Què hi ha als voltants

  • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. This property checks all the boxes: spacious, nicely appointed, well-equipped kitchen, and even an extra small kitchen and entertainment area on the ground floor. But the best part is the location: not just ocean front, but easy access to the beach and blocks from the busy main road, so all you hear is the surf. Highly recommended!

“Duck”ing it at MOJO

House and location perfect for our family. Beachfront next to beach access and in a quiet friendly neighborhood. Beds were comfy kitchen adequately equipped. Made some great memories. Just wished the weather had been better. Traffic was a nightmare. Couldn’t get out to do all we wanted to do. That was disappointing

Ocean Breeze

Very nice home. Convenient to everything you might want to explore. Beautiful sunrises! On our stay we seen 2 full rainbows, a double rainbow and lightning all directly over the ocean from our deck overlooking the ocean. The wild horse tour is a must!

Cleanliness lacking

The house was unclean. We had to request the cleaning crew come back to the home and clean the filthy windows as well as yellow gunk left in the freezer. All of the floors were gritty right from the start. So sweeping was also not high on the priority list. We obviously understand that builds up, and requires us to handle after we begin our stay. But it wasn't clean for the start of our stay. The decks and walls were covered in spiders and their webbing. Just overall not happy with this stay. Won't be going back and will try to avoid Resort Realty properties.

Nice Location

A very nice location. Property was not particularly clean or in great repair: wet towels placed on beds, sand in dryer, door handles broken. Property management was not responsive when I emailed.

Loved this house- the only way it could be more perfect is if it had a pool!!!
