  • Sugar Beach Resort #PH-40 is a penthouse suite towered on the sixth floor and located on the front row, southern-end location of the complex. From the oversized balcony, you are just a stones-throw away from the water. This panoramic, 180 degree ocean view is perfect for outdoor dinning, watching sunsets, or observing the whales in season! Sugar Beach Resort #PH-40 is a 2 bedroom 2 bath condo that can sleep up to six guests. The unit has a full kitchen, washer-dryer, central AC, and an oceanfront balcony. There are king beds in the master and guest bedrooms, and a queen sofa bed in the living room. Unit has a 65-inch Smart TV, stereo system, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Long distance calling to the US Mainland and Canada is included. The unit also comes equipped with basic beach equipment you will need to explore any of Maui's pristine beaches. A $200 refundable security deposit is required for this unit. Sleeps 6.
    This condo fronts a long white sand beach called Sugar Beach which is perfect for long walks, sunsets and fun in the sun.
    Same day bookings and those arriving within 48 hours of making the reservation requires a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation.
    Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require an ID check and screening prior to confirmation.
    Longer stays require additional terms and conditions. Please contact Rentals Maui for inquiries longer than 60 nights.

This oceanfront complex is just a few steps away from Maui's longest continual white sand beach, perfect for long strolls on the beach or enjoying postcard sunsets! The complex itself has tasteful Hawaiiana decor and all the amenities you will need to enjoy a relaxing vacation. Some of the amenities include a large oceanfront pool and spa, onsite restaurant and lounge, shared gas grills, a putting green and so much more. Located in South Maui, you are just a quick drive away from premier golf courses, tennis clubs, restaurants, shopping, and world-class beaches!

Great place

Married couple plus married daughter and grandkid all stayed in PH40(2bedroom). Great place and well furnished. Loved the view and double length lanai.

We had a great time as usual at Sugar Beach. The condo itself is a little dated but is very spacious and clean. It had everything we needed for a great stay. Jean was fantastic to work with and I hope to book this same property in the future.

The Penthouse two bedroom was great the view is wonderful! The rooms were clean and spacious The resort is laid back and all the guest were great (except one ) to spend time with Jean was great and accommodated our schedule with our small children I will be back

Awesome location

This unit is perfect for a family or two couples...the location is the BEST...we love Sugar Beach and always choose to stay here. The unit was great and offered everything we needed!! If we need a two bedroom unit again, we'll definitely be booking this!

Amazing Location

We had a great time here, location and views are incredible. This unit has all the amenities you could possibly need to enjoy your stay. The on-site amenities are also great for booking events/renting gear. Jean was incredible to communicate with and accommodating to all our needs. Definitely worth coming back to.

Trip to Maui

Jean and team were wonderful to book through! It was super easy to check in and out and the condo was lovely. You can’t beat this view! The condo is a little dated- carpet throughout- but it was large, air conditioned and clean which is what mattered more to my group and I.

Family trip to create more amazing memories in Maui!

This was a family trip and our 4th time booking at sugar beach resort. We booked 3 separate rooms to accommodate us all. Our room was perfect for us, it was spacious, comfortable, had all the necessities and amazing views, it met all our needs. We love the location, grounds, amenities and have had all positive experiences with the hosts and the resort. We hope to return again soon.

Incredible location

This was my children’s first time seeing the ocean and the view from PH 40 was absolutely spectacular! The place was clean and comfortable, close to grocery stores, which was amazing. The pool, access to BBQs for grilling, the beach right outside the building made it easy to keep everyone happy. It was an incredible vacation and I would absolutely go back! The property manager, Jean was so great to deal with too.

Sugar Beach is THE premier comfortable condo complex in Maui----and this penthouse suite is superbly managed and furnished----even included 2 sets of very nice snorkel gear....terrific view from the 6th floor. Doesn't get any better than this !

Best place to rent for two couples!

We had the most amazing time staying in PH 40. It felt like home, it was cozy and we had everything we needed. We loved sitting on the lanai watching the waves and the people. We definitely want to return next year. Whoever manages it does a wonderful job. Seven days was not long enough!

Mother - Daughter Trip

Trip of a lifetime! The penthouse was perfect for our needs. Had everything we needed including a washer and dryer. Beds and shower were great!! The view was definitely the best part!! Pool was amazing! We have so many beautiful pictures! Thank you to Jean for all your help! We would definitely come to Sugar Beach again.

Fantastic balcony and view, great location on the beach, nice layout for a family. As others highlighted, it could do with a couple of updates (e.g. old carpets throughout).
