South View Chalet!

Southview chalet has beautiful relaxing mountain views from the lounge, den, or hot tub. You or the kids can enjoy your favorite movies at our private theater or cool off and jump in the pond. If you've had a tough week or long day on the mountain bring your bathing suits for a session in the sauna or hot tub.
The lounge has a custom bar for you to stock and serve your friends, plush seating area in front of the fire place, and there's also a flat screen mounted on the wall if you are interested in watching TV.
There's also a gourmet kitchen for the cooking enthusiasts.
If you don't feel like driving to the mountain you can walk out to the main road which is only 50 yards from the house and jump on the shuttle. The top restaurants and bars are a short walk as well. Although most of them have their own free shuttles that will pick you up.
We are all concerned about the effects COVID-19 may have on the upcoming season. Killington has released a messaged with their plans for operation for the 20/21 season. They are confident that they will be able to operate through out the winter with their new operations plans.
We are asking all of our guests this season to consider purchasing trip insurance. This will cover you as a guest and us as a host if for some reason you need to cancel your reservation.

Family weekend at Killington

Great location and house. Perfect for large groups, there is plenty of space with multiple rooms so your group can spread out. Minutes to Killington mountain.

Great location, beautiful house, but dirty & messy

This house is great for large groups and a perfect location. But the cleaning fee is clearly just being pocketed as the house was dirty and messy when we arrived. It was clear the bedsheets had not been changed from the prior guests which was upsetting and a big turn off. Other areas of the house were also very messy. For the price thst is charged, I would expect this house to be immaculate. The movie theater was a huge hit, but has a very foul smell to it. The heat had not been turned on before we arrived and the house took almost two days to fully warm up. Overall, the house has some great amenities and is a great spot for big groups. But due to the cleanliness issues, I’m not sure that I would book again.

Excellent house

The house was great! Very well maintained. One of the nicest homes I have ever rented. Andrew was also very responsive when we had a question on the movie room. Fantastic experience.

Sadly not up to par - Cleanliness and Smell Issues

We rented the house for a family vacation for a total of three couples and their children (age 3-5). Sadly upon arrival we discovered that the house had a strong moldy smell layered with Febreze and other odor masking chemicals. The carpets throughout the home were stained and a layer of dust was visible on most surfaces. We tried to make the best of it, but could never get used to it. In fact, my wife ended up with a massive headache for two days and was bedridden as a result. We notified the owner of the smell and he said he was aware. He offered to send some air purifiers which we declined. Instead we left the house one day early. A few hours after we left, mu wife already started to feel better. We are sad that our holiday was cut short and we believe that the price we paid for the house was not in line with the quality we expected as a result. I’m sure a bunch of twenty year old sharing the house would have no problem with it, but as families with young children we felt that this was unacceptable in this price range.

Great house convenient to everything…

We probably picked the coldest weekend in 5+ years… - we had some issues due to that (pipes freezing), power outage (outside of owners control), dishwasher not working, but owner was very responsive and let us stay longer on Sunday to try and make the best of our time in killington. We had a great time and we would stay at this house again for sure, hopefully picking a weekend where it wasn’t as cold!

This place has it all!

We booked the property for my mother's 80th birthday along with extended family which included 4 kids aged 1.5 - 17. The property pretty much had everything you could imagine and I loved that we could all spread out to get some R&R while also enjoying family time by the fire. The kids especially loved the screening room! Andrew was incredibly accommodating and even went out of his way to ensure we received items left behind.

Another Great Stay at the South View Chalet

We had a group of 12 co workers come up and enjoy a long weekend at the Chalet. We had done the same trip the previous year at this house as well. There is plenty of space for everyone. Lots of rooms to spread out. The kitchen is well appointed. The pellet stoves keep the place ripping warm. We loved that hot tub was moved from outside up onto the upper balcony covered porch. We'll definitely be booking here again!

Perfect Weekend

Wonderful house for a large group! Minutes from the slopes as well as great restaurants. Never needed the host, however he checked in on us to confirm all was well! The wood in the garage was great — burned wood the entire weekend! Theatre room was a huge hit for the kids! Can’t wait to come back!

Killington Stay

Overall I would recommend this house. It is perfect for larger groups of adults or families with plenty of sleeping and living space so you don't feel cramped. It has clearly been through some wear and tear on the walls and some of the bathroom fixtures from previous stays but overall solid quality. The driveway was an issue with the amount of snow we received and lack of timely towing but we found a solution and the landlord assisted us. Besides those two minor things we all enjoyed ourselves and appreciated the rental, so thank you!

Up North

Large annual golf outing. Lodging is provided but not up to the standards of our group of friends. This house was the perfect spot for us. The location is perfect and had everything we needed and then some! Will definitely book again if it’s available for us.

Good Amenities

Seamless and very enjoyable experience. From the sauna to the hot tub and movie theater, Andrew’s house has it all. We felt right at home. I would highly recommend this home for any large group looking to spend time in Killington any time of the year.

Ski trip

Andrew was a great host. Only issue I have is better plowing of the driveway. It’s on a steep hill and if you have FWD you’re going to get stuck. No ice melt or sand in the house. Movie theatre hot tub sauna are great editions to the house. Kitchen appliances are top notch.

Great home, great location

Great home, great location, fantastic for our group. The movie theatre, hot tub, sauna, and pond really make this place awesome. I’m not one to complain, but that driveway is steep and can be a bit slick. Thanks again, was really a great time!
