"Auf dem Heidchen" Vacation Home, on the edge of the forest, with a sauna and a large garden

Our beautiful vintage cottage is situated on a hill at the edge of a former small vacation area, surrounded by forest on three sides. The property, spanning just under 1,500 square meters, borders the forest on two sides and offers a view of the entire valley and the surrounding countryside. Here, you can experience nature in its purest form.

Since it was built, the house has been used only a few days a year as a high-end private vacation home. The furnishings are therefore still in very good “original condition” and are rented out as “vintage.” Immerse yourself in the 1980s—almost everyone will find “relics” of their childhood here. A spring-coil sofa, a CRT television, tapestries, an Allibert sink, and gold-rimmed tableware take our guests on a journey back in time.

Our little village of Knüllwald-Niederbeisheim is just a 10-minute walk away. Here you’ll find a small grocery store, a tennis court, an outdoor swimming pool, and a bee museum. Various restaurants are located in and around the surrounding towns. The “Böser Wolf” off-road park is located two towns away. The area is also known for its beautiful hiking and biking trails.

Niederbeisheim is located in the Knüllwald region of northern Hesse (also known as “Little Red Riding Hood Country”), which has direct access to the A7 highway. The towns of Melsungen, Homberg/Efze, Rotenburg an der Fulda, and Fritzlar are within easy reach. A little further away, world-famous attractions such as Bergpark Bad Wilhelmshöhe,
the Museum Landscape Hessen Kassel, and Lake Eder beckon.
