  • Sandy Dream is a second level oceanfront luxury condominium, featuring spectacular ocean views from two private decks. This spacious retreat features a three bedroom floor plan as well as two living rooms and two full baths. Nothing has been overlooked in designing this quality oceanfront condominium, the ultimate in vacation accommodations.

    Some amenities you can look forward to are a huge marble walk-in shower off the Master bedroom with Kohler fixtures that include 8 shower heads, 2 of which are from the ceiling. The granite top sink/vanity is a perfect match. The guest bath also includes a granite top sink/vanity. Other amenities include a dishwasher, washer/dryer, central AC/heat and ceiling fans. Kick back during the evenings in front the Big Screen HDTV with digital cable. Smart TVs, books and games.

    ** No Pets. Please note: RVs, boats and trailers are prohibited from parking at Scrimshaw II. Two vehicles per unit.

Location Location Location with Amazing View of Ocean!

This condo has an amazing view of the ocean and it literally sits just a few feet off the beach. The condo is clean and spacious, and the master bath walk-in shower is awesome. Two of the three bedrooms have balcony access and the building has a small cargo lift, so you don’t have to carry all of your luggage, beach gear and groceries up 3 flights of stairs. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans and utensils, and the beds are maybe just a bit firm, but not uncomfortable. The rental company is very helpful and friendly, and took very good care of us. Would stay here again in a heartbeat! The view off the balcony is breathtaking!

Very nice beachfront property

Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you don't, I GOT LUCKY!! This place was terrific. Very nice layout, luxury details that surprise, a condo that meets all those vacation expectations in the OBX. The only negative is the three flight of stairs to get to the front door, but at least they had a 'dumb waiter' for luggage & supplies. This would be perfect for family with two older children or two to three younger , or two couples. All rooms have a smart tv, kitchen is great with a keurigg coffee maker, & the decks facing the ocean make mornings & evenings to die for.

Amazing views!

The views are amazing from the dining room, family room and both bedrooms. The kitchen is fully stocked,(every kitchen gadget to Tupperware containers), many books, tons of dvds and a PlayStation with games. It was so quiet and peaceful during our stay. We only saw 2 other people the entire week in our building. The condo location is very close to Publix and tons of stores and restaurants. I’ve read the master bedroom bed will be changed out soon and it’s definitely time. The shower in the master is amazing!! We truly enjoyed this condo and our 1st trip to OBX.

Wonderful location

Our family of five really enjoyed the location directly on the beach. There was plenty of room inside and outside for everyone to find there own space to relax. The open floor plan was wonderful to keep the family together. The reality company was wonderful with answering pre-trip questions and making a smooth check-in/check-out process. For our family with two physically challenged members, the sand dune was a challenge coming back from the beach. Unlike some homes in the area, the boardwalk/steps do not extend over the dune. You have to walk up the soft dune which can be challenging for some. Otherwise, a wonderful home and location close to activities while providing your own quiet part of the Outer Banks.

Pricing has pushed us out of renting individual houses so we were a little apprehensive of a condo, however, this condo was amazing. The condo was clean, kitchen was fully stocked with anything necessary, and the views were breathe taking. Although a little more crowded than we are used to in the past, the beaches were still beautiful and not overly crowded.

Disappointed in cleaning service!

Upon arriving at the property, first thing we noticed was the floor was very dirty, full of crumbs, receipt on floor by sofa! Countertops in kitchen were dirty, as were the sinks. They could use a good scrub and a dian with bleach! Same with the bathroom sinks, especially around the rim!! Dust everywhere, lamps, pictures, fans; the vent cover for the A/C was so heavily covered in dust/lint I had to use the vacuum to remove it! This is the not what we were expecting or paid for. I certainly would hope that whomever was on duty the day we checked in, sat., Sept 18, gets a review in how to properly clean!!!!
