Beautiful, detatched 300 year old, fully renovated cottage with country views

This Delightful, detached stone cottage of historical interest lies within the substantial mature grounds of the owners period home. With open views over the surrounding rolling countryside and the Ochil Hills beyond this is the perfect setting to relax, unwind and explore Scotland.

Located in a peaceful and tranquil setting, the cottage and has been fully and tastefully refurbished to provide very comfortable, two bed roomed accommodation sleeping up to six people. There are shops, garage, post-office, restaurants, pub food, 2 golf courses and an indoor swimming pool with sauna and spa all within 1 mile.

The cottage has got a lounge with polished wood floors, open beamed ceiling, log burning stove, French windows with views over farmland and the Ochil Hills opening out to patio seating area and barbeque.

The kitchen is fully fitted and well equipped dining kitchen with 4 ring electric cooker, washing machine, dishwasher, tumble dryer, fridge freezer, microwave and Radio/CD player.

The double bedroom with views towards the Ochil Hills this charming room has a pine, king size bed and pine furniture. The twin bedroom is a bright, spacious room with pine furniture and views over the garden. The bathroom is a white bathroom suite with electric shower over bath.

The cottage is fully gas centrally heated and the system is designed to provide constant hot water. Large enclosed mature garden with private parking, garden seating and barbeque.

We really enjoyed our stay in the cottage! The area is beautiful and peacful. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for the week. The host was very friendly and helpful as well.

Kate was a lovely hostess. She was very welcoming and went the extra mile to help us when our daughter misplaced her phone chip. The cottage was very cute, comfortable and convenient to our purposes. Plenty of seating in the lounge with a woodburning fire. The kitchen was well stocked with all we needed even for making home baked goods. This cottage is a great example of rural cozy cottage life. The location was very pleasant with a beautiful natural aspect. It is close enough to walk to the nearby village with caution on the roads. The weather was...well what can we say about that...haha...rainy, foggy and cold with a couple of sunny days. We stayed one week and were quite busy so I think I would want to visit the cottage again to be able to relax more and have another chat with Kate.

Everything exceeded our expectations. Kate and Cameron were extremely welcoming and the cottage was equipped with everything we could need, plus extra touches. Great advice on local walks and things to do in the area, but also loved the warmth and comfort of the cottage to come back to, particularly the sitting-room with its blankets, board games and DVDs etc! Wish we could have stayed longer and will certainly be back.

Wir haben vier wunderschöne Wochen dort verbracht! Kate und Cameron sind äußerst hilfsbereit, sympathisch und entgegenkommend. Kann man sich als Vermieter nur wünschen! Man kann wunderschöne Ausflüge machen, für jeden ist etwas dabei: Schlösser, Parks,wunderschöne Landschaften, stundenlange Wanderungen, Wälder, und zum Meer ist es auch nicht weit. Shoppen geht natürlich auch. Unsere Hunde waren überall willkommen, so dass wir sie immer mitnehmen konnten. Ausgenommen sind natürlich Schlösser von innen. Da haben wir sie immer kurz im Auto gelassen. Ansonsten waren sie überall dabei.

Sehr freundliches Willkommen. Die Gastgeber haben wirklich an alles gedacht und das Cottage so eingerichtet, dass man sich vom ersten Moment an wie zu Hause fühlte.Die Lage des Cottages ist genau wie wir es lieben, ländlich, ruhig und mit den Gastgebern im Haupthaus hat man immer einen Ansprechpartner.

Äußerst ansprechendes, historisches Gebäude, sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Man fühlt sich von Anfang an wohl. Sehr netter Empfang durch die Vermieter, die nebenan wohnen. Zum Ferienhaus gehört ein kleiner Garten, man darf aber den sehr weitläufigen Garten der Gastgeber nutzen. Das Haus liegt idyllisch und abgeschieden, dennoch erreicht man in kurzer Zeit (1/2h bis 1h) Orte wie Stirling, Dunkeld, St. Andrews oder Edinburgh. Auch Geschäfte sind nur wenige Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt.

Very beautiful and comfortable cottage, decorated with great taste. Gifts on arrival, very warm welcome from the owners who were so friendly. Also beautiful dogs and cat. Wi-fi was very haphazard, but not the fault of the owners. Easy access by car to eating places and shops. Beautiful countryside.

Beautiful cottage in a great location

I stayed in this cottage for 11 nights with my dog, my Mum came to visit for the weekend too. Kate and Cameron we're very welcoming, and went to extra lengths to make my stay enjoyable. A lovely touch was the welcome tray with tea, coffee and delicious shortbread! Not to mention a nice bottle of prosecco. The surrounding area is beautiful, and felt really remote and peaceful, despite being a short drive from the motorway with access to popular areas, North and South. There were also lots of lovely walks to enjoy, which we did in the fabulous Scottish sunshine!

Relaxing week in Ballingall Cottage

Beautifully restored cottage, in a lovely quiet area. Really cosy and has all the things you need for a comfortable stay. Kate gave us a lovely welcome, the Prosecco was ace! Would definitely recommend.

Spacious Cottage Near Kinross

Very good location, a minutes drive from Milnathort/Kinross. Easy access to and from the M90 and conveniently placed for exploring this beautiful part of Scotland. Very quiet. The cottage is, clean and well equipped and furnished with everything you need. The hosts/owners are very welcoming and love dogs. We had a great stay. Highly recommended!
