To the Little Lighthouse - To the Little Lighthouse: A Vacation in Idyllic Pilsum

Welcome to this beautiful vacation rental, “Zum kleinen Leuchtturm,” located in a newly renovated historic Gulfhof in Pilsum (not far from Greetsiel).

On the first floor of the apartment, you’ll find the spacious living and dining area with a cozy L-shaped sofa, TV, books, games, and a dining area. The open-concept kitchen is equipped with, among other things, a stove, oven, refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, electric kettle, egg cooker, and toaster. From the living area and the furnished, fenced-in terrace, you can enjoy a great view of the Pilsum church tower.

The two bedrooms and the bathroom are located on the upper floor of the apartment: One of the bedrooms is furnished with a double bed (1.80 x 2.00 m, separate mattresses), a closet, and a TV; the other bedroom has two single beds (0.90 x 2.00 m), a dresser, and a TV. The bathroom features a toilet, sink, walk-in shower, hair dryer, and a washing machine. A clothes drying rack is also provided.

All windows are fitted with fly screens, and the skylights in the bedrooms can be completely blacked out. The entire apartment is equipped with high-quality vinyl flooring and underfloor heating.

The apartment includes a parking space in front of the building and a storage room with an electrical outlet for bicycles. A wallbox for charging an electric car is also available upon separate registration and payment.

During the Easter and fall breaks, this accommodations are rented for stays of five nights or more with no fixed check-out day.

Pets and smoking are not permitted in this apartment.

The “Pilsumer Sternekieker” and “Zum Ankerplatz” apartments (right next door) are located in the same building, should you need more space.

The vacation rental is located in the idyllic village of Pilsum in the Krummhörn region, just a few minutes from the popular fishing village of Greetsiel. Pilsum is best known for its famous red-and-yellow lighthouse and the typical East Frisian landscape of dikes, meadows, and canals.

The surrounding area is perfect for long walks and bike rides. The historic harbor of Greetsiel, with its cafés, restaurants, and the famous twin windmills, as well as the North Sea coast and the Wadden Sea—a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site—are all within easy reach. This makes the vacation rental the ideal starting point for discovering East Frisia in all its facets.
