Unobstructed knockout views! Imagine yourself in this gorgeous location with amazing front row seats, 30 feet to the Pacific Ocean. Whales, turtles and dolphins swim by right out your door! See the stunning sunsets and views of the volcanic Poipu coast all year from your lanai. Listen to the sound of the waves as they lull you to sleep or close the doors for blissful peace of heavy surf happens. This corner unit provides abundant cool tropical breezes all year round. This is the perfect place to enjoy your Hawaiian escape.

The unit is spacious and fully upgraded with top-of-the-line Tempur-Pedic beds, split system air conditioning in the living room and both bedrooms, and every imaginable cooking toy in the kitchen. There is a sunken living room, large master bathroom with double sinks, and a large closet with permanently attached safe.

Delight yourself with the amenities the Makahuena offers including saltwater pool, Jacuzzi, and pickleball/tennis court on the premises. Also, enjoy the full privileges at the Poipu Beach Athletic Club (PBAC) for up to 5 people to use the outdoor gym, pool, pickleball, and tennis courts.

A leisurely walk or short drive takes you to you to famous beaches, shops, restaurants, golf courses, botanical gardens and many more other activities right in Poipu.

I stayed for 4 nights with my husband and 2 kids. Everything was wonderful. Views were amazing. Each morning we saw whales, turtles, or dolphins from the lanai. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was well equipped. Trail adjacent to the property was a lovely hike. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Great place to experience Poipu!

Beautiful condo with stunning views. We loved it! The only issue we had was finding the place when we arrived in the dark and rain. The building is quite a ways from the parking lot. Luckily there were two kind neighbors who escorted us to the building and helped carry stuff. Host was very responsive to all of my many questions. Nicely stocked kitchen, snorkeling gear, beach towels etc. I would happily return to this property.

Amazing stay! Sophia was quick to respond to any questions that we had. A very comfortable place in a beautiful location. Short distance to a great hike along the shore one way and the Poipu beach the other way. Check out the lava arch adjacent the property, super cool!

Pros:Great location! Turtles and dolphins and sunset! Relatively quiet for a bottom floor condo.Clean with most amenities accounted for.Sophia was extremely responsive in communicating.Nice pool and access to the local gym.Walking distance to several beaches.Cons:Large deposit.Many rules including DO NOT BRING SAND INTO THE CONDO. How can you stay on an island at a beach location? This last bit colored our stay as we were so paranoid of breaking this rule, among the many others...with the large deposit we were constantly worried that a grain of sand in the condo would cost us our deposit. There is no easy way to rinse your feet prior to entering the unit - we would stop at the pool area to rinse and dry before going in. The directions stated that beach accessories such as boogie board were stored in the closet but they were not. By the time we inquired with Sophia (we did not want to get accused of stealing the equipment), we had already rented the equipment only to find out from Sophia the equipment was stored on the side of the unit in a storage bin.

Amazing location! Looks right over crashing waves. Spacious, had everything we needed. Both beds super comfortable. Air conditioning the best we’ve had anywhere in Hawaii. Responsive host. We’ll hope to stay here next time.

Fantastic Stay

Great location, quiet, clean, right on the water. The pictures do not do justice. The pool, BBQ, and parking were all easily accessed and clean. Full washer and dryer, beach chairs, ice chests, towels and umbrella were available. Hoping to come back!

Everything We Wanted

We have stayed in other units in the same complex, and decided to splurge this time by getting one at the ocean's edge. The wildlife viewing from the lanai was outstanding, there is a small blow-hole in the cliffs that is fun to watch, and the sunsets were memorable. We had plenty of space, comfortable beds, and the unit was well stocked with kitchenware and bath needs. The owner/manager responded quickly to any questions I had. Would love to stay again!

Fabulous all the way around

Excellent communication from the moment we booked through the end of the stay. Very comfortable lanai. Amazing views. Great amenities. Friend said to say it was wonderful to have pillow choices. All in all…we’re going back to THIS place!

A Perfect Location

Such a perfect place! We've stayed in several places around Poipu, but this one was the best, from watching the dolphins and turtles from the lanai, to the SUNSETS - just spectacular. The property description was accurate, and we found it very clean and easy to check in. The starter set of supplies was very welcome! The condo had everything we needed and we met several wonderful people at the pool. Communication with the property manager was A, even answering a question on Easter morning! A very relaxing and beautiful location - thank you for making our anniversary trip one to remember! We plan to return as soon as we can!

Absolutely love everything about this unit, the amenities, very comforting mattresses, and all.

Everything was said about the unit is right on. Our family of 5 adults stayed comfortably. The unit provided all of the amenities that we were looking for. The bed mattresses were so comfortable. The unit was cleaned. We appreciate all of the welcomed Hawaii treats. We will definitely stay here again in the future.
