A 1st for me using VRBO The vegetation could be trimmed to better enjoy the beautiful backyard waterfall/same for the lakeview Saw four wild turkeys while looking out of our picture window each morning Bed was comfortable. Had restful sleep. Close to town but far enough away to enjoy peaceful setting "

"I enjoyed my stay. The cottage is lovely, charming. Maryanne is just a lovely host. I had questions for her and she responded pretty quickly. The views of the lake, sunsets, sunrises, moon is breathtaking. "

"We really enjoyed staying at this cottage! It is apparent that Adam has taken a lot of care in renovating the cottage with quality craftsmanship, materials and appliances, while still retaining the charm of this property. We liked the new kayaks and paddleboards. We spent time relaxing in the small lake house on the shores of the lake. The kids liked having ping pong tournaments each night. I would recommend this cottage -- it is a great lake experience!"

"Great location and nice property. Disappointed that none of the summer amenities of the lake were available during my stay. I feel that I paid Summer rates and the dock, canoes and kayaks and other lakes amenities were inaccessible . We were unable to fish off the dock, and that was a disappointment.. Minor suggestions: install a functional drip coffee maker, and provide some kind of ability to hang clothes in the downstairs bedroom"

"We had a blast staying on Owasco. Morning trips on the kayaks followed by exploration of the surrounding areas was great. A quick trip to Cayuga or Skaneateles gives you infinite options for food, drink and entertainment!"

"This cozy lakeside retreat with many custom, craftsman-style touches, was the backdrop for our best memories this week. Whether we were inside or out, kayaking, reading, or dining lakeside, the peace and tranquility of this home was just what we needed. We can’t wait to go back! Although we have been to the Finger Lakes Region many times, this is the place we will remember most. "

"It was very relaxing. The place was very clean and accurate described. Ann Marie was very nice and very helpful. She willingly shared her knowledge and her grapes and plums as well. The only disappointment was not being able to catch a salmon. One day I will. The place itself is all I expected from a cabin on a lake. And for us the stair climb wasn’t that difficult. Loved the use of the rowboat and canoe.i definitely would stay again. We enjoyed."

"The house was in a prime location - right on the lake! It was well equipped with all of the items we needed. We love to cook and did so every day. Everything was well thought out with the rental to make it as enjoyable as possible. The two story sunporch was amazing and when we were indoors that's where we were. Thanks, Janice for sharing your little puece of heaven with us."

"We had a delightful two-week stay here. The living area is cozy — perhaps even a bit small for more than two or three people—but very comfortable. Kitchen is roomy and well equipped. And morning coffee or evening wine on the large deck can’t be beat. The property manager, Sally, and the host,Don, immediately and cheerfully addressed a small problem with a clogged sink drain. There’s lots of interesting history in the area, and the cottage location, almost midway between Ithaca and Auburn, makes...
