Tastefully furnished and outfitted with a family experience in mind, everyone will find their best vacation experience ever, at a great value. Fresh and inviting furnishings and interior design includes hardwood and tile floors for a level up on the status quo for properties this size. Just a short walk to the beach with boardwalk access near a local tiki bar and restaurant in case you need drinks and snacks. 'Beach Bound' is a great location too! Centrally located on a quiet street in Kill Devil Hills, you can walk to restaurants, shopping, and the beach! Did we mention Fido? Bring your favorite family dog and let him enjoy a week at the beach too, or let them enjoy the fenced in back yard! Take the kids on a bike ride along the neighborhood and you can even ride bikes to public tennis courts, skate park, and the Wright Memorial National Park for history, bike paths and panoramic ocean views from the top of the monument. Take a day trip to the 4-wheel drive area for a Wild Horse Tour, or tour Manteo to the south for the North Carolina Aquarium, the Lost Colony outdoor drama, and a quaint seaside village day.

All Outer Banks Blue vacation rentals include bed linens, with beds made prior to your arrival for convenience. We also provide a starter supply of paper towels, dishwashing detergent, and toilet paper.

This house fit our group perfectly! The only thing I would tell people is that if you sleep on a soft bed at home, you may want to bring a mattress topper for your stay. The kitchen had all the necessary items for us to cook meals and we had plenty of space to sit together. It was a great trip!

Comfy and Relaxing

The house was great! It was exactly what I expected for a beach house. It was very comfortable and clean. It wasn't "hospital sanitized clean" but it was better than I have seen some places. The dogs LOVED the fenced in yard and we really loved the hot tub and decks. I would definitely recommend this house for it's location close to the beach and close to other stores and activities. stores and activities

Family Beach Week

We enjoyed our stay at Beach Bound. It’s a lovely home and short walk to the beach. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The outdoor space was perfect for our dog!!

Great house and fantastic location.

The week was fabulous. The house is a short walk from a nice public beach access and right n the middle of town so close to everyrhing i like. Nice new hot tub. Cant say enough about this place we will be back next year for sure.

Beautiful beach home!

Less than 5 min walk to the beach was perfect! Quick back and forth walk for cooler refills, lunch, and just some break from the sun. Home was very clean and wonderfully decorated! The large dining table made morning breakfasts for the extended family perfect. At night it was peaceful to sit outside and hear the waves, even with a local brewery and hotels close by. Highly recommend the property to anyone looking for a beach getaway!!

Horribly Uncomfortable. Wasted Potential!

This could be such a nice house if anyone showed it one bit of love. We arrived to find cushions laying on the stairs going up to the main front door. No idea why they were there. We walked in to find a piece of woodwork, unattached, and out of place, leaving exposed nails. One of the towel bars was hanging off in the bathroom. There was a broken lamp in the bedroom, literally broken in half just sitting there. The first morning I opened the microwave door and the top plastic part fell off and hit me in the head. We then realized there was a second microwave on the counter. We used it twice, the second time it got extremely hot and then stopped working. The ceiling fans were filthy, and under the beds was disgusting. All that being said, the worst part about this house was how uncomfortable it was. We go to the beach every single summer, and we have never stayed in a house where the beds and couches were more uncomfortable! We enjoyed our time on the beach, and the back patio by the hot tub area was fabulous, but we wound up leaving a day early even though the weather was good, because my husband and I both felt terrible from sleeping and sitting in such an uncomfortable space. The furniture was horrible! This house is in a great location. The neighbor was lovely. Please please show this house some attention and make it as nice as it should be. The rental company did offer to put in work orders when I reached out to them however, we have dogs, so we declined.

Great location

Pros: House was a good size for our group. Huge backyard for our dogs and we liked that it was fenced in. Nice hot tub for a rainy windy day. Great location central to everything in the outer banks and a really short walk to the beach. Nice outdoor seating on both sides of the house. Washer and dryer were good. Cons: Many outlets seemed to be for show and didn’t work despite us trying various light switches. Air conditioning is horrible and borderline non existent. It was hot as hell upstairs and you’re not allowed to set it lower than 72 degrees or open windows and doors. Mattress was super firm and felt like you were sleeping on a rock but the pillows were awesome. Wifi isn’t fantastic, I had an easier time using my friends mobile hotspot. It’s not the kind you put a password in and go. You have to go through a website and some devices like my laptop and Nintendo switch wouldnt allow me to log in which was so frustrating. On the last night, we found what appeared to be a cockroach crawling on the wall. When we were cleaning and checking under the couch while getting ready to leave, I found a juice pouch from a previous stay. Staying at a property owned by a rental company just lacks that TLC.

Perfect!

Although we happened to go during a terrible storm, this was the perfect house for my husband and I to get away. The fences in yard was perfect for our dogs, and it was cozy. It had a great location and within walking distance to great restaurants. I can’t mention anything about the beach, but it was easy to access. Will definitely return!

Would definitely come back!!

My husband and I took a long weekend for our "babymoon" and we could not have been more satisfied with the location and amenities of this house. The house was super clean, plenty of space, up-to-date, and our 2 fur babies enjoyed the fenced in backyard! Quick walk to the beach, Swells-a-brewing brewery, and Kill Devil Grill (amazing food)! Rental company is super responsive and very considerate, they went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect! Would definitely stay here again.

Awesome house close to the beach!

We loved this house! Great location and so close to the beach! The fenced in yard was great for our dogs! The hot tub was awesome for the end of a long day. We would definitely rent here again! Outer banks Blue was awesome to deal with as well and took good care of us!

Great neighborhood, close walk to the beach, everything you need.

This was a great place to have our family and our fur babies. This was a short little walk to the beach and walking distance to other things to do and shops. We brought our parents that are older, and with bad knees, so the stairs in the house and to the ocean was hard on them. But otherwise, this house had everything we needed. Also, the fenced in yard was a great piece of mind, knowing the dogs couldn't run off or get hit. Would definitely come back to this house again.

Perfect for our family

We loved our stay at Beach Bound. The home was tastefully decorated and clean. The kitchen has everything we needed to enjoy many meals at home. Our dogs loved the fenced in yard and the short walk to the beach everyday. We would love to stay here again. Our only tiny complaint is that the internet service was very slow, however it was the perfect excuse to not use our electronic devices :)

Exactly as Pictured/Described

The house was great for my family's needs and was exactly as Pictured and described in the listing. Checking in and out was quick, convenient, and easy. The beach was a short walk away. We weren't sure what "basics" would be provided, so be sure to bring your own hand soap, dish soap, spices, aluminum foil, toilet paper, coffee filters, etc. A roll of paper towels and a dishwasher detergent packet was provided, as well as a bar of soap in one or two of the bathrooms (but not in all). There were plenty of dishes, glasses, cookware, and flatware, however - the kitchen had everything we needed to make and eat our meals at the house.

Beach Bound Beauty

House is very nicely decorated. Very comfortable furniture and roomy living area. Bedrooms are a bit small. Hot tub was leaking so we had to refill and it took a long time to reheat. Location was perfect for us. If we have the opportunity we will return to Beach Bound.

Great beach house in the middle of OBX

My family had a great stay at Beach Bound. The location is fantastic: one block from beach access and right in the middle of OBX - providing easy access to attractions in the north, the south, and everything in between. The house has a great layout for extended family accommodations...kids loved the bunks, sister-in-law loved the privacy of the bedroom/bathroom in the lower level.

Great space

The living area was larger than expected which was a pleasant surprise with 6 adults. 2 large couches could be replaced since the vinyl is shedding. Spacious deck areas. Less than 5 minute walking distance to the beach. Outdoor shower great feature. Unloading and packing up under cover was a major plus since it was raining both days. The kitchen is well equipped with quality cooking utensils, pots, pans, bakeware, glassware, dishes and flatware. When we come back to this area we will definitely be staying here.
