Visquard The historic village center of Visquard is situated on a mound (earthwork) that was built by people many hundreds of years ago to protect themselves from the sea. The discovery of urns indicates that this mound village is very old. At the highest point of the mound stands a church well worth seeing, and narrow alleys invite you to take a stroll through the village, with its lovingly tended small gardens and old houses. An old stone house bears witness to better times. Since Visquard has its own boat dock, this mound village can also be reached by water. Visquard is a popular stopover for cyclists and hosts a major canoe race every year. Visquard: The Ideal Starting Point for Excursions Thanks to its central location away from the tourist hustle and bustle, Visquard is the ideal starting point for numerous activities and excursions—whether by car, boat, or bike. The nearest shopping opportunity for our guests is just outside the gates of Pewsum. The Schatthaus offers a selection of regional foods 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, via a self-service kiosk. You can purchase fresh bakery items 1 km further on in Pewsum. We recommend the Buchholz bakery and pastry shop in the Edeka supermarket, as well as the Schuirmann bakery directly across from the roundabout. Pewsum is the administrative seat of the municipality as well as the central hub for commerce and crafts. In addition to numerous shopping options at various supermarkets, you’ll also find gas stations, doctors, veterinarians, banks, bakeries, restaurants, an ice cream shop, hair salons, opticians, furniture stores, bike rentals, clothing and shoe stores, a gym, and much more. In addition to shopping at the supermarkets, you can also purchase specialty pet food at the local Raiffeisen Market. The post office counter is located inside the Combi supermarket. Huus Wattenmeer is located in the municipality of Krummhörn in Visquard. Our beautifully renovated and quietly situated house with a large property is completely fenced in. The house is ideal for up to 5 people, and thanks to the fenced-in property (1,000 square meters), there’s plenty of space for your dog.

We have equipped all rooms with modern, luxurious amenities and offer plenty of space across two floors and a covered terrace.
The house has 100 m² of living space, including 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a kitchen, a dining room, and a living room.
In addition to the living space, the house has a basement room.
It is a non-smoking home.
However, smoking is permitted on the covered terrace. A gas grill can be provided for a fee.
Parking spaces are located directly in front of the house.
Dogs can run around freely on the fenced-in property while their owners enjoy the view of the garden from our terrace.
Unfortunately, the vacation home is not suitable for small children. No crib is provided.
