This home offers a spectacular horizon ocean view and is located one mile from the Village of Duck. Guests are just a short walk from the community tennis courts and pool. Enjoy crabbing/sunset on the gated, soundside pier, or take a short walk to the ocean. After a day of fun in the sun, walk the Duck trail to the park, village amphitheater (free concerts), soundside boardwalk, Duck shops and restaurants. This is the perfect vacation home!
Level 1:

2 bedrooms (1 with Twins, 1 with Pyramid bunk and flat screen TV), full bath. Recreation room with refrigerator/wet bar, garage, laundry room.
Level 2:

3 bedrooms (1 with Queen, private bath; 2 with Queen, flat screen TVs, and connecting full bath), den with flat screen TV, powder room, deck.

Què hi ha als voltants

  • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Bias in Duck

The house was extremely clean and the location was very convenient. The pool is a very nice size It could use some new mattresses throughout the house. We enjoyed our time there and the neighbor was super nice.

Family Vacation

The house was wonderful and the pool was excellent. The only negative that we had was that the dishwasher didn't work. Also, if we had needed the bottom bunk, it would have not been good. The bed fell apart and the mattress went almost to the floor at the head when you laid on it. We only needed the top bunk so we were ok for our trip. Thanks for everything.
