No frills, modern bang for your buck

Zen properties around Asia are of reliable standard. This was my second booking at Zen In TST, Hong Kong, and the price was very reasonable for a private room with ensuite during peak season. Chungking Mansions is a complex of six residential towers above a commercial space that has become a mecca for Asian and African traders, with exotic eateries, Indian spice supplies, the best value money chamgers in the city, and am endless stream of visitors to the guest houses that occupy a majority of the residential space above. Some rooms are nice than others, but all feel quite safe and serviceable. There's no luxury here though, got which you could try the Historic Peninsula Hotel across the road for ten times the price. Zen offers modern decoration and facilities and great value for money.

Terrible Hotel

The rooms are so small that two people can barely move. We finally left to got to another hotel because it was so ridiculous. The elevators were horrible and sometimes took 20 minutes to get to your floor. Finally we decided even to walk stairs because it was so slow.

やっとの思いで午後11時に着いたホテルがキャンセルされていまして部屋はありませんと言われました。驚きましてカスタマーサービスに電話しました。ホテルの従業員は日本語わかりませんし大変でした。カスタマーサービスさんの担当者と英語で話していましたがこちらには意味が分からない、孫（１５歳）が少し英語話せるので少し意味が分かったが泊る部屋はない、紹介しますから移動してください約2時間ぐらい話し合いタクシーで紹介されたホテルに着いたら従業員は知らない、電話もないと断られました。またカスタマーサービスに連絡し従業員と話していただいてお金を支払えば泊れるこになり悪い部屋ですけど3人で泊まりました（３時３０分でした）、、、最悪だった

こういう所もあるんですね。

ホテルではなく民泊の感じです、一階はペルシャ湾岸地域のひとたちの店がたくさんありたまり場になっていて、その上階がマンションになっており小規模の宿泊所がたくさんあります、オーナーは親切でしたが部屋は狭くトイレもどうにか用を足せるスペースしかなくそこにシャワーがついておりどう使うか状態。夜は他の部屋のいびきがうるさく、一度はいい体験になりますが二度とは泊まりたいと思いません。ホテルではありません。

good staff

Very easy to go every where in Hongkong . Jordan mtr just 5 mins walk from the station , very near Temple street . Many restaurants surrounding . However , only CON thing is they make a lound noise until 3.00 am every night as a few open air restaurant just opposite your room. PRO thing I like is the staff and manager there they all are very nice and help you everything when you requested , I will stay there again very soon !!!

靠近地鐵很方便

一分錢一分貨。訂房前下單前需注意，入住賓館整體評論。及環境衛生等等。也希望智遊網要在網站標示有些賓館，入住時會有什麼不好環境衛生設施等等標註清楚。防止遊客到入住賓館時後悔

I just hate the fact he promises you will have a room and then you end up looking for it yourself.. just don't trust the words.. but the hotel itself is very nice. Filipina staff is very nice.. complete amenities..

이 호텔의 모든 것(장점,단점,기타)을 정리해준다.

2월 말에 방문했는데 생각과 달랐던 점 1. 에어컨이 없음. 물론 홍콩의 겨울은 에어컨이 없으면 안 될 정도로 덥지 않지만 문제는 습도임. 객실 천장에 팬이 있으나 이걸 밤새 켜놓고 자면 솔직히 춥고 지나치게 건조해짐. 그렇다고 끄자니 아침에 일어나보면 몹시 축축한 상황인 걸 느낄 수 있음. 2. 침대 커버가 없음. 내가 가장 싼 객실을 이용해서일지 모르겠으나, 침대보가 따로 없고 매트리스 커버는 보풀이 미친듯이 있었음. 위생상 좋아보이지 않았던 가장 큰 요인임. 3. 만약 당신이 낮에 (12시~2시) 체크인을 하려고 할 시에 주인이 없을 수 있음. 하지만 카운터는 주인 혼자 보는 구조고, 키가 없다면 현관문을 열고 내부로 (카운터로) 들어갈 수가 없음. 즉, 당신은 그냥 하염없이 밖에서 주인을 기다려야 한다는 말임. 숙소로 가는 길에 전화로 주인한테 카운터에 지금 있는지 확인해보시길. 4. 드라이기는 공용임. 아침 일찍 일어나서 가져오지 않는다면 당신은 축축한 머리를 말리기 어려울 듯. 5. 이 숙소는 청킹맨션 12층에 있음. 엘리베이터가 존나 작기 때문에 12층에서 내려올 때는 그냥 계단으로 오는 게 속편할 수도 있음. 계속 기다려봐도 이미 위층에서 사람들이 꽉차서 내려옴. 참고로 7명 정도 타면 풀방되는 크기임. 6. 그리고 1층 분위기가 좀 ㅎㄷㄷ이기 때문에 여자는 밤에 혼자 돌아다니는 거 좀 신경쓰일지도. 좋은점 1. 값이 쌈. 2인실 가장 저렴한 방을 썼는데, 솔직히 이 가격이면 이 정도 시설 감내할 수 있음. 절대 좋은 시설은 아닌데 방 값을 생각하면 뭐... 참아줄만함. 2. 지하철역이 가까움. 대부분의 침사추이쪽 숙소들이 그렇겠지만 여기 역시 지하철역과 가까움. 3. 영화촬영한 건물임. 이 건물 1층에서 중경삼림이라는 영화를 찍었음. 4. 온수가 잘나옴. 단, 오래 쓰면 이미 데워놓은 물이 떨어져서 안 나옴. 그래도 물이 빨리 데워지는 편임. 그외 1. 헤어드라이기, 커피포트, 정수기는 공용임. 2. 화장실 상태 이정도면 괜찮음. 비데는 당연히 없음. 바랄 걸 바래라. 3. 로비에 홍콩 여행지도 있음. 물론 로비는 개 작은 사이즈임. 4. 주인은 대체로 카운터에 없음. 오전이나 저녁시간에는 있는 거 같은데 나머지는 랜덤임. 연락을 위해 한국에서 떠날 때 호텔 번호를 갖고 가면서 있는지 확인해보길. 5. 수건교체 및 객실정리는 매일 해줌. 뭐 객실정리 대단한 건 아니고 환기 정도 시켜주고 쓰레기통 비워줌. 6. 숙소 자체는 안전함. 뭐 문따고 누가 들어올 거 같은 허술한 느낌은 아니니 안전성은 걱정 ㄴㄴ. 7. 방에서 와이파이 잘 됨. 유튜브 안끊기고 잘 나옴. 8. 객실마다 냉장고랑 티비있음. 채널은 4개뿐이고 당연히 영어 자막 따위 없으니 기대는 마라. 9. 콘센트 수가 부족함. 한국에서 멀티탭을 챙겨가길. 10. 방에 거울이 없음. 화장실 벽에 작은 거 하나 있는데 그걸 떼어낼 수 있더라. 우리는 그걸 떼어내서 침대 위에 놓고 아침에 나갈 준비 했음.

交通便利适合临时居住

good service，nice people 老板应该是印度的，很nice，原订的这家没有房了，换了佐敦那边的住宿。交通便利，离各个购物点都不算远，就是房间会很窄，一进门就是床。而且周边太热闹，睡眠不好的人不建议住，该有的设施都有，热水不够热，将就住一晚倒是可以接受的。价钱摆在这，如果想住舒服一点的就不要选啦。

Certainly one to avoid. Small and dirty.

Would certainly avoid this place - it is far from being a good place to stay. It's one of those really huge blocks that contain a mixed bag of everything and guesthouses. Arrived to be then escorted to a different part of the building as there was no room where I originally booked. It was a cramped room without a working toilet (the lady manning the place assumed it was okay to fill the toilet manually with water from the shower in order for it to flush). That's another thing, the toilet and shower are essentially in the same square foot area. No exaggeration! Room didn't look like it had been cleaned and there were cockroaches I later discovered. I was there for 3 nights too long and on second night got moved because they needed my room for a couple so was then in an even smaller room. Didn't even know that was possible. I booked in here because it was the cheapest place in HKG at the time, but really it is worth paying a little bit more than staying here. Avoid at all costs! Only positive was the wifi was good!

Unsafe location

Queen bed is indeed a super single bed. No space as no 2 persons can stand in the room at the same time. Do not feel safe while getting to the hostel as too many Indian foreigners are roaming around.

Location is good

I have booked for 3 nights, 1st night Kumar (reception) gave me room#1 which is very small (around 4 sqm.) no refrigerator but room is clean and they have window so no smell bothering. (I have booked for double room which stated that size is 11sqm.) on 2nd-3th nights I have changed to room#8 bigger room with refrigerator but other facilities is not good. TV is on wall can not adjustable you can not sleep and see TV because it's flat. Toilet pipe has very bad smell, pillow sheet and blanket doubt on cleaning, there are some solid stains on with weird smell. Elevator is located on left side to reach 12F, it take times to wait. Overall is acceptable. Kumar has good service mind and always on reception desk.

Okay, but not exclusively acceptable

The room was okay. What one could expect from a cheap room in Chung King mansions. It's near the MTR which makes the entire city very accessible. The WiFi works like a charm. Unfortunately there were two gigantic downsides of the place. There were drug dealers everywhere, you could literally not exit the building without being approached tens of times by Indian salesmen trying to sell you various narcotics, they were very insisting too which made it very uncomfortable. Secondly, the receptionist was sleeping on the floor in the reception, the loudest snoring we had ever experienced. And he was coughing and making strange noises all night, every night. It made it very difficult to fall asleep. In the early morning he woke up, and some other people came and had very loud long conversations with him every morning, which again made it very difficult to sleep. Every night and morning his loud sleeping noises and conversations would wake us up. Besides that he was a genuine guy. Offering help and greeting us nicely. If you can get a room on the island, that is always better. Read about Chung King mansion on Wikipedia before staying there.

위치가 좋은 호스텔

침사추이 청킹맨션 안에 위치한 호스텔이에요. 정말 핫플레이스에 위치해서 여기저기 구경하고 돌아오기도 좋고, 공항에서 늦은시간까지 호스텔까지 오는 버스가 있어서 편리해요. 싼 가격만큼 호화스러운 시설은 없고, 방 안에 화장실이 있는건 편한데 굉장히 좁아요. 따뜻한 물은 잘나왔고, 대체적으로 가격대비 만족이였습니다.

予約と違う部屋に案内されました。重慶大厦から徒歩1分の美麗都大厦まで移動。２日の滞在でしたがゴキブリを何匹も退治しました。ベッドの下に謎の残置物あり。リュックやDVDケース、使用済のティッシュやゴミがあり、気持ち悪いです。シーツはシミがありカビっぽい。
