Què li ha agradat: Neteja, personal i servei, comoditats, estat de l’allotjament i instal·lacions
On our trip to the Catskills we stayed at two places and this one far exceeded our expectation given its price. The views are fantastic no matter if you pay for the mountain-side view. However, the mountain-side view does give you access to the “backyard” from your room so you can just go stargazing or play the games they have or even sit by the bonfire.
The lobby area is fantastic and so cozy with books and games. My partner and I kept playing battleship and there wasn’t really anyone else there, but even if there was it’s big enough to accommodate.
As for dining, the lodge itself has dining Thursday-Saturday if I’m correct and a bar. The food/drinks are expensive and ok but that seems to be the theme in that area. There is also another lodge that has a $$ restaurant right in front of the lodge. You could theoretically walk there but the “highway” is between the two.
Oh and the breakfast is fantastic! It’s bagels, pastries, fruits and cereal but they’re all good quality and the view you get with your dining is phenomenal. I recommend sitting in the corner table next to the tall window and the fireplace just for the cozy feel and the views.
