Este "Oceanfront", segundo piso, Colony by the Sea Condominium ofrece muchas comodidades y está en una excelente ubicación. Camina a la playa en solo un minuto. Camina hasta las tiendas, restaurantes, tiendas o mercado de Duck. Observe a los delfines desde su terraza, sala de estar o cocina. Muebles renovados, electrodomésticos y una cómoda cama complementan este retiro de vacaciones. Hay dos televisores de pantalla plana con cable y un reproductor de DVD. Disfrutarás visitando Corolla a unas 10 millas de distancia ... más tiendas, restaurantes, karts, putt-putt y muchas actividades para niños. Las tiendas de comestibles están a 6-7 millas de distancia del condominio. Recomendaría tomarse el tiempo para ir a las tiendas de comestibles en comparación con las pequeñas tiendas locales en Duck, ya que son muy caras.

Recuerde traer sus propias toallas, sábanas, fundas de almohadas y cualquier otra ropa de cama que pueda necesitar. Usted tiene la opción de alquilar todas sus sábanas si desea, puedo proporcionarle el número de teléfono y la compañía le entregará y recogerá todas sus sábanas. Great spot

Nice views of the ocean and quick access to the beach. Quiet and comfy bed! Just don’t forget sheets and towels as they aren’t provided! There’s a goodwill and Walmart super close if you need linens!

Long weekend get away.

We had a great stay at this condo! Beautiful setting and condo had everything we needed. I just wish there had been an elevator, but it wasn’t a deal breaker. I highly recommend this rental.

Perfect Getaway Location

We decided last minute to take a short trip to the Outer Banks. Rick was very responsive and communicative. And the condo is a wonderful location with easy beach access and a wonderful view. We had everything we needed during our stay. Would certainly stay again. Hopefully for longer next time.

Wonderful but bring your soap and earplugs!

Everything that the owner of this property did was wonderful except .....I suggest he provide some bars of soap to wash with. When asked if there was soap, we were instructed to use the liquid bottles of Dove and other watered down soap left by prior occupants. These were locked in closet we were given the combination to get in. When paying $400 a night, having soap is not a lot to ask for. Also our stay was somewhat impacted by whoever stayed above us. There was constant noise in the room above us from 6 Am onward. Stomping noises, chairs and furntiure being dragged across the floor, etc. I had earplus and was OK but my husband was kept awake. Now this is not the owners fault of our particular unit, but he might want to speak with whoever owns the above unit and give them hell for us! Other than that we really enjoyed our stay. Easy access to the pool and the beach and the condo had everything we needed but for the soap

Perfect for our family of four. Loved the balcony and the beautiful ocean views! We were there in the height of the summer and the condo still felt very quiet and supper relaxing, we will definitely be back. Rick was very easy to communicate with, helpful and thorough with information, giving us our best experience. We just got home and we miss it already!

Beautiful oceanfront condo in a great location

We had a wonderful stay at this oceanfront condo in Duck. The condo and pool were clean, and it was in a great location to visit the local restaurants and shops in Duck. We also had great communication with the host, and we appreciated the extra amenities that were provided. We would not hesitate to book here again!

Sleeps 5, best for 2

Great property in great location. I know that condo technically sleeps 5, but that would be very tight, in my opinion. Seating area in common area -- also a bed -- sits 4 as does the kitchen table. Two chairs on the balcony. Kitchen is tight, so if you plan to cook, not a lot of counter space. Adequate beach chairs, with umbrella, tent and boogies boards -- though we only used 2 chairs. We had trouble with the TV, though our host was very responsive in trying to help us. For 2 people this condo fit the bill. Good cummunication with Rick, our host.

Having to provide linen (sheets and towels) seems odd as I have stayed at other places there at OBX that provided them. Other than that, can't complain. Nice views. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

Moms Weekend Getaway

Nice location, great view of the pool and ocean. Much needed getaway; it rained almost the whole time but we enjoyed our time indoors with games, snacks, and drinks! The condo is welcoming and nicely decorated, the beds are comfortable and the updates are great! Rick was very communicative with plenty of tips and helpful info, made it easy to reach him if we needed. One suggestion I would make is to reverse the door on the fridge, it's annoying to open against the wall. We had dinner the first night at NC Coast Grill in Duck, highly recommend! Salmon and scallop dishes were fantastic. Breakfast at the Treehouse on our way home was also delicious. We enjoyed ourselves completely, already talking about our next trip!

We loved our stay! The apartment is just as described. We also want to thank Rick. My husband forgot his scarf, gloves and a hat I knit for him 20+ years ago. When we told Rick that we forgot this, he responded immediately. The next day, these were shipped to us. Thansk Rick!

Great fall weekend getaway!

Great location and nice view from deck! Very private locations yet could easily walk to restaurants and shops and took lovely strolls on the beach in front and on the Duck boardwalk nearby. Rick was easy to communicate with although we didn't need his help with anything.

Great getaway!

REALLY enjoyed our stay here. Listened to the ocean while relaxing on the deck. Walked to the shops, and restaurants. Walked right out the door and along the beach in both directions. Just difficult to imagine a better location. Rick, the owner checked in with us via text, and provided all the information we needed for our stay. Excellent host! The condo was clean and updated. We definitely hope to stay here again.

Amazing Host and Property

I’ve booked various rentals over many years. Clearly the host cares about updating their property in many ways continually to ensure the experience and stay is comfortable. I have stayed at the property previously and versus now, so I have seen the updates first hand. I truly appreciate that as a guest. New and comfortable master mattress, updated TVs for Roku/streaming, a new front door, etc. Plenty of beach supplies (chairs, toys). Lastly, the communication and helpfulness of the host is by far the best I’ve experienced. Overall, the condo complex is older and shows on the outside, but once you get into the unit it is perfectly comfortable, well maintained and updated, and has spectacular views of/proximity to the beach!

Duck Experience

Great experience in Duck. Rick was responsive, unit was just as shown. Location is perfect for easy access to everything. Stunning views of sunrises and sunsets from comfy deck chairs.

Amazing views

The location and views were incredible! Communication with the owner was great and he graciously arranged for us to check in one hour early due to arriving in town early. There are a lot of stairs to lug your stuff up and down but the view was great worth it! The bathrooms/showers are pretty tight but functional. Thanks for sharing your place with others, Rick!

Short stay on the beach

Although the outside of the building isn't anything to write home about, the inside of the unit was well-appointed with everything we needed except for ice, since the ice machine was broken (Rick let us know ahead of time). We didn't spend much time inside the condo, but enjoyed the proximity to the beach and the pool. The location of the condo is great, and if you have a bike, you can reach plenty of shops and restaurants in no time. I would recommend the condo to others! Just remember king-size sheets--we only have a queen size bed at home and our sheets didn't quite fit the bed!

Very Nice Visit!!

This cozy condo had everything you could need for your stay. Rick was so pleasant from start to finish. Our view from the deck was gorgeous. Checking in and out was a breeze. Would definately recommend for a nice get away.
