Sea Dog Escape is a new home, built in 2021, located in a cul-de-sac just steps away from Duck Village which features great restaurants, shops, and live music venues. Gather your beach gear and take a quick walk down Christopher Drive to spend a great day at the beach before taking a dip in the water in your private outdoor pool. The lovely, modern coastal decor of this one-level-living vacation rental offers something for the entire family, including your dogs. Sea Dog Escape is the perfect beach house to make OBX family vacation memories!

Ground Level: Fully gated private pool with poolside cabana including a bar, bar stools and gas grill. This back yard was designed for fun in the sun! Carport with outside shower, foot wash, and under house parking.

Top Level: Open living areas allow everyone to spend time together! Great room with comfy seating, flat-screen TV and deck access. Dining area seating 8 with screened porch access, overlooking the pool area, offering additional dining and lounging options. Kitchen with stainless appliances, quartz countertops and breakfast bar with seating for 4. King Master Bedroom with flat-screen TV and private bathroom. Queen Master Bedroom with flat-screen TV and private bathroom, and a King Bedroom with flat-screen TV that shares a full hall bathroom with a Bedroom with 2 Bunk Sets and flat-screen TV. Laundry area with washer and dryer.

Extras: Private Pool (11 x 20, heated for $300 per week), 5 flat-screen TVs, screened porch, outside dining, gas grill, high speed internet, poolside cabana, outside shower, foot wash, standard and Keurig coffee makers, books & games, parking for 6 vehicles and linens and towels provided. No Smoking. Dogs Welcome (2 max, 50 lbs each. No Pit Bulls, German Shepherds, or Rottweilers). Seasonal Flex Stay available from October 1 - May 15. Beds: 2 King, 1 Queen, 2 Bunk Sets. Pool can be heated for an additional weekly fee of $300 (plus tax). Pool temperatures vary in degree of warmth and temperature cannot be guaranteed. Pool heaters typically heat the pool 10 degrees above ambient air temperature. Refunds will not be issued due to inclement weather or pool temperature.

Linens and towels provided at no additional cost. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made with the exception of sleep sofas, top bunks and trundle beds in which case the sheets are provided. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the house sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

Què hi ha als voltants

  • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly.
