Undeniably adorable, Latitude Adjustment Beach House is a celebration of authentic coastal North Carolina cottage-style island living. Located on Pleasure Island, home to Kure and Carolina Beach, the house has been lovingly decorated with nostalgic beachy charm and a touch of Caribbean flair. Latitude Adjustment offers a relaxing coastal experience where visitors may enjoy warm summer afternoons with friends and family. Located a block from the beach, a lazy, 28 second stroll finds your feet in the sand as you take in the spectacular views of the Atlantic ocean. Just 20 minutes from Wilmington, this seaside cottage features 2 bedrooms and 1 bath for the perfect beach getaway.

This bottom unit of this beach duplex cottage features 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. (Please note- this is for the BOTTOM only. The top is used by our family.) Each bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed with linens included, a nice size walk-in closet and full size dresser as well as a flat screen TV.

The comfortable living room has a queen size sleeper sofa for those extra friends or family who may join you on your visit to Pleasure Island. Sit in one of the comfortable recliners and enjoy a movie or sports game on the large flat screen TV!

Latitude Adjustment comes with a fully stocked kitchen for cooking up your favorite meals! Fully relax while sitting on the front porch and listening to the waves. The weather at Kure Beach is mild almost year round which means you'll get a lot of beach time! The short walk to the beach is made even easier with the public access for easy entry. If you have an afternoon thunderstorm, there is a flat screen TV, DVD player, wireless internet and plenty of fun family board games.

If your idea of vacation doesn't include cooking, you are only a 10 minute walk to the Kure Beach Pier where you can enjoy a fabulous Italian meal at Freddie's, a scrumptious seafood dinner at Big Daddy's, drinks and your favorite sports game at Jack Mackerel's, or a good 'ole burger or shrimp po' boy the Kure Beach Diner. Stop over at the Kure Beach Pier after dinner and get an ice cream cone, do some shopping or enjoy an evening stroll on the pier. Be sure to bring your bikes as well! You can ride your bike to Fort Fisher and explore, catch the ferry and bike around Southport or ride into Carolina Beach and visit the Saturday morning Farmers Market.

My family had a great time at this location! It was decorated very tastefully and had all the necessary amenities for my wife and two sons to cook meals and wind down after a day at the beach. The outdoor area was immaculately maintained and I would certainly stay here again. Check-in was also seamless and the property owner reached out to ensure everything went well with our arrival.

Clean and comfortable

Exactly as advertised! Exceptionally clean and comfortable beds. Great location. English was very responsive and easy to communicate with.This was perfect for myself and three teenage children. We plan to return soon.

Peaceful Location

Pros: Close to the beach. Quiet Neighborhood. Comfortable beds.Cons: Issue with check-in because keycode was entered incorrectly. Oven needed to be cleaned.The pros out weighed the cons. Would stay again.

Ohioan’s First Trip

I would first like to say that we drove around 11hours and have never stayed in this location or area. The beach was very nice. It was a very short walk from the house to the beach with no troubles at all. The house was amazing. It had the beach feel all the colors and the way it was decorated a great vibe to relax to. The backyard has a covered retreat with chairs and tables which was a very nice surprise for relaxing time outside when the sun went down.The outside shower was good for the kids to get the sand off it even had hot and cold temperature controls. Plenty of space for the family in a great neighborhood. The driving distance to the restaurants and things was very reasonable and close. We definitely would like to rent the top and the bottom so the whole family could come. Would like to see blinds in the kitchen window for privacy and maybe some curtains in the bedrooms for the sun in the morning peeking through the blinds but other than that, it was really nice and we were happy. Thank you.

Cute beach bungalow

As advertised. Very cute little place 1 block from beach. Check in progress simple, communication with owner excellent. Be sure to bring all your beach gear and a wagon if needed. Shibumi and backpack chair makes for a quick 6 min walk to the beach. Kitchen fully stocked.There is no dining table but is a nice bar top with 3 chairs. Definitely recommend if a small family.

Cozy long weekend getaway

Great place for a long weekend getaway. My parents, my sister, her granddaughter and I stayed three nights. Kitchen has everything you need to cook. Bathroom can get a bit in demand with four adults and a toddler but we managed. Comfortable and open living room kitchen design.

Kure Beach is the best!

Love this quiet beach town. To be fair, we visited in late March but I’m guessing it’s often just as mellow. Fantastic place to stay, 1 block off the beach. So much light but also very cozy for our one rain day. Filled with all the amenities listed on the posting. It was an extra bonus to be close to the center of town. We were able to walk to restaurants and the boardwalk swings— especially nice with a good book. Some other recs: Soulflavor in CB Breakfast at Ocean View Celtic Creamery A walk around Fort Fisher We hope to return!!

Good Value

The value is good for the area. About 2 blocks to the beach and easy drive to shopping and fantastic Dining in Kure Beach and Carolina Beach. There is a Publix close for reasonable priced groceries (as reasonable as it is now). No doubt, I'll be staying at Latitude Adjustment again.

Perfect family stay!

Amazing, quiet location just a block or two from the beach! Just the right amount of space for our family of four, with a great outdoor area in back. We were able to walk to the beach during the day and to the pier for dinner at night. Host is friendly and prompt in communication. We would happily stay again!

Kure Beach Cottage review

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Kure Beach cottage for a week and overall it was a great trip. A little feedback on the rental... Pros - location is great, a quick 3-4 minute walk and you're standing in the sand and looking at the ocean. Communication with the owners was excellent. They are very quick to respond and easy to deal with, I really appreciated that. We had a minor issue in that our toilet seat was broken and while it did take a few days to get it fixed because of the holiday weekend, the owners kept us informed and got the issue resolved as quickly as possible, even offering an extra day on the house for the annoyance. A/C was great - every room was as cold as we wanted it. Cons - the advertisement does say that the cottage is used by the family also. I interpreted this as that the family comes when the cottage is otherwise unrented...not the case. While I anticipated having the property to ourselves, we had a whole family staying above us over the weekend. I'm certain that they tried to be as quiet as possible, but kids are kids and they run back and forth and up/down steps. It's just loud when you're underneath them. My recommendation is that if you're looking for peace and quiet, maybe double check to see if the upstairs will be occupied at the same time. If you don't mind it, go for it...they gave us as much space and privacy as we could ask for and weren't loud beyond just normal, everyday living. If you're looking for a place to yourselves, maybe book for a different time or look elsewhere. The shower needs some TLC. Plenty of hot water and pressure but in general it's just tired and worn out with pieces coming loose. Overall a good trip. Thanks.

Enjoyed our stay very much! Alot of nice updates to the place, close to beach, away from traffic but still close enough to everything you need! Owners were very friendly and helpful!
