Large Secluded Country Home Minutes from Town

Tucked into the bluffs of the Beautiful Coulee Region, this La Crosse home is a one-of-a-kind opportunity. Enjoy 2 furnished levels with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 living rooms and a beautiful kitchen and fireplace.

On your secluded acre are tall, beautiful shade trees, a movable fire pit, 2 piggies fenced in the backyard, and very often deer and turkeys having dinner in easy view from the deck.

From the large deck or covered patio enjoy the sounds of nature, an amazing view of the bluffs, and some of the most gorgeous sunsets God has to offer.

Whether you are on the deck having coffee in the morning or wine in the evening, you'll feel like you are sitting on a cabin porch nestled in the rocky mountains.

And unlike a stay near the river, there are NO mosquitoes!

There are 2 piggies, though! Olaf & George are always excited to see new faces. We stop over daily to feed them; we are just outside & typically only for a brief time.

You'll find the kitchen fully equipped with ample counter space, all the essential appliances and kitchenware for your home-cooking needs.

There's also a large family room in the lower level featuring a bar, large flat screen smart TV with Netflix account, and a variety of games - perfect for family movie or game night. This room also includes a door leading to the covered patio.

This was one of the best stocked places that I have stayed!! They are definitely super hosts. The kitchen was nice and large and had everything we needed. The large table was great for our family gathering and playing cards. The tv area and toy area downstairs was great for the toddler and family to enjoy. The different make up of the rooms with the beds worked out really well for our situation.

Beautiful setting, very well-stocked kitchen for cooking, and plenty of seating and beds for our group. Communication was great!! All information was clear and Amber was very responsive. We had a wonderful time on our mini vacation. The house was very clean and fully stocked for all our needs. Amber was an amazing host and checked in on us a couple of times throughout the stay. We enjoyed feeding George and Olaf. The upper deck was an awesome perk for us to gather and enjoy the views after a long day at the race track.

This was a very well kept older home. The beds & couches were super comfy. Everything we could've needed was supplied. I really appreciated the cleanliness. We saw a mama deer with her twin fawns. The pigs were adorable & fun to feed.

Labor day weekend in La Crosse

Our group had a great stay at this property over Labor Day weekend. It's in a great location on a beautiful piece of land. It was a busy weekend with most of the time in the house spent either sleeping or getting ready, but the place was great and fit all our needs and then some. Would definitely book this house again for future visits to La Crosse.

Great Stay

It was a very pleasant stay. We enjoyed the sunset while relaxing on the patio overlooking the valley. It was close to our activities for the weekend and great overall amenities for our stay. Amber was great at communicating for arrivals of feeding the piggies.

Family & Friend Reunion

This home and location were the perfect stay for our group of friends who were back to our home town of LaCrosse for a larger contingency reunion with HS friends from around the globe. This peaceful spot in the country was so beautiful and serene- the deck was amazing for the sunsets, viewed over the endless green of the trees. The house was stocked with everything needed, was clean and easy to feel like home. We had an extra two bits of delight with George and Olaf, who were the cutest piglets ever, kept on the side yard, and always so excited to see us! Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend!

We enjoyed the house and all it amenities and the host was very attentive and responsive. Our family especially liked the family room area downstairs - large TV, plenty of seating to watch movies, a game table and space to assemble puzzles.

Peacefulness in the bluffs

Beautiful home in beautiful surroundings. So much room! Amber was great to work with. Very accomodating. Responded quickly and was insightful enough to find a way to communicate with me in a way I was more comfortable. Access wouldn't be the best for wheelchairs, (especially large ones) although doable & worth it. We were able to use the front door as my mother is unable to do the steps. The bathroom doorway was a real tight squeeze for mom's walker. Where there's a will, there's a way and we're so glad it worked out. The house allowed for comfortable places to relax after a busy family reunion. Thanks, Amber, for providing a gorgeous getaway and the "extra surprise". So much fun. I would stay here again.

Quiet and convenient place

Amber was a very gracious hostess, seeking out our preferences in order to accommodate them to the best of her ability. The house was very conveniently located just minutes away from the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, which was the main reason for our visit to La Crosse, and also just a bit further to La Crosse downtown itself. The house was perfect for our large family, and great attention was given to cleanliness. We had a great experience in La Crosse, in no small part thanks to our stay at this house.
