"Less than 5 mins walk to City Square so perfect location. Checkin was so easy with staff so polite and helpful. They informed us we had been given a free room upgrade which was not only ideal but most unexpected. Room had a well equipped kitchenette bedroom and bathroom facilities all so clean. We had in all a wonderful weekend at the Chambers and would definately recommend a stay there. Big thank you once again to all the staff for making our stay so special. Kind Regards David & Shirley "

"Staff were super friendly and helpful, the room was immaculate and nicely done up for valentines day. We had not asked for this, it was something they did a little extra which was really nice. The coffee machine facilities were kept impeccably clean also, everything was wonderfully neat. The hotel itself did look a little dated/ tired, but the service and cleanliness of the room were brilliant. I would stay here again."

"The apartment was comfortable, clean, tidy and convenient for access to the racecourse or for access to York by car. It’s about a half hour walk to the city centre. There's a local bakery and convenience store nearby and we found on street parking for one car. In the first floor apartment, There’s a small kitchen with a full cooker, microwave, kettle, fridge and washer dryer. The dining table only seats four so you may need to also sit on a bed. The beds are comfortable with bedding and towels...
