This wonderful location is within an easy, scenic drive of the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales and the famous Settle/Carlisle Railway. Within a 40-minute drive, visitors can explore Ullswater and the Eastern Lakes, Swaledale, Wensleydale and the lesser known Teesdale, along with the popular towns of Keswick, Kendal, Sedbergh, Barnard Castle and Hawes. Tan Hill, the highest pub in Britain, is also a short, pretty drive away. A wide selection of shops, pubs and restaurants are found in Kirkby Stephen 1½ miles away.
