Various restaurants, bakeries, and a supermarket, as well as public transportation, are all within a short walking distance.

Königstein is the perfect starting point for exploring the Elbe Sandstone Mountains with their breathtaking rock formations. Trains to Dresden and Meissen run regularly from the train station, which is within walking distance. Right in front of the building is a bus stop with connections to many attractions in Saxon Switzerland. The large table mountains in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, Königstein Fortress, Lilienstein, and Pfaffenstein, as well as the famous Bastei Bridge, are all within walking distance of the vacation rental. You can safely leave your car in the vacation rental’s free parking lot during your stay, as many public transportation options in the national park are free to use thanks to the guest card.

GUEST TAX
The city of Königstein charges a guest tax of €3.00 per person per night. For children between the ages of 7 and 17, as well as apprentices and students up to age 26, the reduced guest tax is €2.50 per person per day of stay. Children under 7 are exempt from the guest tax. The day of arrival and the day of departure each count as one day. The total amount is to be paid on-site upon arrival, in addition to the booking fees.
In return, guests receive a guest card offering numerous discounts (e.g., free public transportation).
