  • Get away to the country in beautiful, rural Powell. Situated just 15 minutes north of Knoxville on a working farmstead. Enjoy your stay in this house built in the early 1900's and which was lovingly renovated in 2020. This fresh, cozy home has 2BR, 1BA with a queen sleeper sofa. Sleeps 7 and is ideal for families as the only bathroom is accessed through the master suite. Fully equipped kitchen and laundry room, an outdoor deck, wifi, and lots of East Tennessee charm.

Ken’s cute little cottage was perfect. Clean , comfortable and the added bit of nature at its finest with sheep and cows to watch across the road as you sit on the front porch or look out the windows was solace for my soul.the cottage was stocked with anything you might need, thank you Ken and family for sharing your cottage. Wonderful relaxing stay in convenient location!

My adult daughter and I enjoyed our time together in this cute, well-equipped cottage. Everything was in perfect working order. The beds were very comfortable and the owner was extremely responsive. The cottage is conveniently located within 20 minutes of two State parks. We were able to easily access hiking trails each day of our stay!

Pleasant relaxing stay

This was a clean comfortable vacation stay. Having a washer and dryer available and plenty of clean towels was a plus. The kitchen was very well set up also. We would stay at this property on our next visit.

Enjoyable stay at this country home

We really enjoyed staying at this country home. My husband loved petting the friendly cows and we both relaxed in the rockers on the front porch. The house was clean and had anything you needed including snacks.

Clean and comfy farmhouse

Our family of 6 enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was very clean and was well stocked for our 2 night stay. The owner is super nice and took time to show us their farm animals, which my kids loved.

Beautifully remodeled home in a quiet setting.

My family of six enjoyed our short getaway at this property. 20 minutes to Knoxville & 1 hour to Pigeon Forge, traffic permitting. Close enough to everything else you would need. We’ll definitely stay again when in the area.

A home away from home

last minute stay

The house is very clean and cute! Quick responses to all questions and requests. The host approved a late check-out, so we had somewhere to stay until our lake house was ready at Lake Norris. My kids love visiting the animals with the help of the host family's friend. One recommendation would be to change the photo of the home since it is a different color. We did pass the house at first because it does not look like the photo at all. The new blue color is beautiful!

Absolutely amazing!

Small house perfect for family time. The house was very well maintained, clean, and well stocked with supplies. Host was helpful with the entire stay. Our kids loved the animals and enjoyed watching them first thing in the morning. Quiet neighborhood that wasn’t too far from stores. Overall extremely pleased with our stay and would love to stay again!

Fall Break Vacay

The house was absolutely lovely!!! You couldn’t have asked for a cleaner, more beautiful place to stay. The host and his family were wonderful, even allowing my children to help feed the chickens. It was nice to get my children away from all their creature comforts and enjoy some of the country side. If I could rate our stay on a scale of 1 out of 10, I would give it a100!!!
