The Tree House is well equipped for the whole family -- including pets! Keep Fido safe with the installed safety gates on the top level as well as medium and large size dog crates provided. The whole family will enjoy using the extra recreational items such as bikes, beach chairs and beach cart available at the Tree House. The large, open kitchen provides all the conveniences and is a perfect place to cook up that freshly caught fish or those farmer's market vegetables.
Rather cook outdoors? A gas grill is provided. And, with dining room seating for 10 plus a breakfast bar, family meals will be a breeze! Sun and shade decks as wells as a cozy screened in porch offer multiple areas to relax, enjoy the scenery, and curl up with a good book!
Located in the neighborhood of Caffey's Inlet, The Tree House is nearby the private community sound access with picnic and grilling area, gazebo and dock--perfect for kayaking, crabbing, and more! Just a short walk down the street to the private beach access with area for parking bikes, strollers, beach carts, etc.
Only a short drive to Downtown Duck, where you can park and spend all day on the boardwalk exploring the local shops and eateries. You're also a close drive to the town of Corolla for a day of exploring historical sites including the Whalehead Club and The Currituck Lighthouse.

Què hi ha als voltants

  • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly.
