Ground Level: Exterior amenities include patio seating with a pergola and a deck swing. Carport with a gas grill and an outside shower. You'll also find a storage area with a full-size refrigerator, beverage refrigerator, beach carts, beach chairs and beach toys. Rec room with pool table and half bath both accessible from outside only.

Mid Level: Great room with flat-screen TV/ Blu-Ray DVD and sound bar, dining room seating 8 with deck access and the kitchen with stainless steel appliances and breakfast bar seating 2. King Master Bedroom with flat-screen TV and private deck access, Queen Bedroom with flat-screen TV, full hallway bathroom and a Bedroom with 2 Bunk Sets and flat-screen TV. Foyer entry and laundry area with washer and dryer.

Top Level: Master Bedroom with 2 Queen Beds, flat-screen TV and deck access with stunning ocean and sound views!

Extras: 5 TVs, Blu-Ray DVD player, pool table, gas grill, high speed internet access, books, outside shower, 2 deck swings, beach chairs, beach carts, beach toys, 2 full size refrigerators, parking for 4 vehicles and community pool. Linens and towels provided at no additional cost. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made with the exception of sleep sofas, top bunks and trundle beds in which case the sheets are provided. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the house sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom and a bathmat for each shower or tub.

Stunning views

We lived our stay at Farrview! The beach is a short walk and the views of the sound from multiple vantage points were gorgeous! We spent many hours in the comfy gliders and swing on the decks. The kids loved playing ping pong on the lower patio. We were sad to leave, but can't wait to come back ❤

Good house, poor listing and property managers

Firstly, check the fine print. When we went, the listing prominently featured a picture of a ping pong table. When there wasn't one there, we called the property manager and they declared that we are not to trust the pictures of the listing - only the text - and they promised to remove the misleading photo. Add to that the fact they didn't answer a single email I sent them. I had to call, and predictably they didn't really have an answer to my question since it was about feature of the property I wouldn't expect them to know off hand, which is why I emailed them - so they could research the question. The property itself was clean, but all we had to do was sweep the edges and corners to find the spots they missed. No nasty toilets or bathrooms and the exterior areas were all new and free of debris, but the ease with which we found cut corners doesn't inspire confidence in their cleaning process. Beyond that, the house was great! It had the best master bathroom I've ever had in a vacation home and it made good use of space - it features a large great room for the family to congregate in and it has some of the better views of the sound that you're likely to get. It's also well situated north of duck, so you can get the convenience of that charming town with easier access to the far better beaches of Corolla (it's still a bit of a drive, but you don't have to drive through duck to get there!).

Property met our needs; furniture was comfortable. The outside of the property and deck furniture were proliferated with spider webs, spiders and bug dirt. Cleaning of inside was below average; sandy bathroom floors, significant dust on baseboards and wall hangings as well as cobwebs on ceiling lights and fans. A vacuum cleaner was available however brooms and dust pans were either unavailable or were in very poor condition.

infested with spiders, roaches, Extremely dirty, with zero essentials

We had to purchase everything. No trashbags and no toilet paper. Not even 99-cent salt and pepper. The property has not been powerwashed in what looks like years with an infestation of spiders and roaches, making all of the decks and inhospitable. The master bedroom was nice, but the rest of the rooms were very grungy. Instead of replacing low-cost items, like blinds and coffee maker, there was just letters from the owners about not using broken features of those items. The house also wasn't cleaned very well. Caked in black mold and dust on the headboards. The sliding glass doorslide was caked in with dead bugs that it was black with bodies. We had to go back to the office to specifically ask for our pool code and parking pass and the code ended up being wrong, so it was kind of a waste. The only plus was that there were smart tvs throughout the house, a 8-min walk to the beach, and beach supplies.

Great views and location

Great location - just about a mile north of the town of Duck. It's on a little rise, so you have great views of the sound and the ocean. Sadly we had some bad weather on our trip, so we availed ourselves to the great selection of board games and TV streaming services. Little community pool was clean and great for the kids. Easy walk to beach and lots of beach equipment available in the storage room. Nice restaurant right on the corner. House itself was clean and well stocked. (Watch out for the midges (tiny flying bugs I never heard of until last week)! They swarmed us one night....yuck). Overall, we were really happy with out choice of Farrview!
