- a large terrace with a magnificent view of Mont Blanc
- a large dining room with lounge to enjoy your evenings around the fireplace, equipped with a library with many books, board games, Wii console, Hifi, internet and wifi,
- a fully equipped fitted kitchen with a large 5-burner gas piano, a large 90 cm oven with extractor hood, microwave oven, traditional and Senseo coffee maker, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, raclette and fondue machine,
- a room with 2 single beds
- a separate toilet.
The 3rd level welcomes :
- 1 bedroom with 1 double bed
- 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds each
All the rooms are equipped with a bathroom with WC and towel rail, a TV set with TNT and foreign channels (except room 7 which has no TV), duvets and pillows.
Optional : we could supply sheets and bathroom towels on request.
Access to the resort and the ski lifts in 5 minutes by car. Very practical formula: the ski hire companies in the resort offer you heated ski lockers. This allows you to leave your equipment after your day and pick it up in the morning to go skiing. You can then put on your après-ski shoes, have a drink in the village, do your shopping and come back home without being bothered: the children will be delighted!!!!

Prachtig huis, alles heel goed geregeld. Vragen aan Gilles werden zeer snel beantwoord en op de laatste dag was Gilles een grote hulp om nog een taxi voor ons te regelen om naar het station in Landry te komen. Advies taxi eerder reserveren. Schoonmaakster Celine zeer aardig en alles perfect in orde. Achter het huis loopt een pad waar je naar Montchavin kan lopen en terug. Erg steil dus niet met je ski's en skischoenen te doen. Om naar de piste te gaan heb je een auto nodig en ben je er in 5 minuten.Wij hadden een locker bij intersport in Montchavin gehuurd dus als je met meerdere personen bent kan je daar je ski's en skischoenen daar achterlaten en bv terug lopen via het pad 15 minuten of met de auto terug, 5 minuten.Huis is van alles voorzien in de keuken en heeft een prachtig uitzicht.Ik kan het van harte aanbevelen.

Great house which can accomodate lots of people. A 2 min drive to the ski lift in Montchavin which gives you access to all of La Plagne and Les Arcs. Would recommend and definitely could come back in the future!

Amazing chalet for a group of families

We love the place and we booked to come back next year! Gilles was communicative and helpful, the place was beautiful and comfortable. We were worried about driving up to Montchavin but it was fine and we always found parking even in the mêlée of half-term week. From here were able to ski all the way to Champagny on the La Plagne side, and in Les Arcs down the Aiguille Rouge.

Ski et détente

Le chalet est vaste, bien équipé et proche de la station de ski de Montchavin. Néanmoins pour skier il faut prendre sa voiture car le chemin menant à la station est raide et verglacé.L’annonce n’est pas assez précise sur la nécessité de commander les draps et serviettes de bain en supplément.

Un chalet spacieux et accueillant

Nous avons passe une excellente semaine au chalet, tres bien equippe et chaleureux. Notre groupe a profite de l'interieur comme de la terrasse et du jardin. La grande table de jardin avec bancs tout autour etait parfaite pour les repas. Nous avons apprecie le confort des chambres avec salles de douche / bain attenantes. La cuisine est tres bien equipee pour les grands groupes. A recommander!

Chalet super cosy

Très chouette chalet dont nous avons bien profité. Espace suffisant pour tous (nous étions 10) et deux chambres étaient encore disponibles. La cuisine est super bien fournies pour y cuisiner et y stocker de la nourriture. Le rapport qualité- prix est très intéressant. Les oeufs sont atteignables en voiture, comme annoncé. Cela n'a posé aucun souci, il y avait beaucoup de places de parking. La communication avec les propriétaires s'est super bien passée également.

Great location and nice house!!

It is only few minutes away from Les coches, cafe’s and shops. The house are full of equipments, kitchen is not so big but complete. The sauna needs to have a bit of privacy. The owner was easy to contact when we had problem with the washing machine and also for checking in. All in all it was a great place for ski vacation and we will surely book it again if we are going back. :)

Well hosted spacy atractively chalet

Good sized bedrooms each with their own bathroom. Cosy living room that even with 14 guests feels not too crowded. Kitchen is well equipped only the dishwasher is not suitable for this many guests, this calls for a professional machine in stead of a consumer type. We enjoyed the evenings around fireplace. The sauna is not what you expect in this type of chalet, it is small, without any privacy and relaxation facilities. The jacuzzi seems to be only available in summer, would have been nice in winter too.

Tolles Haus mit viel Platz und guter Ausstattung

Sehr schönes Haus mit vielen Zimmern mit eigenen Bädern und viel Platz. Schöne Aussenterasse und gute Einrichtung. Dieses Haus kann man nur weiter empfehlen.

Superb Chalet in an excellent location

This is an excellent well equipped renovated chalet 5 minutes drive from the Montchavin lifts to La Plagne. 11 of us stayed for a week and this is one the best chalets we have used over 15 years of skiing around France. The bedrooms are spacious and the bonus of having en-suite in each was a treat. Loads of relaxation space in the joint living room/dining area which would easily accommodate a full chalet at the table, as well as a kitchen with everything you need - including two raclette sets. Heated boot storage downstairs and parking for at least 5 cars directly outside. the views across the valley were stunning and the area is beautiful and very quiet. The drive each morning to Montchavin was easy and we had no problem parking there. There is a new large LeClerc supermarket in Aime on the way to Montorlin which was useful to stock up in. Also the Skimium hire shop next to the Sherpa in Montchavin rented us our ski gear and we stored this equipment there overnight to avoid lugging it back to the cars and unloading each night. Excellent service. In fact everyone around Montchavin was kind and helpful making this an excellent holiday. Thank you Gilles!

Lovely cosy place for large group

We, a group of 9 adults and 6 children, just spent a lovely week at the chalet of Gilles and Isabelle Aymard. The kitchen is very well equipped and in particular the large stove which always for elaborate cooking is worth mentioning. Each bedroom has a nice bathroom and we never ran out of warm water despite several people taking showers at the same time. The fireplace, with wood provided by the owners, provided a cosy feel to our experience. Despite our large group we never felt crowded in the chalet and the children had enough place to play. The chalet is closely located to the village of Montchavin, 15 min walk and 2 min car ride, and we were always able to find a parking space in the local parking area, which is not far for the ski lifts. Overall, good value for money and we definitely consider coming back here next year.

Très agréable châlet

Châlet très agréable, bien équipé et au calme. Les pistes sont à 2 min en voiture et nous n’avons eu aucun pb pour trouver des places pour se garer à proximité du premier télésiège en pleine période de vacances scolaires. Le châlet est très bien chauffé et du bois est à disposition pour utiliser la cheminée. Bon rapport qualité/prix, Isabelle et Gilles furent charmants, nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Magnifique et conforme à nos attentes - A refaire !

Le chalet correspond à notre attente. Nous étions 10 adultes et 7 enfants entre 2 et 6 ans . Le confort était excellent pour tous grâce notamment aux salles de douche ou de bain équipant chaque chambre. L'équipement général du chalet est aussi très complet et moderne. Seul petit bémol, le frigo est trop petit pour un tel nombre de personnes.
