# 8 Son's River Ranch - Glamping Cabin w/ 2 Queen Beds

Stay the night in a brand new, insulated and air-conditioned, one of a kind Glamping Cabin! Our Glamping Cabins are fully furnished and have everything you need to stay comfortable including foam mattress beds, linens and towels, kitchenette, comfortable outdoor furniture, hammock, firepit and more! If you want to enjoy the great Texas outdoors without the setup and hassle of tent camping, while having all the creature comforts of home, our Glamping Cabins are for you!

The space
With a Glamping Cabin rental, you and your guests will enjoy the beautiful scenery and peacefulness of Son’s River Ranch which sits on the San Marcos River with its blue spring water and majestic tree studded banks. Sit ‘round the campfire at night and gaze at the big, bright, Texas starry sky! We are surrounded by large ranches which makes for a great outdoor get away from it all experience!

Son's River Ranch is a fun, relaxing property located on the gorgeous San Marcos R. with 24 cabins, 76 Cabanas as well as tube & kayak rentals! Guests from all over the state come to enjoy the spring-fed, blue water of the San Marcos R that has a consistent good flow, great fishing & is perfect for tubing & kayaking! The property is clean & well maintained & run by a friendly, professionally staff. Our glamping cabins have everything you need to be comfortable while enjoying the outdoors.
There are 24 Glamping Cabins in total, each are identical and come with:

2 queen sized bed with foam mattress. They also feature a kitchenette with mini fridge, coffee maker, hot plate with pots and pans and blender. We do not provide silverware and dinnerware, so be sure to bring these, though linens and towels are provided in our Glamping Cabins. For inside entertainment and relaxation, guests will find a TV & DVD player. Outdoor amenities include: comfortable wicker seating, hammocks, fire-pits, BBQ pits, picnic table, outdoor lighting, water and electricity.

The unique design of our Glamping Cabins allows you to open up the entire front wall to enjoy an indoor/outdoor living experience, perfect for eating, relaxing and reconnecting with your friends and family.

There are two 5-unit bathroom trailers by our glamping cabins (10 full bathrooms in total with showers) for your use.

Guest access
Our Glamping Cabins sit up on a hill overlooking the river bottom and it is a quick walk down to the river. Guests are welcome to explore and use the many amenities of Son’s River Ranch including chairs and umbrellas by the river’s edge, the numerous hammocks which are spread through the property, sand volleyball court, fire pits and more!

There are 15 private, lockable full bathrooms located directly behind the Glamping Cabins. You can temporarily park and unload by your cabin then please park in the parking lot behind the Glamping Cabins.

Other details to note
Son’s River Ranch also rents Riverside Cabanas that can be added to a guests stay but it’s best to reserve ahead of time as we are normally full every day in the summer and most weekends. Cabanas are available from 10:30 AM - 6:30 PM and come with picnic table, BBQ pit, comfortable outdoor wicker furniture, water and electricity. Cabana rentals are extra, though Cabin guests may use picnic tables, lounge chairs and umbrellas down by the water free of charge.

We also rent tubes and kayaks. We have another location 2 miles downriver which is our tubing/kayaking take out. Shuttles run back and forth during the high season every day and most weekends during the off season (we do not run shuttles in the winter however and shuttles must be scheduled ahead of time). Our section of the river is very family friendly and has no dangerous dams or rapids. It’s a great place for beginners to kayak and just about anyone can tube. We provide free life jacket use for non or weak swimmers.

Neighborhood description
We are located in the country, but we are easy to get to. There isn't much in the immediate area as far as restaurants and shopping so it's best to bring your own food and plan to cook and BBQ. We do have a convenience store and Dollar General located a few miles away as well a local favorite restaurant called Franks. A little further out you will find some of the best BBQ in the state in both Lockhart and Luling! If you head to Lockhart try Smitty's or Black's BBQ in Luling the place to go is City Market! Blue Lotus winery is also not far away as well as BS Brewery.
Getting around

The River and all amenities are within walking distance. You are welcome to bring bikes if you like.

Guest can temporarily park right at their cabin to unload but then we ask Guests to please park in the free parking areas behind the cabins.
