Breezy Banks: New Private Pool, Hot Tub, Community Amenities (Pickleball)

Breezy Banks is an impeccably maintained home, that provides plenty of room for relaxing with family and friends. Enjoy the sunset from the west-facing decks and screened porch. Conveniently located and walking distance within a few minutes from the soundside pier, community amenities which include a large pool and tennis/pickleball courts. Walk or drive to the private community beach access on the oceanside with free parking or take a short bike ride to the center of the Town of Duck which has plenty of shops and eateries to choose from. [Note: no dogs or other animals are allowed in this home.]

Beds: 3 Kings (2 Masters), 1 Queen Master, 2 Bunk Bed Sets; 12 Towel Sets provided

TOP LEVEL:
Located on the top level is a Great Room with cathedral ceiling in the living area with a flat-screen TV that has streaming choices. Next, the dining area (seats 8), kitchen island (seats 4) and a well-stocked kitchen with appliances including a single-serve (pod) coffee maker. A half bath is located nearby and a King Master Suite with private deck access, soaking tub and separate shower. Guests have access to the sun deck with screened porch that has an outdoor table to enjoy dining outside. [Note: gas fireplace is not available for guest use.]

MID LEVEL:
This level has 4 bedrooms which flank the den in the center of the floor. The King bedroom has shared bathroom that is between another bedroom has 2 Bunk Bed Sets. Across the floor, there is both a King Master Suite which has a shower/tub combo is its master bath and a Queen Master Suite that has a shower in its master bath. All the TVs have streaming options for entertainment enjoyment.

GROUND LEVEL:
A large, comfortable Lounge area has a wet bar with wine cooler plus an ice maker appliance to keep your beverages cool; there's a second refrigerator available also for storing extra beverages and groceries. The Shuffleboard table is a new addition to this room. There is a full hall bath (shower) available. The laundry area is located on this level. An outdoor shower is available before using the private pool (11' x 30'; open mid-May to mid-October) and the hot tub that is located near the pool deck. There is parking for 3-4 vehicles in the driveway.

EXTRAS:
Besides the Tuckahoe community pool (with bathrooms and showers) and tennis court (also has pickleball lines), there is access to a private beach access for guests with free parking (one parking pass is provided); it is approximately 1/2 mile away from this home.

Què hi ha als voltants

  • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. This was an absolutely beautiful home. It was exactly as pictured - clean, well maintained and well stocked kitchen. Each bedroom with its own bathroom was perfect. The house layout was ideal - offering multiple spaces so everyone could spread out and have privacy, multiple decks, screened in porch, downstairs game room . The pool area was terrific and the pool was very clean and very private. The hot tub was also clean and very private. A parking pass to the gorgeous private beach was provided but we found we mostly walked - only 6-7 minutes through the peaceful, quiet neighborhood. Lovely, friendly neighbors (and dogs!). We took advantage of the community tennis court which was very accessible. And then a short 5 minute drive to all the wonderful shops and restaurants in the town of Duck. The boardwalk and little town park are so beautiful. We could not have enjoyed our stay more or asked for a more ideal home .

We loved, loved, loved our stay at Breezy Banks. The kitchen was full stocked with everything we needed. The home was clean and nicely maintained. We spent the mornings at the beach which was within walking distance, and afternoons by the pool. The grill ran out of gas while we were there but a quick call to Paramount, and a replacement tank was delivered the following morning. We loved the home and the setting. We would definitely go back!

We enjoyed a wonderful week at Breezy Banks as a family, six adults and four children. The house was comfortable, well equipped and spacious. The pool, hot tub, and double outdoor showers were the highlight and the children loved coming back to the pool at the end of a beach day! The home was in an excellent location with easy access to the beach and shopping. Our rating would have been a five if it wasn't for the following: house was not ready at 4:00, this was very frustrating with four children after a long drive. We were given excuses and little support, once in the house there were areas that had not been cleaned well such as behind bathroom doors, trash left out by the pool. Additionally, both the dryer and dishwasher took forever to complete a cycle, the dryer often had to be run 2-3 times to dry a load of towels. Overall, we had a fantastic family vacation! Thank you.

Fantastic property, perfect for our 3 gen family. The pool is superb and the property was better than the description as it has absolutely everything you could need. We hit the beach by 10am each morning and there were still plenty of community parking spots left. Loved Duck too!

Family Vacation

We loved staying in Duck at Breezy Banks. The house was lovely and only a short walk from the beach and town. We spent a lot of time in the pool and hot tub. Wonderful place to stay.

Family time

The house was fantastic, beautiful place. We had the best time. The place was very clean and spacious. Our little family had so much fun together there. Kitchen was stocked with all the pots and pans and utensils we needed. I will definitely be back. It is three stories and the stairs got me a little bit. I’m not used to stairs or at least not that many. lol. Love staying there though!!
