"My family enjoyed our time at this property. I received a friendly email prior to arrival with clear directions and local recommendations. It is a beautiful house, nicely decorated with comfortable furniture - perfect for relaxing and visiting. We loved the location, it is in a quiet neighborhood with multiple shopping and dining options nearby. It took us about 35 minutes to drive to the Bar Harbor area."

We loved the extra touches like the iced coffee bar and daily rotating fruit water (strawberry mint, pineapple kiwi, strawberry melon). "Good things — The bed was large and very comfortable. The bathroom and shower area were clean, and the view outside the tent was beautiful. The staff was also extremely helpful and friendly. Bad things — The tent itself was not as clean as expected, with many bugs on the ceiling and walls. The floor was also not properly cleaned. "Location was great for Acadia National Park. Breakfast is lacking, a lot of things are out of order or unavailable. Breakfast staff was seen disregarding proper food safety in regards to changing gloves after exiting the restroom and practicing hand hygiene before dealing with food items. After politely asking the staff to change their gloves, they argued with us and then confronted us once again while we were sitting at our table eating breakfast."

I had a hard time navigating to leave a message and the only messages I received were sent in February, months before my May attempts to communicate. The messages I did read from Feb were hard to access and appeared in faded gray color font with copy and paste nearly unreachable as printing was off the screen of my iPhone. "I was very happy about the room at Acadia Pines Motel. The price was great, the room was clean, the bed comfortable, the staff friendly, quiet surroundings, free parking , with a BBQ restaurant next door and seafood across the road. And this was 10 minutes away from the center of Bar Harbor. Why spend a lot of money if you are just looking for a place to sleep. I will reserve again!"
