Casa adosada luminosa y espaciosa

Situado en una tranquila calle residencial, esta casa es una hermosa renovación moderna de una casa tradicional. El espacio de vida de 'plan roto' en la planta baja es el espacio perfecto para que las familias y amigos se reúnan y disfruten. Cada habitación de esta casa adosada de cuatro dormitorios y dos baños y medio está hermosamente decorada, combinando elegantes comodidades modernas con el estilo georgiano intemporal. El dormitorio principal / habitación familiar en la planta superior se abre a un balcón privado donde se puede tomar el sol en una tarde de verano. También hay vistas del puerto de Kinsale al este.

Con paredes encaladas y suelos de colores suaves, cada habitación tiene su propio estilo distintivo. No se han pasado por alto detalles para hacer de este un refugio relajante y, lo que es más importante, un hogar lujoso. Perfectamente ubicado a solo 3 minutos a pie del centro de Kinsale, los huéspedes de esta casa adosada tienen acceso a todo lo que Kinsale tiene para ofrecer, desde tiendas, eventos locales hasta restaurantes y vida nocturna.

4 escalones de piedra originales conducen a la entrada, donde uno puede hacer la transición de la bulliciosa ciudad a la calidez y la calma del hogar. Todo el piso superior se entrega al dormitorio principal en suite. Papel pintado de Damasco, cortinas y muebles hermosos agregan calidez y sofisticación. El cuarto de baño es espacioso con una cabina de ducha y acabado con azulejos de efecto concreto. Una gran puerta corredera abre la habitación hacia el gran balcón privado con cubierta.

Fantastic, spacious, centrally located, well equipped house nice to relax in

My husband and I and 1 and 5 year old stayed with 2 other families. This house was fantastic. The top bedroom is great and there was a space on the landing outside for the cot. The 1st floor has 3 bedrooms and a bathroom and the ground floor has a spacious living room, kitchen and dining room with a small outdoor courtyard and a bathroom with a washing machine and tumble dryer. It was a well equipped house making it a pleasure to stay in and great for chilling out in. The location is really great, a stones throw from the shops, restaurants and cafes of Kinsale, a short drive to Kinsale beach and not far from Cork and other great places in the local area like oysterhaven water activity centre. We did the family jungle quest there which was fun! It was easy to park on the road. I would definitely book to stay there again.

A wonderful house in the wonderful town of Kinsale Ireland

Perfect house just above Kinsale center. Five minute walk down the hill. The hill is not a big climb, but if you have someone with limited mobility, this could be tricky. Be advised though, any long walks in Kinsale involves hills. The house is very spacious, comfortable, great kitchen and dining area, outside deck on the roof when it’s not raining (Remember, we are in Ireland). Huge fridge and a large washer and dryer (for European size appliances). Lots of clean towels and the beds are very comfortable. We stayed for a week and cooked in one meal a day. Wi-Fi and cable TV were very strong. Train from Dublin to Cork. Then picked up an Uber. 25 to 30 minute trip to Kinsale costing about €50 for the three of us w baggage. Trip back to Cork at the end of the week was just as easy. We had a wonderful time in Kinsale itself. Lots of long walks to Fort Charles, Kinsale Beach, up in the hills above Kinsale. Great restaurants. Most places we went to, one of us chose fish and chips so we could compare them. They were all good but highly recommend the fish and chips at Jim Edwards pub. Highly recommend this VRBO!

Five of us (all adults) stayed in this property from 25th to 29th April 2024. From the outset, Carmen, the property owner was really helpful. Prior to booking we had a couple of questions and she responded immediately. On arrival, the house was lovely and clean and fresh. It was great to see there was tea, coffee and sugar. The amenities in the house were great - washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board, iron etc. Three of the bedrooms - all of which were big and with double beds - had hairdryers. The master bedroom and its en-suite were beautiful as were the other three bedrooms and main bathroom. The huge, light-filled dining room and kitchen were beautiful and the lounge area was plenty big enough for the five of us to relax. The whole house is tastefully decorated and furnished in a contemporary style. Having said all of that, one of THE best things about this beautiful townhouse is, its location and its proximity to the stunningly beautiful town centre. It is right in the heart of Kinsale with its amazing selection of bars, restaurants, shops and activities on offer. Kinsale and its surrounding towns and villages are stunning and this townhouse is an absolutely perfect base from which to explore it all. One final thing; one of the party left their watch behind and Carmen went above and beyond to get it back to the UK for us and, at her cost. We, honestly, could not have made a better choice for our trip.Kinsale, Arundel townhouse and the host were just awesome.

Kinsale Haven

This townhouse has it all! Large and well furnished interiors, nicely equipped kitchen, and a fabulous location close enough to downtown Kinsale to walk to everything, but on a quiet side street. We would recommend it highly to anyone looking for space, comfort, and very nice ambience. Carmen is a charming host, and helped us with anything we needed as soon as we asked! Kinsale is a small town right on the water with lots of character, interesting sites, and great local pubs. Lovely destination, don't miss nearby Cobh, and stay at Carmen's townhouse! You will have a lovely time in this very pleasant part of southern Ireland, away from the big cities. 5 stars!!!

Irish travel and reunions

The property was extremely clean and very well furnished and beautifully kept.The kitchen was very well equipped to cater for a large group with plenty of plates, cutlery various glasses and loads of cooking utensils. The location was perfect as you couldn’t get any more central. 5 min walk if that to shops, pubs, restaurants and the bustling Kinsale. Loads of places to walk the dog too, as long as you don’t mind going up and down a few hills. The beaches nearby of Garylucas and Garrets-town were well loved by all especially the dog who was done in by the end. Cork centre is only 30 min drive away and the beautiful beaches of Rosscarbery only 45 mins away. There were loads of well priced pubs restaurants to eat and were all very accommodating. Man Friday and hamleys were our favourites. The only odd thing was the outside seating area being off the top bedroom but it was lovely and caught the sun in the evening and not an issue for us at all.

Lovely stay

Good location and easy check-in, check out. Some things not working like dryer. Kitchen dark but dining room full of light and good for dining and studying. Would have liked top sheets on beds and more blankets, plus a couple of umbrellas. Everything else orderly, comfy, soundproof.

WARNING: Owner is a liar

Reservation starting March 15, 2020 DURING COVID 19 worldwide crisis... Owner would not refund our money even though the property was not ready, or cleaned during a pandemic. She did not leave key as stated. She informed us she would refund money via phone however never followed through. DO NOT RENT THIS PROPERTY!!! The owner is not honest, does not adhere to policy, even her own stated policy. She should not be apart of the travel community.

Great space for the 6 of us. Close to market and downtown restaurants. So quiet. Patios were lovely. The only complaint was water pressure in one of the two full baths. Otherwise a wonderful week.

This location can’t be beat! The parking space was especially nice to have secured. Nice house to be able to spread out our group of 5. Convenient to have washer and dryer! Great natural light and modern amenities. Wonderful!

Great 3 story home close to all that Kinsale has to offer

We loved our home away from home in Kinsale. It was clean, comfortable and had all the comforts of home. The property has a bathroom on each floor, and washer, a fully equipped kitchen and 4 spacious bedrooms. The 3rd floor bedroom could be the master bedroom since it has an ensuite, or even better for a family as it has 3 beds. The only drawback (for some) would be the hill up to the house. We didn't have a problem with it, but it might be an issue for some. Otherwise, it was perfect and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Spacious Clean and well equipped. Perfect location for kinsale.

Excellent place to stay right in kinsale with a 2 min walk to shops restaurants and pubs. Easy free parking on road if more than 1 car . Rooms were very clean and lots of nice touches to make it feel like home. The beanbag the size of a bed in the lounge was very popular. !! The kitchen was large and airy with a big dining table and so much cupboard space. Loads of equipment and at least twice as many plates dishes mugs and cutlery than the 9 people it caters for. Carmen left shampoos etc in bathrooms very handy if on hand luggage and also washing up liquid dishwasher tablets and clothes washing gel. The steakhouse was wonderful and Dinos fish and chip supper proved popular and some great little pubs. It is only about 20 minutes from cork airport and 35 from cork centre (handy for Ed Sheeran)We had a wonderful 4 days. Thank you Carmen for all the help before we arrived as well. Can't recommend this place highly enough. Only thing we missed was a full size cheese grater!!
