Kuhio Shores 417, Oceanfront, Amazing Ocean View

Kuhio Shores is on the sunny South Shore of Poipu Beach and is small and quiet. It extends out into the ocean so that there is water on each side. Our condo has an expansive ocean view from wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room and dining room. The ocean is all you can see from the lanai!

Our condo is on the ocean side of the building with great views of the surfers, dolphins, turtles and sunsets! The condo 2 bedroom condo has 5 Ft more window, living room and lanai space than the other ocean side one bedrooms at Kuhio Shores and is as close as you can possibly get to the waters edge.

Best of all, our condo is on the top level so you are surrounded by ocean, sky and surf. You can walk around to nice beaches on each side of the building that are famous for snorkeling and surfing. The lanai is also a great place to lounge and soak up the sun and ocean breeze. Or to just watch the waves, birds, porpoises, turtles, whales, and surfers!

Jack was very helpful throughput our stay. The unit is clean and well equiped. The furnishings have been updated since the pictures were taken for VRBO. The views from the lanai are gorgeous. The bed in the master bedroom is the most comfortable we have had in a rental. I would stay here again without a doubt.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this oceanfront condo in Kauai! From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the breathtaking views from the balcony.The living space was bright and airy, and the large sliding doors made it easy to enjoy the indoor-outdoor island lifestyle. The location was close to beaches, restaurants, and local attractions, yet peaceful and quiet enough to feel like a true escape. It was the perfect home base for exploring all the natural beauty Kauai has to offer.

This condo was perfect for our Kauai vacation. The views from the balcony and dining room are just stunning. So fun watching surfers, whales and sunsets right from the deck. Condo was very well stocked with everything you would need to prepare a meal. It also had brand new beach chairs which were very convenient. Overall it was an excellent stay.

We had the most beautiful week in this Kuhio Shores condo celebrating our 30th Anniversary. The condo was beautiful and has the most amazing views. It was clean and well stocked. Jack was quick to respond to questions. We are already talking about when we can make a return trip.

It wasn’t quite what I expected. With the pictures shown on Vrbo it looks more upscale than it was. The views were great until the scaffolding arrive and destroyed the view out the dining room windows. The kitchen had leftovers (condiments in frig that some had expired. I don’t think we would stay there again.

Beautiful condo on the edge of the crashing waves. It was like a home away from home. The balcony was a spectacular place to have morning coffee and evening nightcaps. Adding pics below! The location was perfect and close to lots of shops and restaurants. The beach was convenient four minute drive. We will definitely return for a future trip! Thank you Jack and Tanya!

We enjoyed our stay. The view was great. It was a little out of the way for convenience.The second bed did not seem like a queen size rather closer to a double bed. The carpet was either dirty or stained. Found a rather large, dead cockroach in the main bedroom.Jack was very responsive to dead batteries in the remotes for air conditioning. Overall it was not a bad experience and the views were fantastic. The snorkeling next to the condo was the best we experienced with a less protected area from wave action.

Loved this Condo and the view. My favorite time was morning coffee and fruit on the Lanai over looking the ocean, watching the turtles and surfers. Condo was very clean and beds were very comfortable! We will be back for sure! Also you couldn’t ask for a better location on the island. Close to poipu beach, shopping and amazing restaurants!

Fantastic Location on South Kauai

LOVED the view of the ocean! So fun to watch the turtles and surfers. The covered lanai was private with new furniture for relaxing and eating outside. Within minutes of great food trucks and shopping. We snorkeled, surfed and went scuba diving right in this area. Also not to be missed, a drive to the mountains on the west side of Kauai (an hour away) to overlooks and hiking in Waimea Canyon and Kokee State Park. We stayed on the north side of the island for 5 days and then came to the south side and stayed in this condo for 7 days which was perfect. During our transition day, we stopped in east Kauai to kayak and hike to a waterfall. A perfect vacation in Hawaii! Jack was the perfect host, extremely responsive and friendly. We didn't have any issues but still knew Jack was available if we needed him. Thank you for an amazing stay in your home on South Kauai!

A week in Paradise

The condo lived up to its description and more. Location is fantastic, nice view of weddings next door, glimpses of turtles, great surf-watching. Everything was spotless and very comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen. Jack was attentive and very prompt in respinding to questions. I can’t say enough good things about it.
