Villa Soléa sits on a green hillside in Kostrena, a quietly beautiful stretch of the Croatian Adriatic, where the town\'s pebble beaches and hidden coves, in bays such as Žurkovo and Podražica, are known for exceptionally clear, cool water fed by underwater springs. It makes a wonderful base for a slow seaside holiday, with swimming, coastal walks and long lazy days by the water less than a 10-minute drive away.

There is plenty to explore within half an hour\'s drive from the villa. Historic Rijeka, with its lively waterfront, museums and the hilltop Trsat Castle, is close by, the elegant belle-époque resort of Opatija and its seaside Lungomare promenade a short drive around the bay, and the island of Krk, reached by bridge, opens up still more beaches and villages. Rijeka Airport, on Krk, is approximately a 30-minute drive from this holiday villa in Kostrena.
