The cottage was well decorated, warm and comfortable. It was quiet on an autumn evening. It is close to the parking and in the courtyard which might be busy on a summer evening. The staff were attentive and aervice was good.

The Golden Fleece Hotel, Thirsk, North Yorkshire
Our stay at the Golden Fleece was great! Easy check-in, lovely room. Food in the evening was great but we didn't have breakfast so can't comment. Easy walkable distance to James Herriot’s house. Parking very easy and felt secure! All in all very nice.

Ryedale Country Lodges - Willow Lodge
This was my first visit to York and the Ryedale cottages was the best place to stay while in the area. The house is lovely with comfortable beds, clean linens, and loads of games to play as a family. There are miles of walking trails and some cheeky sheep to see up the road. The view from the front ...

The Little Hide - Adult Only Camping Pods
Excellent site with great parking, accepts dogs into the pod and the costs of a one night stay we found very reasonable. Not many pod owners have just one night stays and that's why we stayed there. Give it a bash.
